Insane Madly Inlove Shippers?

First off, I'll say I don't care in the slightest who you ship together in a fan fiction or whatever, though there are a few I will not name that I actively avoid due to my moral conscious.

I do not engage in pointless shipping wars, everyone has their own fan fiction (parallel universe) for them. I like shipping, but I'm not gonna take a battle Axe out to defend the shipping I like.

However, I will say shipping yourself with a fictional character doesn't make a good story. Sure it's fine to make an OC very similar to yourself and is kinda you but not obviously you, like has a different name for example. But not to outright make a story where you are yourself, I think it's rather silly to do that.

As for the insane, from another fandom on another site I go, I saw this guy (I have 100% no problem with gay people) who has a crush on the male protagonist (Made many fan fiction of Himself X Protagonist) of the show and never stopped going (even in threads where it wasn't the topic) on and on about how he "loves him, wants to marry and stuff" and hates him being together with her, the woman the protagonist always wanted to be together with and now she has finally returned his feelings making it no longer unrequited love.

He just kept bad mouthing (kinda trolling) everyone who supported the canon shipping and gave pretty much zero out of ten rating out of every new episode just because there was a little romance.

I even tried to say even if the Multiverse is true, it's still very unlikely you'll ever come into contact with your fictional lover with the lack of transdimensional portals lying around.

Eventually, he ended up leaving getting sick of the canon shipping supporters while making an overly dramatic last post about how much the fandom sucks and stuff.

One thing I will say I don't care if your against a canon shipping/anti shipper, but if you constantly go on about it in threads where it's not even meant to be talked about, it gets kinda annoying.

....

So, has anyone come across crazies like this before from other fandoms?

>inb4 every other fandom

But really, a lot of fandoms have ships, and several of them have ships that conflict, and a few of those have ships that people will fight to death over.

It's unavoidable.
