Milk Wave 454 Posted May 6, 2013 OH NO BUCKING WAY. It seems to me like you have some Street by 50 headphones. I want some to compare to the Beats line, but besides that ive heard they're actually really good/well built. Link to comment

Street by 50 owns the Beats headphones... the material on the Beats headphones is crap, and doesn't really have any good durabillity. However, the Street by 50 headphones, are made of really good, flexible material, and have better durabillity than Beat headphones. Also, the sound is way better than Beats headphones. 2 Link to comment

I would agree they probably do sound better in every way. Though I do have some beats that surprisingly haven't broken on me after heavy usage, but I know lots of people are concerned with the quality of the headphones. Ive seen the Beats executive though, and they're made from all metal compared to the Studios. Plus, they've finally toned down the bass a little and improved the preamp for a better sound quality. -- Actually, brb. I gotta go change the batteries in mine since ive been playing music at 100% volume for a straight week or 2. Link to comment

ProjectRKA 2,848 Posted May 6, 2013 How much do these cost exactly? Look it up on the sms audio website. The price there is maybe a bit different, since I bought mine on a danish website. They're the SMS Audio Street by 50. Link to comment
Milk Wave 454 Posted May 6, 2013 Wait what ? XD I have Beats Studios that take AAA batteries. It sucks to change them once in a while but to have some insane bass I gotta do so. Personally I can care less about clarity and muddy bass. As long as I can hear the treble/vocals well without it disturbing me, then im ok with it. Link to comment

Milk Wave 454 Posted May 6, 2013 But changing batteries on headphones... ? XD Yeah, pretty bad. They don't work if the batteries die out, which makes it even worse if you don't have any spare ones. Link to comment
ProjectRKA 2,848 Posted May 6, 2013 Yeah, pretty bad. They don't work if the batteries die out, which makes it even worse if you don't have any spare ones. Jeez... seriously, if you get the money some time, get the Street by 50 headphones. Link to comment

Actually I could get them for my birthday if I wanted to, but I already made up my mind to get urbeats earbuds for travel, and a PS3 Pulse headset to replace my old Beats. Link to comment

The Beats earbuds are alright, I guess. They don't look that nice, in my opinion... but that's just a minor detail. Lol. Link to comment
Viscra Maelstrom 3,719 Posted May 6, 2013 i have no idea about any kinds of headphones. the only ones i seem particularly interested to get are the Monoprice ones, but the shipping to Sweden is ridiculous. i might settle for some Sennheiser or whatever at some point. 1 Link to comment

Milk Wave 454 Posted May 6, 2013 Sennheiser never disappoint. I can gurantee that. Only problem is with quality comes price, and that thing costs as much as a gaming desktop. Though I remember the Sennheiser Orpheus that came out in the 90's. It was on sale for $25000 dollars at the time. Link to comment

I can gurantee that. yeah, though if you're really hellbent on getting a good sound system for THAT price, might as well by a giganormous surround soundset or whatever instead, than spending it all on a tiny pair of headphones. i'm looking for something far "saner" price-wise. 1 Link to comment

A saner price would be the Sennheiser HD600 or HD650. In a way though the 600 is a little better priced at $400 bucks but it has a flatter EQ then the 650. Though on that topic, if you want audiophile headphones for $300 then go for the V-Moda M-100. 1 Link to comment
