• Physical Description

  Nightmare Shiny is a full grown alicorn with a white coat and magically floating mane and tail with the appearance of a silver and icy blue starry sky. Her fangs are sharp and her eyes are completely black, except for her irises which are white and glowing but also line-shaped, like those of a cat. She also has a pair of translucent silver wings on her back. The cutie mark of Shiny Silvermoon remains the same when she morphs into Nightmare Shiny : A silver and icy blue cutie mark representing a crescent moon and a two-tailed shooting star. The last but not the least, when Shiny Silvermoon becomes Nightmare Shiny, the Medaillon of Night turns into an entire armor, like the one of Nightmare Moon.

• Backstory

  During the epic battle that took place at the end of the World Cup 2023, Nightmare Moon, on the side of the Team Moon and the Friendship School, fought against Carneilan, the leader of the Tartarus, in attempt to ruin the evil plans of the Tartarus. Misfortunately, having the power of Grogar's Bell in her possession, Carneilan was too powerful for Nightmare Moon.

  After the defeat of Nightmare Moon, Shiny Silvermoon came to her rescue and, by doing so, she received a piece of her armor. By wearing the piece of Nightmare Moon's armor, Shiny turned into Nightmare Shiny which made her powerful enough to defeat the evil forces of the Tartarus, with the help of her friends. Her magic was so strong that she was even able to destroy a giant meteor with it! Well, Nightmare Shiny had the help of Ghostie and was also boosted by the power of friendship but those are just minor details!

  Sadly, after the victory of the Team Moon and the Friendship School, Shiny had to turn back into her original form by giving back the piece of armor to Nightmare Moon. However, as a reward for helping her, Nightmare Moon gave to Shiny Silvermoon a silver medaillon, the Medaillon of Night, which allows her to become Nightmare Shiny when she desires it.

• Personality

  Unlike what one could expect, Shiny Silvermoon has the complete control of herself when she becomes Nightmare Shiny. Her personality is only slightly affected by her new form which causes her to behave like a villain while being extremely wholesome and harmless. This new trait is extremely funny and cute to witness but, aside from it, Nightmare Shiny has the same personality as Shiny Silvermoon. She suffers from anxiety but making others laugh always cheers her up. She can act silly without even trying. However, Nightmare Shiny can be extremely serious when it's needed. She is empathic as well. In facts, kindness is one of her biggest traits of personality.

• Likes

  The moon, being the greatest villain in Equestrian history, croissants, humor, having fun, kindness, helping others, comforting others, hugs, magic, philosophy, comics, mangas, breaking the 4th wall and references.

• Dislikes

  Boredom, anxiety, rudeness, immorality, narrow-minds, ponies who think that she isn't a great villain and sunlight/daytime since it decreases the power of her magic up to 50%.

• Magic Spells

  The incredibly strong magic that Shiny has access to when she is Nightmare Shiny allows her to perform a countless number of powerful spells. However, she can't do a complexe spell if she didn't learn it first.

• Abilities

  Nightmare Shiny is so powerful that she is able to move the Moon with her magic. However, she needs to be at more than 50% of her power (so not during daytime). She can also get inside other's nightmares.

   Nightmare Shiny's Campfire Stories

   As the campfire was starting to die slowly, Nightmare Shiny spoke again to her audience, still with a smile showing her sharp fangs.
   "A pack of werewolves terrorizing a family, a cursed valley that kills those who dare to enter it and a neurosurgeon who stole the past and the futur of somepony. After hearing those 3 horrifying but true strories, you might ask yourself if science can really explain everything and, in the case of science itself, if it could be even worst than witchcraft sometimes. Perhaps one day, we will find answers to those questions but, until then, you should consider leaving before the fire dies completely. It's already late and who knows what is lurking in the darkness of the Everfree Forest..."
   While the group was leaving with the unsettling feeling of being watched, they all heard an evil laugh coming from the camp in which the alicorn was still. It was loud enough to resonate in the entire forest and ended up with a short sentence. Just a few words... 
   
   "HAPPY NIGHTMARE NIGHT!!!"

   Nightmare Shiny's Campfire Stories

   October 28, 2023

   As the sun set, the moon rose, in Equestria. The bright light of the sun passing the baton to the smooth light of the full moon, everything went pitch black outside. Everything, except a cozy brightness in the middle of the Everfree Forest. Only those who were curious or brave enough to enter the forest, guided by the mysterious orange light, discovered it's origin. If you are one of them, then what you found is a campfire surrounded by the sounds of the night but also by several tree trunks, placed there with the purpose of being seats. On one of those trunks, Shiny Silvermoon was witnessing the dancing flames and listening to the crackling they were making. When she saw the group approaching the campfire, the unicorn left her seat to greet them.
   With a reassuring smile she said "Don't be afraid! Come and sit near the fire with me! Otherwise you might get cold..."
   After inviting them to join her, Shiny added "I was waiting for you to start telling the first of my three scary stories. However, I must warn you that they are all true stories from a world where live creatures called "Humans"... So, if you prefers to leave, there is no shame. You can leave whenever you begin to feel uncomfortable."
   Now that everypony was warned, the mare continued "Nightmare Night is a very special night. Can you feel the fear of the fillies wearing costumes in order to have candies? Can you feel the fear in the air? Tonight, I am not Shiny Silvermoon... Tonight, I am... Nightmare Shiny."
   She then posed a hoof on the Medallion of Night that was around her neck which activated it. By activating her medallion, Shiny Silvermoon felt an incredible source of power unlocks itself inside her heart. Then, her body began to change with this new rise of magic.
   The mane and the tail of the unicorn began to magically float and transphased into a silver and icy blue starry sky. After that, her cutie mark began to shine slightly and a pair of translucent silver wings appeared on her back. Suddenly, the eyes of Shiny shifted black completely except for her irises which were now white and glowing but also reshaped into lines, like a cat. Her whole body started to grow until it reached the size of a full grown alicorn, like Celestia. Then, sharp fangs appeared in the mare's mouth. To complete the transition, the medallion gradually remodeled itself into an entire armor, like the one of Nightmare Moon.
   She wasn't just Shiny anymore, she was Nightmare Shiny!
   
   "Now, let's begin! Shall we?" Said Nightmare Shiny with her smile now revealing a set of sharp fangs.

   Hey, everypony!
   This is Misty Brightdawn, wanting to wish you all a Happy October!
   I hope that everypony's been having a great Fall season, so far!  
   The weather has been getting a little chilly, but seeing all the leaves change color is so pretty!
   Given that it's October and Fall, that means more time to jump into leaves and to have fun hanging out with friends! 
   Especially with Nightmare Night right around the corner, the time is come to dress up into amazing costumes and go out trick or treating with friends!
   If there's times where one might not go trick or treating, there's still awesome things to do at home! 
   One thing I like to do is have a sleepover hangout with friends. Especially if it's a Unicorn sleepover party!
   However, it's not just about the fun and the things to do in regards to celebrate Fall or October. 
   October is also the time that Generation five is to come to a close.
   It's very disheartening that our adventures are about to become complete, but I don't think it should get us down. 
   When I was taken in and ordered around by Opaline, I felt that maybe my adventures and possibilities had come to an end.
   It wasn't until I got to know Sunny and the others that I understood what true friendship was. 
   It was thanks to them that I found my true friends, I found my father, Alphabittle, even having Queen Haven as a mother and Pipp and Zipp as my new sisters!
   It's like the old saying goes. "Don't feel sad that it's over. Be happy that it happened." 
   When one adventure ends, a whole new adventure is just waiting to begin.
   That's why I want to make October a time of having spooky fun, as well as a time to make a difference. 
   There shall be some events for everyone to take part in! 
   Here's to an amazing October and many more fall fun and memories, everypony!

   **As the Nightmare Night Festivities were filled with screams of fear and delight, I looked up to see Luna's Moon glowing brilliantly among the many stars. Looking back down after admiring the momentary view, I soon come across a small group of Nightmare Night goers**
   Oh! Oh, hello. It seems that you've all come for the tour. Normally, Zecora would be here to bring you into the forest. To lead you down the path towards the Nightmare Moon statue, while telling of all the tales that this holiday has to offer.
   However, it seems that Zecora was a bit preoccupied. Not to worry as I have taken up the role as your Nightmare Night guide. I was tasked with this mission to guide a group of ponies young and old, into the Everfree Forest itself. To the Nightmare Night statue was not our destination, but to a different place altogether.
   **I say, presenting the group in my costume as a ninja**
   If you wish to proceed, then please follow me. Stay close as it can be pretty dark within the forest. Join me and you shall meet a friend, but spooky, yet exciting stories are still just ahead.
   **I say, lighting my horn in an illumination spell. The glowing hum of orange magic illumination the darkness before the crowd and I. As we begin our trek through the Everfree Forest towards our intended destination.**
