I really thought the friends I had made would last through the whole journey. I was wrong, it seemed.

My first loss was in the battle against Roxie. The Elekid I had found in an immense set of luck was taken out by venoshock. Arin was his name.

It was sad, but nowhere as bad as the next set of loses.

It was the battle with Colress. My team was:

Lance the Dewott.

Jesse Pinkman the Scraggy

Lilly the Petilil

Ace the Tranquil, who recently kicked so much ass at Burgh's gym.

Jared the Herdier.

My awesome little Sewaddle, named Sayaka.

Only Lance and Jared survived.

I took out his first Pokémon with relative ease. But his second Pokémon, Klink, gear grinded the others. 4 deaths from one Pokémon.

It was my fault, really. I didn't have any potions or heals due to poor planning. Maybe they'd still be alive if I had brought some. Though, it does no good dwelling on it, me, Lance, Jared and a Purrloin named Lyra continue on.
