Strange Occurrences

Otter

Something quite strange happened last night. I had thrown my dog outside because she barfed all over my room. About half an hour later, I went to go bring her back inside. When I called her, I did not hear the pitter-patter of little feet. Instead, I heard *whump... whump*, the long stride of a very large creature on the road. It wasn't a deer, nor a moose or an elk, because they are (obviously) quadrupeds. Their footsteps (hoofsteps?) would have sounded more like *whump-whump... whump-whump*. This creature was definitely walking on two legs. It wouldn't have been a bear, because they only stand up when they're pissed, and they won't walk any significant distance standing up like that. I know it wasn't a human, it was far too loud. Also, the strides were far too long to be human. There was about a one second interval between steps. So... what was it? No animal that I've ever heard of walks on two legs (at least around here they don't). Except for Bigfoot, but of course that's just a myth. Right?

Well, no. I don't think Bigfoot is a myth. Call me crazy, but I think that Bigfoot's existence is plausible. Really, all Bigfoot would be is a mountain ape. These mountain apes could simply be extremely rare, making real research of the creature almost impossible. Without such research, these mountain apes may have just gained mythical status.

I actually believe Bigfoot is plausible as well. There is plenty of very little explored land in Canada and Northwestern US, plenty of forest to hide in, especially for a reclusive and shy creature. Plenty of things to eat, as well.

Problems with the idea are, of course, that there is very little evidence to support a breeding population of them, but perhaps it's just because everyone is so skeptical?

I'm not a diehard believer in Bigfoot's existence, I just think we don't know enough to call it either way.

I must admit, I have a very big interest in bigfoot, personally I believe he exists, I mean, why not? As Evilshy said, there is more than plenty of forest to hide in, so the chance to see this creature is rare, sometimes I just think people are too closed minded, simply tossing out the idea that a creature like that could exist, which is crazy.

I would love to encounter the creature, most likely will never happen, but it sure would be interesting.

I'm a bit pissed that I didn't have a flashlight on me at the time. I would have loved to actually see what it was.

I've read enough creepypasta to know that you NEVER want to see what it is. Even if you do.

Yeah, because all creepypasta is totally non-fiction and it isn't just written to be as scary as possible. Nope, it's definitely real life stories from real life people...
