  1. @, @@Suitaloo

"You can't kill the Guardians. Just trust me and run." Jeremy said to temn Dex's attacks would be useless against the Guardian. Jeremy then heard his phone ring. Lookng at the caller id, he saw that it was Arti. He calmed down and tried not to rltransmit any panic in his voice. "Hello? This is Jeremy Belpois speaking."

    @@Secret Person

"Oh hello Jeremy, it's Arti. I was wondering if you knew where Katie is, because somebody, I think her brother, is looking for her."

Arti looked from the phone for a moment, "Okay, this should tell us..."

"Also, Jeremy, do tell me if anything bad is happening, i don;t want to suddenly be chased down by a twister."

  2. Ben smiled as the boy pulled out his phone, he was a master at getting information from people. "So you are doing something illegal, good to know. It's probably super dangerous too. Calling your ring leader are you?" He gave his 'aren't I a little stinker' grin, and held his hand out for the phone.

Arti grinned back, "No, just a guy I don;t trust but you, sister? seems to have warmed up too already. And no, this isn;t a crime thing, that'd look bad on my record when i'm trying to talk about my ideology.

Meanwhile, the phone was ringing... I think? I wish I knew how to do the @ thing to be sure.

  3. Ben frowned, this boy was doing his best to avoid his questions, but he shrugged, "Well, you seem to know her, mind if I bum around with you for a bit. I just enrolled and I lack a dorm room as of yet." He decided to test something, with a sly smile he said, "unless you think I'm a cop." He watched the boys stance, what exactly was dear sweet Katie up to this time? @@Secret Person

Arti watched the guy as he said something about being a cop, "Okay, your probably not a cop, that've blown your cover..."

Arti looked around for a moment as he pulled out his cell, "I''l tell yah what, let me call This guy i know, I think she may be with him, because I am beginning to believe you."

As he typed in the number, he added "By the way, this has nothing to do with drugs if you think that, sur I think they should be legal, but, ew..."

With that, Arti called Jeremy through his phone.

  4. "Wow, OK, you have secrets." Ben shook his head, whoever this boy was he was covering for Katie, badly covering. "Call me up I'll give you lying lessons sometime. I'm not even sure I want to know what you guys are up to, but if you want to tell me, I'll keep my mouth shut. If not than offer me this, on a scale of  homework to weeping angles, how dire is the situation?" @@Secret Person,

Arti looked over the guys stance, he didn't seem professional, "Well, I guess you seem to know her, but i'll leave it up to her to tell you or not. Just try calling her up or something..."

Arti thought for a moment, "And I will say, it involves some freaky situations, though I personally cannot grasp the true form of it."

  5. "Well, I wouldn't know if you talked to her at lunch, but I assume, if she was debating" Ben saw that the boy looked nervous, "It was probably her. She didn't rough ya up too bad did she? Once she got in a debate with my mom and there was some literal table flipping, don't start a fight with that chick trust me." He laughed heartily, "you working with her on a school project? I'm with her on a plan for world domination, don't tell anypony, but it involves rainbows." He grinned as he said the last sentience and he took a swig of his coffee. "So, have you seen her?"

Arti blinked a few times, "Did he just say... anypony...? What?"

He then shook his head, "Well, no she didn't rough me up, it was pretty civil. But, the thing i'm working with her on... oh... yes of course! School project! What else would it be?"

"Wow, I'm botching this up if he is a government agent... Wait! I know how to tell if he is, because despite the fact I actually know nothing about her family... "

"So... has she talked to you online or over the phone about... fire, or, ghosts and computers, crazy stuff like that?

  6.                 “Her name is Katie,” Ben grinned up at the lady behind the receptionist desk, “Katie Granger, 11th grade, lives in one of these dorms…”

The receptionist scowled at the boy, the boy didn’t look dangerous, what with his bushy brown hair and big blue eyes, but she didn’t want to take any chances. “I told you, if you want her information you have to prove you know her, I can’t give away information to just anybody.”

“Well I tried calling her, but the call dropped!” Ben protested. “Really I know her!”

“I can’t disclose that information to you, now out with you kid or I’ll call the guards.

Defeated, Ben walked away, grumbling under his breath. He made his way into the court yard, hoping he’d see Katie somewhere. The yard was emptier than he had hoped, a bundle of kids sat about the grass and picnic tables eating muffins and lounging, but none who he wanted to see. He settled with buying a coffee from the vending machine and finding someone to converse with. He sought out a target and found a boy wondering about the yard, he had a peculiar getup, a long trench coat.

“He looks interesting.” Ben said to himself so only he could hear, he walked up to the boy, “Sup dude, nice trench coat. Hey you wouldn’t happen to know a girl named Katie would you? Short, insane, Seattleite, black  hair, likes politics?” @@Secret Person,

"Katie? you mean the fi- I-I mean, girl i talked with at lunch?" Arti looked around slightly awkwardly, "Sort of, we did have a bit of a debate, and You could say we may be working together...

"Who is this?" he thought, "Oh jeez, I just thought... please don't be a government spy, or Chinese spy... or American CIA agent... I don't feel like getting tortured in Guantanamo today."

Arti then gave a slightly nervous smile.

  7. The last day or however much time has passed had been more quiet for Arti, mostly because he was trying to get into the mood of the school schedule, while balancing online research of things about the supercalculator (Which was futile).

Now he had just recently got out of class, he was enjoying most of them, but he still wasn't sure about this Lyoko. "It can spy on us more prominently than the NSA, and take over electronic and organisms... ugh, I wish I never knew this thing existence, stupid paranoia!!!"

He trudged through the campus towards the dorms where his trench coat over a more scholastic uniform, still wearing his trilby on top. "Maybe I should call up some of the others, like that Dex guy, or Minx, to see if about how things are going at the factory."

  8. Um... I honestly don't know. You all have very diverse writing styles, and I wouldn't want to throw the burden on anyone who didn't really want it.

    @

Like I said, I was thinking it'd work better if we switch around based on who is going to be online more for the XANA attack of the time. That and I don;t think we should mess with him when something crazy isn't happening, just acting like he is being in the normal school day.

  9. Actually, that would be awesome! Would you allow one of us to take him on as a second character? You would be able to claim him back at any time or start to pick up writing him at any time.

Go ahead! You have my full permission to do as you guys want with him!

It certainly would make rejoining easier if I ever found the drive.

    @

I think playing him down (not getting into his backstory and feelings too much), but bringing him along and trading control between us would be fun.

  10. @

I think studying up on the super computer sounds good but you'll have to ask @TheLineTrotter for an excuse about Vincent.

Myes, I just figured considering TheLineTrotter's character, Minx, and Mine where the ones that got to know each other earleir, that'd work.

Just write him into a normal school day, that's what the kids were supposed to be doing. Pick up at the end of the day or maybe at lunch and have him worry about where his friends were.

Yes, I was also thinking of having him paranoid though, because who wouldn't be paranoid?

Also, what was the last X.A.N.A. attack like?

  11. Well, as a plot excuse, should I say Arti was sick, visiting family, or too creeped out by the Supercalculator and studying up on it on his own? Because I'm thinking over how to have him re communicate with the story. (I could also mention an excuse for Vincent not being in the Rp.)

  12. I'll give credit to the writers for capturing the essence of old-timey snake-oil salesmen - back before the FDA and other agencies that regulated the medical industry, people were basically free to sell whatever they wanted as magic "cure-alls" - no instructions, no dosages, no nothing.  The people who bought into those scams back then were just as gullible as the ponies in Ponyville were here.  Flim and Flam actually executed their parts perfectly, in that they were excellent song-and-dance salesponies who enraptured the crowd enough to convince them to buy their product with the fake proof they offered.

In many ways, Ponyville has been portrayed as being at least partially set back about 100-150 years from modern times (though there are obviously some exceptions to that).  So I don't find it terribly surprising that ponies would lack these sorts of regulations that you and I take for granted.

And, you know, such snake-oil salesmen still exist today - peddling shoddy products that claim to cure large numbers of ailments without need for FDA approval.  So this sort of scam is still alive and well.

    .

"And, you know, such snake-oil salesmen still exist today - peddling shoddy products that claim to cure large numbers of ailments without need for FDA approval.  So this sort of scam is still alive and well."

Wow, the FDA is so good at it's job in that case.  >_>

On topic, I liked the episode a lot, it's morale was good.

  13. Everyone, I`m sorry to do this, but I believe i`m going to have to drop this roleplay. This is something I deeply regret, as I was very enthusiastic about it and you all are amazing roleplayers. Please note that my leaving has nothing to do with any of you, as it was wonderful working with you.

However, for awhile now I shall be very busy and, for reasons I myself am not sure of, I cannot find the time, energy, or creativity to reply to this RP. It is a shame, as I was deeply enjoying it and have several ideas in mind for the future... but if I can't get the energy to write a single post, than they are for naught.

I apologize again. I hope to roleplay with all of you again some day, as it was great working with all of you.

Sorry too see you leave, but it was great. Like the others aid, you can always come back.

  14. "A classified job huh? Hmmm. How are you Minx?" Odd would ponder what Jeremy's job was later.

"I'm good. Weak, but good." Minx answered.

    @@Secret Person, @

Jeremy walked out the hospital but stopped when he saw that Katie wasn't by his side. He went back in and found her with Arti. "Arti? I thought ... nevemind. Do you want me to take you back to the school? Jeremy asked him.

Arti shrugged, "Sure, I guess. I was planning on going to the factory before, yes. But now I'm too deep in paranoid thought, so my subconscious would drie me nuts if I got near one of those scanners again."

"But yes, it'd be nice if you took me back there, otherwise, i'll keep in contact."
