probably battlefield 4..... it had more new things to the table, I also like my games more realistic or fun. COD ghosts was pretty bad I think, the graphics where old and they seem to just have put low effort in compatability and optimalication. (WHY CANNOT THEY  MAKE AN UPDATED VERSON OF WORLD AT WAR! THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!)

It was mostly a recolor of MW3.

Most people I know regrets having bought ghosts, well if people enjoy playing it I don't mind. (It is just my thoughts.)

I don't really play any of them though.

The only thing I can say is what is on the back of the BF4 case. It says, and I quote:

"Frostbite 3 Engine and Battlefield 4 put Call of Duty Ghosts to shame" -IGN

I played both of them and CoD:Ghosts was exactly the same as Black Ops 2 and thus, a disappointment. BF4 made a few wonky changes, but for the better. CoD just made some equipment changes. So I would say BF4.
