in the past Deerie was known as The shadow deer. A shadow creature that would fit in the everfree forest perfectly. She could move as soundless as ever in her shadow form but that power subsided after getting to know her trueself, and no longer being haunted by the terrible past she's had. She can regain this power if she gets triggered enough however. The shadow creature used to roam around dangerous catacombs of the forest hidden deep within the Everfree, quite like a hellhound except a bit more dangerous. In her shadow form her eyes are glowing. She grew up with only her grandma though as her parents couldn't stand to have an odd being like her to be theirs. Her grandma has also had this shadow form so she knew exactly what she's been feeling..
Deerie grew up with her grandmother deep in the everfree forest, being a mix of all kinds of creatures she's never really been accepted into the deer community thus had to be living seperately from them with her grandma. She didn't really mind however, she's always loved the silence of Nature and has always enjoyed being in this forest regardless if it can give you a few good scares.Due to her being a mix of all sorts she's never really been able to get a cutiemark, not that she's missing it but it can often be a bit of a bummer to her.
Deerie is now full grown though and as her grandma passed on she's learned to take care off herself pretty well, she's really gotten into drawing, finding mystical places in the forest and has been attempting to make friends.. though her skills are lacking, she is a strong mare. Her horns are as strong as they can be and can pierce through things easily which often leads to awkward situations.
This grown up Deerie absolutely loves any type of affection even though she might be shy and awkward, She will roll with it.
She currently has a job as housemaid and loves this job very much just as she loves the outfit that comes with it. It might not be the perfect job but it is something that keeps her sane and keeps the shadow form at bay. She's very fond of ponies who show kindness in any form or way and will do her best to repay them with anything she's got for it. Nowadays a few butterflies love to stick around to keep her company in what she does.
Deerie likes:
Her strength, affection of all sorts, blue butterflies, the forest, the scent of rain in the forest.
going for a swim, encountering new things, adventures, flying high up above.
Ribbons to place in her mane, her silly eye marking, being a maid
Overall just having a good time of course.
Deerie dislikes:
Rude/ mean ponies, any form of hate, being treated like a misfit for her looks, being alone in the darkness, getting her horns stuck at stuff, certain types of bugs as she's afraid of them. Thunder, this she believes to be something like the gods fighting. her turning back into the shadow creature.
