Backstory
He was raised harshly by his parents, who wouldn't accept anything less than perfection from him. Despite this, he struggled with magic at school and was often compared to his peers.
An incident occurred involving kirin fire when he was young, where he lost control and harmed a classmate. He never found out if the foal lived or died. Since then, his negative emotion has been constant, yet he hasn't been able to transform into his nirik form. He intends to prove himself to his family by succeeding outside his hometown.
He is currently on a quest with a band of friendly ponies. Despite fearing the worst of them, he has formed several reluctant friendships.
