I remember back before season two of Friendship is Magic came out. That was when I enjoyed the fandom the most, and quite honestly that was one of the best times of my life. I'd watch multiple episodes each night, heck, I even memorized one just because of how much I'd watch it. There weren't bronies crawling over every corner of the internet, and it was fun trying to find them. I remember when there was only like, two fan animations out, and they were awesome, because we had never seen any sort of brony work like it. I could talk about ponies on different sites with other bronies without having them start fighting over something stupid. Derpy wasn't worshiped and cried over. People weren't saying "Let's make the show target us" or "it's our show and our ponies". There was even real toleration. Man, I miss those days so badly. I genuinely wish I could revisit those fun, amazing days. Where the fandom was smaller, the people were funner, less whinier, and it was just a good time.

When I first got into ponies I didn't like bronies or the term brony. After my first time watching Call of the Cutie, I loved the cupcakes song. I found the Super Ponybeat version of it, and loved that. The Ponybeats are really what got me into the fandom. Some of the first songs I listened to were FOREVER by General Mumble, Super Ponybeat: Cupcakes, and Avast Fluttershy's Plot (I held out on that a bit because of the name ). I'd stay up until 2 AM listening to Celestia Radio (which I should do again).

It saddens me to remember all this. It really does. I wish I could revisit the past.
