  1. @@~Chaotic Eddie~, "Yeah, that's true. Need to spec it for my style, and Rainbow Dash is all about style." Dash boasted, keeping up her boastful exterior, trying to hide her uncertainty and her fears. She had to be strong for everypony. She had to be the hero they needed her to be if she was that important.
  2. @@~Chaotic Eddie~, "Gotta shower first, Sweets, but yeah, I'm comin' with. Say, uh, got any spare armour sets? Mine is pretty banged up after the battle then the trek here." Dash said, pointing out the terrible condition her armour was in. She might be able to fix it with parts, but she wasn't a tech and it'd just be easier to get a new suit anyway. Wrench seemed busy enough with the Titans.
  3. "And with that mind-destroyingly frustrating-" A brief jump-cut flashed to Alex forcing on a smile after playing the first two nights of FNAF 1 and making an attempt on the third. "Lovely genius game... I'm officially done here. If you liked this video, click like. If you want to see more of AJVoiceOvers, don't hesitate to subscribe. I'm AJ from AJVoiceOvers, signing off. Bang..." With his outro done, he ended the recording mode. He felt awful after playing Five Nights at Freddy's, though as annoyed as he was towards the people who continually suggested he play it, he couldn't quite hate them. For one, it would require he acknowledge they were responsible for shaving yet more years off his life and some likely suggested it because they thought he'd like it. Then there were the comments on YouTube and other forums his fans sent him about people saying they liked him better when he covered certain games that he no longer played. But such was life, he was making a bit of money off YouTube, though he hadn't quite gotten there yet. What was most pressing was this scroll with a key that would be arriving this afternoon. Alex was skeptical, of course, refusing to believe the first scroll was real until he saw this key and a good explanation to go with it. After a while of nothing, Alex started to edit his video, taking out chunks where nothing happened and he wasn't saying anything, as well as many of his repeated deaths. Then, in a puff of smoke, the key and scroll appeared for Alex as well, landing on the bed with a soft thud. He turned to look at these things, staring in disbelief as he went to inspect them. "What in the world..."
  4. @@~Chaotic Eddie~, Dash nodded. Being introduced to the team seemed like a reasonable step. She couldn't really expect them to follow somepony they didn't know. She wouldn't follow somepony she didn't know, either. The last part caught Dash off guard. "What's that, Spitfire?" She asked, curious as to what exactly Spitfire intended to do now that Dash was on board.
  5. @@Hypn0ticD, @@GeneralDirection, @@Derplight Sperkle, Pinkie woke up early, setting to her planning with the excitement and eagerness of a mad scientist. She was determined to make this the biggest and best party the Humans had ever seen. Perhaps they'd tell their friends back in the human world what a Pinkie Party is really like. After all, there's only so much that TV show could really say about them, especially Pinkie. Once she had a rough idea in mind, she raced downstairs and rushed through breakfast so she could get down to the train station super quick. A short while later (and a little off-screen teleporting), Pinkie ended up at the train station. "HIYA GIRLS!" She called out excitedly at full volume shortly before approach. "Are you excited? I'm excited! I've never been so excited! Except for the time Twilight came to Ponyville! And the time we faced off with Discord! Oh, and the time..." Pinkie said, starting to ramble on about many of their adventures that she'd found exciting.
  6. Alex was going about his daily routine for a day when he didn't have to work, since his last video had been recorded after he got home. Today, he was testing a game he'd sworn never to play: Five Nights at Freddy's. Naturally, this involved a lot of swearing and screaming as he died multiple times. SCREEE! "AAAAAGH! DAMMIT! BLOODY BUNNY WON'T GO THE HELL AWAY! LEAVE ME ALONE, YOU SHIT! HOW DO PEOPLE PLAY THIS DAMN GAME WITHOUT SUFFERING A FEAR OR RAGE INDUCED HEART ATTACK?!" In the midst of his raging, an explosion of purple smoke made him leap out of his chair, almost knocking his recording gear flying. "FUCK ME!" As he attempted to calm himself down, he spotted a scroll sitting on his bed. He shakily got up to examine the parchment, tied and sealed with a horseshoe. "Am I being accepted into Hogwarts or something?" He asked as he opened it. "Dear Alexander Nathanial Jones, As you no doubt can recall, you grudgingly entered a contest aimed at what you call 'Bronies,' thinking little of your entry. Well, we are pleased to inform you that you have been chosen, and will be invited to spend 100 days in our world, living amongst Equestrians as we learn more about yours. To prove this letter is not a forgery or some trick, you will receive a key, along with further instructions this afternoon. We cannot wait to meet you in person, and hope you find your time in Equestria to be quite enlightening. Yours Truly, - The Royal Equestrian Coalition of Magic." "If someone is pranking me, then this is the most elaborate one I've ever seen. Still, I'm not joining the bloody herd. Forget it." He said, dropping the scroll on his desk before beginning to record. Naturally, his accent once again drifted into Texan, right on cue. "Hey guys. AJ from AJVoiceOvers here. Check the skies tomorrow,, because the pigs have taken wing. Apparently, people have decided that since they can annoy me into a contest for bronies, they can also annoy me into games that force me to endure an aneurysm to play. So...Five Nights in my own personal Hell. Are you ready? Because I'm not..."
  7. @@Redeye, "Excellent. You should go get his attention. I'll try and pepper him with a few flame shots from a distance." Aria said, taking aim and concentrating to extend his range. He hadn't said that he currently had limited practical knowledge, but he had plenty of theories. Now was the time to test a few. Success would make him stronger, which paved the way to his intended goal. As soon as he had a shot, he launched a shot of flame. Aria has used a basic magic attack on the Bandit Leader.
  8. @@Redeye, Aria assessed the situation as best he could, determining part of a plan. "How durable are you, Anima? Because I believe we can take him down if we work together." He didn't want to stand by and do nothing, but rushing in would only get him killed right now.
  9. Phantom Dancer a.k.a. Grey Ash @@FortyTwo42 "I don't think you'd need a third backup weapon unless you wanted to take something on your hooves. But, if we can find some sturdy rope, I can tie the blades in place. Make a pseudo-harness until we find a better one." Phantom said, maintaining the patient exterior as Ebony got more frustrated with the terrible condition of the armoury. But her thanks threw him off a little. He made sure it didn't show, but he wasn't expecting that. "It's no trouble, Ebony. Us flying ponies gotta look out for each other. I'm sure if our situations were reversed, you'd do the same for me." He said, smiling a little wider for her.
  10. @@Redeye "Yeah...there's a lot more. Feeling up to another bout there, Anima?" Aria asked, getting a little eager for another fight despite his injuries, which weren't too bad, admittedly. The deep cut in his shoulder really hurt and he considered cauterizing the wound but that might be somewhat extreme at present.
  11. @@~Chaotic Eddie~, Dash smiled as she saw Spitfire step out of the shower, heading over to the fiery-maned mare. "Hey Sweets. Yeah, I was hoping to catch a shower before getting to work today. You got anything planned?" She asked, giving Spitfire a little kiss on the cheek. She didn't want to tell her about the dream she'd had last night. About her life blurring together until death was all that was left, and even she fell to his embrace.
  12. @@Redeye, "Cremate!" Aria yelled, directing attention to the other Bandit before he can take another swing at Anima. He couldn't risk another shot fizzling out yet, since she was better suited to close-quarters. He'd have to work on extending his range with basic attacks to be of more use later. It was better he try and support others instead of taking on everything himself.
  13. @@Redeye, Gritting his teeth, Aria took a step back, assessing the situation. If his next attack missed, he'd have to consider using his more powerful spells, though that would use up valuable energy and reduce his ability to fight in a protracted engagement. And on top of that, he wasn't fighting alone. Perhaps he could use that... He fired another burst of flame, and moved to re-position closer to Anima.
  14. @@Redeye, Aria shot another flame at the Bandit, hoping to deal a fair bit of damage before he reaches melee range. He already had one scratch, and he didn't want another one anytime soon. 'They don't seem particularly resilient to magic attacks, but there must be a weakness I can exploit to end this sooner...' Aria has used a basic magic attack on Mosthurn Bandit 7.
  15. Aria turned his attention to the Bandits, closing the distance to shoot some flames at one of them. He hadn't gotten a good read on the last one thanks to Anima's interference, but now he knew they had numbers on their side. His style was a risky one, but it worked so far. He prayed it would continue working. Aria has used a Basic magic attack on Mosthurn Bandit 7.
  16. Aria eyed the spear more warily than before, a more suspicious side to him starting to show. "That's an interesting ability... Is it your power or the spear's power?" He asked, looking over the spear while keeping his eyes open for more bandits. He had to prove himself legendary somehow, and defending this town would be a small, but potentially important step towards achieving his goal.
  17. @@Redeye, Aria took note of her appearance and weapons, already keeping her in mind as a dangerous opponent to be watched and eliminated should she turn on him, especially considering how she handled that bandit just now. Until that time, she was merely to be observed until they parted ways, whenever that may be. "There is one matter to be resolved." He said, following her out. "If we're fighting together, we should work as a team. If not, I'd prefer if you didn't interfere in my battles. It's a personal goal I've set out to achieve, and I'm not fond of impromptu intrusions when working solo."
  18. Poppy Seed @@SilverHeart, Poppy couldn't wait for the stallion. He'd find his own way to the mansion, but she had to leave right now. After one last check to make sure she was presentable and realizing that her roommate had vanished with nary a word, Poppy headed out, leaving the hotel and making her way to the mansion. Perhaps she'd see Rosewood there, but then, perhaps not. Rosewood had been decent to talk to, and probably knew of some things that might prove decently recreational since Poppy was going to be here for a while. So far, her first day hadn't covered everything there was to offer. Tomorrow, she planned to check out the beach Captain Bluemane mentioned. Maybe that would be relaxing. Of course, she first had to get to dinner at the mansion. After making her way to the gates, she fell in line with the others as she noticed the steward talking with Cherry and another pony.
  19. @@Redeye, "No way. You don't become legendary unless you take a few risks. Besides, you interrupted my duel." He said, somewhat displeased that this woman had decided to interfere where she wasn't wanted or needed. "I suppose that since we're both fighting these people, we may as well introduce each other. I'm Aria the Dawnsinger."
  20. He grinned a little. "Just one of you?" He thrust out his hand and a short burst of flame shot from his hand. Of course, he was at the far end of this basic technique's range, and any further would require him to expend valuable energy to cast a more powerful spell. In case he was misjudging his opponent, it was wiser and safer to test limits and reactions before slinging spells willy-nilly. Especially considering the differences in weapons, armour and talents. He had used a basic magical attack.
  21. Dash opted to lay in bed a moment or two longer to let everything sink back in. She'd been stranded and left without a way of getting back home. You miss the dropship, and you may as well be dead. She refused to let that break her, though. Dash would get home one way or another. At present, she had to work with Spitfire, her former rival and idol. Now... Well, Dash wasn't saying what Spitfire was to her. But it was something kinda special. She got up after a minute and wandered over to the bathroom, hoping a shower would help invigorate her a little.
  22. @@Redeye, "Thank you, Miss. Is there perhaps a place I could clean my clothing? I'd like to save a little money before buying new garments." He asked. Of course, he'd still take his bath and get clean after the girl's answer, though he'd begin to hurry as soon as he heard hooves approaching. This might be something worth checking out.
  23. He entered the bathhouse, approaching the front desk. "Hello?" This would be a good to ease the stress of his journey here and possibly resupply when he eventually moved onwards. This event he sensed would likely happen soon, and he had to be here for it. After all, he dreamed of becoming a legend and having the name 'Aria Eothain' inscribed in history books. Though it would take time for such a dream to come to fruition, he couldn't do anything without venturing out into new places.
  24. @@EquestrianScholar, @@Hypn0ticD, "Yepperoonie, Princess Celestia, ma'am! I'll throw the biggest, bestest party these humans have ever seen! It will be my finest party EVER!" Pinkie exclaimed, standing on her hind legs and pointing her hoof skywards. She would not be stopped or deterred from this course of action and this party would happen. All she needed was a plan. Next she turned to Applejack, brimming with excitement. "Yes! We do, indeedy! Onwards, girls! TO CANTERLOT!"
  25. "Good day, miss." He replied, driven more by courtesy than anything else. He continued onwards to the bathhouse to get cleaned up after his long trek through the canyon. Perhaps it would be best for him to seek out information and possibly some extra money afterwards. After all, one needs information to plan and it never hurts to have extra cash to spend.
