"The Cat Who..." And other mysteries

My recent voyages into the land of books has brought me across a cute little mystery series entitled "The Cat Who..." They take place around a retired journalist who lives in a small town with his two siamese cats, one of which helps him solve murders and crimes. He writes a small column in the town newspaper. Also he is a millionaire having inherited a fortune from a family friend who lived in the town (Pickaxe). They aren't the most brain working mysteries but they are very good if you want just a nice peaceful read. They tend to be a bit over two hundred pages, I personally am able to read through one or two in a day.

Some other good mysteries along the same vein are buy Laura Childs. She has three different sets of mystery series. One is the tea shop mysteries. The characters work in a tea shop and different stores along the same street, the main character owns the tea shop and solves the mysteries. Her second is based in New Orleans with a scrap booking shop owner who solves mysteries in that one. I haven't read the third series yet but I'm sure it is just as good as the other two. All of the series are still having books published about them.

So ya that's my ramble for today. Happy Reading!

Those books are neat! I read one aaggges ago but I can't remember for the life of me what it was about. I know the cats names are  Kao K'o-Kung (Or 'Koko' for short :P) and Yum-Yum.

Awesome! I'm glad I'm not the only one on here who has heard of them :D. You should definitely get back into them if you can. Their fluff but good fluff and I just love the cats!
