In chapter 2 of this fanfic I am writing called Rarity Gets Cockroaches I am going to introduce Rarities new neighbors who are going to be very key characters in the story. Her neighbors aren't ponies, they are actually Diamond Dogs but they are not the same breed of dog as the Diamond Dogs we saw in the show. Their names are Ace, Rocky and Bandit and they are based loosely off of the 3 main characters in the gangster movie The Goodfellas and the parody of them in the Animaniacs cartoon series the Goodfeathers.

 

Ace being the leader is actually the nice guy, he is a fairly tall and slim Golden Retriever who for the most part tends to dress fairly casually and is often seen wearing sunglasses. Rocky is a large, extremely muscular German Shepard who usually wears one of the those muscle shirts and has quite a few tattoos. And I haven't decided on Bandit's breed of dog yet but it is going to a fairly small dog breed, I am leaning toward Chihuahua but if anyone has anything that would suit him a bit better I am open to suggestions. His temper is just as short as him and he is a bit more brutal than the other 2. And lastly there is their "boss" who is based off the Godfather, he is a gruff slightly overweight bulldog that always wears a suit and tie much like alot of mobsters do in the movies. I haven't decided on a name for him yet so any suggestions on that would also be welcome.
