  She has a white coat with yellow mane and tail, both fairly wavy. Her eyes are blue.

• Backstory

  Love Bloom is the heiress to a vast fortune, she was born to one of the richest families in Canterlot. She enjoyed the blessing of being able to get anything she wanted, but unlike her parents who looked down on the peasants who work for them, Love Bloom herself felt a sense of great remorse for them. One day, despite the objection of her parents, she left the mansion with a saddle bag full of food. With that, she brought them to the peasants working for her parents. By doing so, she earned her cutie mark. After she realized that helping others was her destiny, the peasants knew that she was different from her parents. In return for her kindness, the peasants joined Love Bloom in convincing her parents to improve labor conditions and improve work morale, to which they were ultimately successful.

  Love Bloom would go on and help not only those that would work for them, but others that need it as well. Thanks to her wealthy background, she helped open up a community center in Canterlot, the first of its kind in the city.

  To date, she still lives in Canterlot, but still loves it there and currently does not plan on moving to another place.

• Personality

  Love Bloom can be a bit shy, but she actually is a very caring pony who treats everyone she meets with care. She is also known to take risks, as she will risk her life going to a dangerous places to help others. She can be rather persistent in doing things, being that once she starts something, she will not stop until the job gets done. She is also known to be naive, thinking that she can accomplish anything, a trait passed down from her parents.

   "Oh? You work here? I see now," Bloom replied as the two made their way toward Luther's personal office. Along the way, she listened she took note of the nervous expression on Hopper's face, noting that he might be nervous of what's to come next, probably Luther, but the earlier mention of a mare leading him out to Cragg's had piqued her interest, "So...this mare....she called you out of here, and on the way to Cragg's, where you got that crate huh, I see." Hearing all this added fuel to the uncertainty of the situation, as Cragg was not to be trusted, whatever was in this crate would most certainly not be welcoming to see.
   The doors to Luther's office gave the appearance of fear, and order. The color and size of it pretty much defined the demeanor of the one behind it, no nonsense, blunt, and strict. Upon arrival, Bloom said "And here we are, do take care around him," before she knocked on the doors. When the word was given, she slowly opened both doors to make way for Hopper.

   "Oh! I'm sure it'll go through these large doors nice, and smooth." Bloom replied as she reached for the doors to the entrance, and making way for the stallion, who introduced himself as Clod Hopper, she continued "And it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Hopper, so you say that this...crate came from...Cragg? Oh Cragg...."
   Upon mentioning Cragg's name, she felt uneasy, knowing very well who Cragg was, and his past dealing with the quarry. Bloom, like the rest who work at Blackwater knew very well about the trouble he and his company were, and that any dealings with him, or anyone associated with him, must be reported to Luther himself, as this was top priority. And speaking of Cragg, that brought Bloom to wonder, is this Clod Hopper working for him?
   She then asked "So, are you working for the Cragg Mining Company? Blackwater company protocol states that all dealings with said company must be reported to Master Luther himself." after stepping inside the mansion, Bloom continued "I will take you to his personal office, please follow me."

   This Stallion, he appeared to be from outside the company, at least to her. But what he had on his back, a crate seemed kind of suspicious in her view. "Now why would the manor be receiving such large delivery, even in a crate?" She asked herself, thinking, "Typically, deliveries to the quarry are packed in crates, I can be wrong about this, but this one came straight to the manor. Well, I guess it might contain materials for Master Luther's research, not too sure about that." She thought.
   The thick accent of the stallion posed a bit of difficulty for her to understand, though after a brief pause to analyze what he just said, she replied "Err..A delivery you say? That depends on who is receiving this...crate, if it's for Master Luther, then you might leave it by his personal office. If it's for Madam Vylia, I will notify one of her personal butlers to carry such crate to her room....Oh yes, might we introduce ourselves? My name is Love Bloom...Bloom for short, and I'm a maid of the Blackwater Manor, A pleasure to be of service, sir." And with that said, she made a bow in common courtesy.

   Right before her destination, the quarry yard lies right before it, she took note of how short the trek was, "As each day passes by, the way around the premises, seem to feel as if they're getting shorter. It probably has to do with familiarizing oneself with the environment, repetitiveness, repeated journeys around your work environment. Well, of course everyone experiences such thing everyday. But since it's repetitive, you'd get tired of it, as it becomes a regular part of your day, adding to the definition of 'mundane', such is work life, but we all get used to it, it's li-" Her thoughts abruptly came to a halt upon capturing a whiff of the conversations by employees as she passed by.
   She did not stop to listen, but she kept moving towards the manor. The words she overheard had piqued her curiosity. "She...now who could that be? A female employee of the mines right...then there's that filly.." In no time, she figured that they might be talking about Silver "Oh, it's Silver huh, and the Filly's Blitz, I see. Now that I think about it, that scream we heard earlier did sound like her, but...that sounded really different...as if...there was...grave sorrow in that voice. Something terrible must have happened, I guess I learn more about this at the manor, news spreads around like wildfire in these parts." She thought as she continued on her way.

   Upon arriving at the doorstep of the manor, Bloom would find a large dark brown pegasus on the way in, he seemed to be carrying a rather heavy crate attached to his back, he looked like it might be too much to carry, so the drive to assist came naturally, as it was her job after all. She then approached the pegasai, and asked "Sir, do you require assistance? That crate err...seems rather heavy..."

   When Bloom reached the graveyard, she then came to a halt, then looked around for the statue that had interacted with her earlier. For sure, the looks of this particular one was ingrained onto her memory, especially when it had came alive right in front of her eyes, It did not take long till she found the grave with that statue. Almost imediately, she took note of the grave, noting its age, and how it withstood time, and the elements to retain such impressive form. It did made her ponder, was such statue treated with magic to maintain its form? But beneath all that splendor, were carvings of words that had aged very much, with a weathered look much opposite to the statue that rested upon it. Despite that, it was still legible enough to read.
   Upon reading the name "Chisel Black", Bloom immediately remembered who she was, thanks to Dax' "lectures" on Blackwater family history "Chisel..Black..Master Sculptor....AD... Ohhh...Now I remember! She was the one that sculpted the Two Sisters...but..it's quite sad that she passed not long after that. The thought of you creating your own headstones, or all these headstones, is unsettling. Well, at least that confirms that the two statues long existed before Horace," After that thought, the words suddenly seemed to glow, before it brought a feeling of relief to her, it was that kind of feeling of satisfaction, something that felt like she did a good deed, whatever that was, she felt refreshed. After a brief pause, Bloom then said, "Though, if you're thanking me for cleaning up back there, well...I should thank you for showing me such a marvelous work of art. You can pretty much say that was mutual for sure." She then smiled.
   Taking note of her surroundings in the graveyard, Bloom no longer felt frightened, but felt at peace, though, that was short lived when she remembered that she had to go back to the manor. "Well, thank you, I best be returning now," She said, before leaving the area in a slow canter.

   Bloom's guess on the next statue proved to be correct, as it reveals itself to be that of Princess Celestia. Like Luna, it was a sight to behold. She thought, of all the statues that sit on Blackwater property, why was it that these two were neglected for the overgrowth to grow upon? Such works of art would be a waste if they were to not be seen, and left to the elements to crumble. Were they not to be forgotten, they would make a fine display to visitors of Blackwater. "Shame, these both would prove to be popular to guests, of all the statues here, why these two? Why would they be neglected?" She thought, before she thought about the history of Blackwater, not long before it ringed a bell, "Hmm, could this.." And then the thought of Horace Blackwater came back to her, "Uhh...Horace? I remember that he refused to claim responsibility for deaths caused by his brewed product. Then that's when Celestia barred the Blackwaters from entering Canterlot...so I guess in response, he probably forgot about these statues for the overgrowth to take over. Though, that can be the case if these have existed around his time."
   She then thought about the sculptor of the two, "Okay, so did this sculptor exist around or before the time of Horace? Err...how would I find out?" She then thought about the statue back at Blackwater Ridge, the one that came up to her "Ah yes, that was the one that requested I clear this growth, wait...could that....could she be the one? Or could she have any relation to the one that sculpted these masterpieces? Err...I guess there's one way to find out," Bloom then turned around to the path back to Blackwater Ridge, then set off to search for answers on that gravestone. "I probably should return to the Manor, but a little glimpse into history won't hurt now, will it?" She thought, as she galloped on her way there.

   While ridding the statue from the vines and overgrowth, Bloom took note that this one was taller than the other ones in the area, she then stopped to take a look around the area to find a similar statue, it too was covered in vines. "Okay, who could that be? Hmm, well a request is a request, guess I'll have to take care of that too." She thought, before continuing. Upon closer inspection, she noticed that this statue not only had wings, but a horn as well. It also sported a long, flowing mane, and it was striking a regal pose, all this baffled her, "Wait, I've seen this before, where could I have- Oh....That's no Blackwater....that's.." She thought before noticing the engraved cutie mark on the sculpture, now free of the vines. "P-Princess Luna!" She exclaimed, as she gazed at the detailed statue of the princess.
   She then turned her attention to the other statue, which Bloom thought was safe to assume to be of Princess Celestia, "So that must be Princess Celestia correct? Well, here I go again with the vines. This isn't my kind of thing in my line of work, but to see such spectacle is a wondrous experience." And with that thought, she approached the other statue to do the same thing she had done to the statue of Princess Luna.

   While heading down the path the statue pointed out, Bloom realized that this particular path either would lead back to the manor, or back to the way to Pitch Point, where they originally came from. Feeling pressured about finding the others, she thought about galloping her way through, but then remembered the request the statue made. Were she to ignore it, would be an insult to the code of the maid, and perhaps an insult to herself. Even if it came from an unlikely source within the premises, it was still a request, so she will have to fulfill it. Another thought that came up was why the statue had chosen her to carry out such task, might be because she was a maid who just happened to be in the area at the right time. Either that, or it could be her destiny to do so, but the latter seems highly unlikely to her.
   Once she reached the overgrown statue, she cleared the vines with care, "Hmm, wonder who was buried here? Only one way to find out. Err.... maybe there was a reason why I was told to come here, not just to clear this stuff away, but maybe it wanted to show me something, not too sure about it, but I'll find out soon enough," She thought.

   Bloom expected to be struck, but was astonished to see that the statue came to a halt right in front of her. "Huh? Did that do it? What happened?" She thought, before observing the statue point towards a canopy of forest, and in it, was jut of carved stone, that appears to be poking out of a mix of thick vines and other wild overgrowth, "There? Err...how may I help with that?" She spoke, before remembering one of the many tales of Master Daxter, and the distinguished statespony, Illiad Easle of Troy, when he visited the manor.  She recalled the time where the two had ventured out into that same area before. In almost an instant, she knew what was there.
   "The statue of a relative, I remember now," Bloom spoke, right before the statue brought it's hoof down, then seemingly stared at her, before it drew its hoof back and forth on the ground to spell a single word.
   "Clear? Oh I see, you would like me to clear that overgrowth on that statue correct?" Bloom said, figuring out what it wants her to do, then the the statue stared at her again, before returning to the same place it rested on. "Alright, I can take care of that," She said, before she left for the statue.

    Although her feelings of insecurity were abating, Bloom still felt mostly terrified just by standing inside the pitch black cemetery. The sight of stone statues, perched atop the tombstones of departed Blackwaters, did nothing but add to fuel to her terrified self. The statues, carved with great detail, looked very much as if they were alive. Of course, they were made of stone, so they were not supposed to move at all. "These all look too real to me, it's as if they were alive, so much that it actually seems creepy." She thought,
    Then, she looked ahead and spotted a peculiar statue of a mare. She knew that it was just a statue, but this one seemed to be oddly alive, turning its' head towards her. Such sight sent chills towards Bloom, "Did that....turn towards me? I mean, it's a statue isn't it? It didn't just....turn it's head now did it?" She then observed it to blink several times, before it came alive right before her eyes, and stepped down towards her, coupled with the sounds of grinding stone, combined for a terrifying scene. "W-What in the world...is this!?" She thought as if she was about to panic, and make a run for it.
    At the same time, her conscience is telling her that this "statue" of a mare might seem lost. Though, with a terrified feeling, it was hard to consider, but she thought that it would not be right to just run away without getting to the root of a problem, and that it may not be as it seems. But due to the dubious nature of the situation, she would have to be very cautious about it. Taking that into consideration, she began, mustering all her courage, "P-pardon me, you seem..to be lost, or you might be looking for something? H-how can I be of service?"

   THE GROUNDS; Inner Yard
    
   "Arrite, alla you lugs line up!"
    
   Chuck List watched as the new workers took their places in line.  He wasn't looking forward to anypony new coming onto the job, but then again he never was.  Long as they do their jobs, I won't give a fizz, he thought.
    
   "You!  Y'look strong an' stuff... you'll be first inta th' mines.  Try not ta get yerself buried, and you'll be arrite.  G'wan - move yer flank!"
    
   The first pony in line gave a bit of a start, then trotted into the mine shaft.
    
   Little by little, each pony was given their work detail, then sent along into the caverns.  Working for the Blackwaters paid well... if you could stomach the attitudes, that is.
    
   Another stallion wandered up to Chuck, and looked over his shoulder at the list on the clipboard.  Chuck frowned, and addressed him without even looking up.
    
   "Y'got sumpthin' ta say, Redd, den sayyit.  I ain't got all day, y'know."
    
   Redd Handid gave Chuck a cold stare, then twisted his mouth into a grin.
    
   "Well, you could be a bit more personable, Chuck.  After all, we're supposed to be doing this together, aren't we?"  He smiled smugly.
    
   Chuck turned to give him the slightest of glances.  "All you want is da creddit, ya creep.  You was supposed ta be here hours ago, Redd - and y'wasn't.  S'okay tho'," he gave Redd a grin of his own, "you c'n take da cleanup crew down an' give DEM a hoof."
    
   Redd bristled at the idea.  "YOU, Chuck, are a class A heel, do you know that?"
    
   "I ain't bein' paid ta be all nicey-wicey.  Now move yer flank, Redd; dey's waitin' for ya."
    
   Redd scowled... but went to the supply cart and grabbed the cleaning supply pack.  He turned to head over to the cleanup crew's meeting spot.
    
   When I get my promotion, Chuck - YOU'LL be doing the cleaning up around here, I PROMISE you that.

   THE QUARRY; The Lunch Trailer
    
   The sun shone off the pile of special horseshoes lying on the nearby picnic table.  There was a unicorn seated there, inspecting each one carefully, a magnifying glass hovering in front of her, surrounded by a magical aura.
    
   "Good... good... good... good... goo- uh-oh."
    
   She moved the glass and eyeballed the particular shoe in question.  It seemed perfect, but Silver Studs was a perfectionist - and it wasn't perfect, at least by her standards.  She magically tossed the shoe into the nearby garbage barrel, and turned back to her work.
    
   "Okay, good... good... good... good..."
    
   Behind the lunch trailer, a purple stallion's head poked around the corner.  C'mon, c'mon... you'll find it soon...
    
   Silver kept examining horseshoes until she came across one that had a black stripe down the very middle of it.  She quirked an eyebrow, then moved the glass closer to get a better look...
    
   That's the one... just a bit... more...
    
   The sunlight coming through the magnifying glass touched the black stripe, and it suddenly burst into a quick flame with a small WHOOF sound.  Silver gave a squeak, and dropped it as she backpedaled over the bench and onto the ground.
    
   Braying laughter echoed from behind the trailer, and Silver instantly knew what was going on.
    
   "SLAPPER!"
    
   Knee Slapper came out from his hiding place, laughing so hard he was crying.
    
   "Oh Silver... HA HA HAAAA - th-th-the look... on your FACE... HA HA HA HAAAA!"
    
   Silver just stared daggers at the laughing forepony.  "I have told you, time and again, that gunpowder is NOT something to play with!  I could have been seriously hurt!"
    
   Slapper's laughter subsided, and he wiped the tears from his eyes.  "Awh, c'mon now - you gotta admit, you were bored out of your mind doing that stuff... and besides, it was FUNNY, right?"
    
   Silver regarded him angrily for a moment... then gave a sigh and started to giggle a bit herself.
    
   "Okay, yes yes... you got me, Slapper.  I'm at least glad to see you were listening when I told you about what ratios of powder to use.  Look, you can't do that again, do you understand?"
    
   The smile on her face grew a little wider.
    
   "Unless you promise to use it on Redd, somehow."
    
   Slapper gave a chuckle over this thought, and tipped Silver a wink.
    
   "Now, would I do something like that, Silver?"
    
   The two of them looked at each other, then both burst out into gales of laughter.

   THE GROUNDS; Outer Yard
    
    
   "That's a BIG package, Taps..."  Dax said as he eyed the parcel on the push-cart.  It was BIG, alright.  And bulky.  And BIG.
    
   Taps, however, seemed to have no problems at all pushing it across the warehouse floor.  She didn't even seem to be struggling with it; she just pushed it along, easy as a breeze.  She got it into the corner of the warehouse, then trotted her way out of there, closing the doors behind her.
    
   "So... what's in it?  Do you know?"
    
   Taps regarded Dax Blackwater for a moment.  The stallion was black with green stripes, and he wasn't exactly bad-looking... but he was a Blackwater, albeit the nice one - she didn't want anything to do with any of the rest of his family.  Dax, however, was a good fellow... most of the other workers regarded him as the 'resident loser', but Taps had always had a soft spot for him.
    
   She shrugged at his question, although she was WELL aware of what was in the package.  She just figured that the fewer ponies who knew, the better.  Still, she couldn't help but think this was going to be a bad idea... but she was just the mail pony, technically speaking.  
    
   Dax looked back at the warehouse, then sighed and looked at the ground.
    
   "It's something Father ordered, I'll bet... which means I gotta keep my hooves off, I suppose."  He sighed, and idly kicked a rock away.
    
   Taps simply shook her head, and gave Dax a pat on the back.  He looked up and offered a weak smile, which she returned.  Turning, they walked away from the warehouse together.
    
   ... but Dax gave it one more glance over his shoulder before he was out of sight.
