1. The first time I walked into the dealer room, wow, talk about sensory overload!

2. The number one impromptu chant was Fun! Fun! Fun! Also frequently heard were Gak! And Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing On Rainbows! But, surprisingly, no Stomp, stomp, stomp, stompeez!

3. I can’t believe Fluffle Puff is so popular that when her panel was held people had to be turned away.

4. Walking through the convention center with my new Fluttershy plushie was fun. But having to travel through downtown Baltimore with her? Not as much.

5. Because Baltimore is a regular host to Otakon, an anime convention, I thought everyday residents and tourists would pay little attention to the thousands of Bronies in their midst. I was wrong. I was even asked what the deal with all the ponies was when I was taking Fluttershy to my room.

6. I overheard a couple of complaints about having Baltimore as the venue. But hey, at least it wasn’t in Detroit …or Cleveland.

7. I recognized most of the MLP related memes that were seen. The one big exception were the lifelike horse masks a lot of people were wearing. The meaning of this went right over my head.

8. More fans dressed up to honor Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash than any other pony by a significant margin. Yay.

9. On the other hand, Spike was disappointingly underrepresented for a main character.

10. I really hope to go again next year.
