William and Henry have a little chat (FNAF Resprung),
TW: Mild swearing
William Afton adjusted his bow tie and held the Spring Bonnie head he wore to entertain the children under his arm.
He stepped into the shared office that he and his business partner; Henry Emily used.
"William, we need to talk, we need to discuss your behavior recently," Henry said, tapping a pencil on his desk.
"Henry, come on, you know kids can get all worked up over nothing, the little snots don't know left from right," William assured his partner, sitting down in a chair in a sophisticated way.
"William, I'm seriously worried about your health-" Henry began, but William cut him, "Henry, my chum, pal of mine, I'm the picture of health, I take good care of myself,"
"Damn it Will! That's not what I mean! I mean mentally, mentally your health is in the gutter, Will! I can see it in the way you act toward the children! You're scaring em! You're acting all...screwy!" Henry said, raising his voice.
"Don't raise your voice at me Henry, you have no rights to! You're just jealous I take pride in my work, you've never even bothered to care about Fredbear as your passion, Spring Bonnie is my own flesh and blood, my creation!" William started to get very pressed by Henry's prying.
"There you go again, Will! It's an animatronic, not your son, I get you're proud of your accomplishments, but it's only a mechanical rabbit, you need help," Henry was beginning to get very concerned
"You don't get it Henry, you don't love your creation like I love mine, you never could, Spring Bonnie is to me, what Charlotte is to you," William said with full sincerety.
"Will, please! Listen to me, you've GOT to stop this, Spring Bonnie is just a character we created, he's not real! Please, for the love of God, William, get some help!"
"I wouldn't expect you to understand Henry, this resturant was just a game for you, it was all for the attention, you never cared about the entertainment, or the technology, or making these robots the best they can be,"
William sneered, bouncing the Spring Bonnie head on his left knee. He looked down into the purple eyes of the pale yellow rabbit head.
"Will, for the last time, you need some help, you're not thinking straight, we built this together, we've worked together for years, we can't let this fall apart now," Henry put his hand on William's shoulder, William shrugged his hand off.
"I would agree, we need to keep this place open, it's my- I mean, our- magnum opus, our muse, and we can't let it flicker out now," William said, eyes still boring into the eyes of the suit head.
"Glad we can agree for once, I know you're stressed out about the health inspections recently, but we've got nothin' to worry about, our friendship's been rocky lately, I'm hoping it can go back to how it was," Henry gave a hopeful smile to William, but William was thinking only on how he was going to make the animatronics better.
He loved his creations and the pizzeria and he wanted it to succeed, with or without Henry, but he had to keep working with Henry, he was the one who built the animatronics, but William created Spring Bonnie's design, drew it, lived and breathed it.
It was almost like he put a little of himself into the character, and the children were none the wiser of the creative passion, but they loved Spring Bonnie too, just as he did.
"I..Hope it can too," William said, giving an eerie grin back at Henry. He stood up from the chair and went to leave, but Henry stopped him, "Oh, and Will, I want you to take this, call this number and schedule an appointment, I think it'll do you some good," Henry slipped him a card for a therapist's office.
William scrunched up his face for a second, but realized, maybe it'd do him some good.
"Thanks, Henry, you have a good night, okay?" He looked back at Henry, "No problem, William, you get some rest tonight, y'hear...I'll see you tomorrow, alright?" Henry said from his desk.
"See you tomorrow, my friend," William muttered as he left the office, William was conflicted, he had disdain for Henry for not seeing the improvements they could make, but he cared for Henry's company as a partner.
He headed toward his car, and placed the Spring Bonnie head in the back with the suit, he was taking it home for repairs.
Speaking of home, it would be time to start the experiments again, Henry wasn't on to him yet, and he was sure Michael could take another night of sleep tests.
It was going to be a fulfilling night.
