For Undertale, I've only played it on PC. For Deltarune I started on PC, but I had some problems with my old laptop and it had to be replaced in the end, so I got Deltarune on my Switch to start a fresh save file, and that's probably how I'll continue to play it from now on, on the Switch/Switch 2

As the title says, what platform do you play Undertale and/or Deltarune on? I personally play on Mac, but I'm excited to know what platforms everyone else says on!

That's amazing!! I understand why Deltarune seems like a fangame, but in my opinon it's MUCH better than Undertale. I've finished Deltarune and started Undertale (yes, I went out of order, I didn't want to pay lol), and I cannot tell you how addicted I was to Deltarune. SPOILER: DO NOT READ THIS NEXT PART UNLESS YOU HAVE FINISHED CHAPTER 2 OF DELTARUNE OR WANT IT TO BE SPOILED: That's fascinating!! I can see why both seem like horror games, but once you give them a shot they appeal to every single kind of person. Toby has officially confirmed that Deltarune Chapter 3 (and possibly 4) will be released this year, and some think that the official paid version will be released and the Demo will continue to support only Chapters 1 and 2. I also read somewhere that it's going to be $20 USD, althought I'm not sure on that as well.

The first time I saw someone on youtube playing Undertale, I thought it was actually a horror game. It was the part right after you exit the ruins and end up in a snowy wooded area, being followed by something and a shadowy figure starts to creep up behind you. Little did I know that it was the funny bone man I'd been seeing images of for weeks by that point. I finally got context when I played it myself months later and loved every second of it. As for Deltarune, I was told by a friend that it was Toby's next official game and couldn't wait to download it, way back when it was still known as "Survey Program" (imo, when Deltarune is finished, I think I'll love it more than Undertale which I already love)

Just wanting to get to know the other members of the club! I'll go first: I was probably around 9-10 years old when my sister was telling me about this new game all her friends at school were playing on their school laptops. At that point in time in our middle school it was common for kids to pirate games (NOT CONDONING btw, pls support game devs, especially indie devs), download them to flash drives, and pass them around to each other so they could all play. My favorite thing in the world was to watch her play these games, so when she brought home Undertale and told me how cool it was, I was really excited. Every night after our parents went to bed (we'd get in trouble if they found out she was not only pirating but playing on her school laptop), we would sit at her desk and I'd watch her play. It's a really nostalgic memory for me and I think it's why I latched on so hard to the game. As for Deltarune, I actually thought it was a fangame at first, so I didn't really seek it out since I didn't really play a lot of fangames. I eventually did realize it was official though and played both chapters.

Hi everyone! As you probably guessed, this club is dedicated to the roleplay games Undertale and Deltarune. Even though I wouldn't consider myself fit to make this club (I am still fighting Giga Queen in DT Chapter 2 and haven't even started Undertale), I felt that it should exist considering how great of a game it is. For those of you who don't know, Undertale and Deltarune are episodic, role-play games, in which you control a character and fight mobs with other players in fantastical worlds. Even though I used to HATE episodic games, I eventually tried out Deltarune since a bunch of people were begging me to. I absolutely loved it, and I started sweating it. I even ended up buying Undertale for the full-price, even though I tend to be extremely restrictive when buying games. I would highly recommend that all of you give Undertale a shot (since it comes first in the sequel), but if you aren't willing to pay just yet, you can start with Deltarune like me You're free to share screenshots, memes, and anything you'd like here! I can't wait to meet you, fellow gamers!
