Absolutely not. Nobody can FORCE you to do anything. If you want to be a brony, be the best damn brony you can be. Parents are supposed to love their child no matter who they are. Sounds, like your parents are the total opposite. It irks me how they want you to be any different. What gives them the right to do that. Keep fighting. Push them back. We're all here for you!

I might be getting confused with the traditional tournament setup, but why is "Crystal Empire Part 2" listed twice in that bracket? Or are they separate competitions? (It's listed once on the bottom left, and again on the top right).

I don't think you've missed anything so you don't have to worry about that. Sure, this show is two years old, but I can see it continuing for another three or four years. Hell, Dr. Who took a giant hiatus from TV but they started airing it again. That fanbase has been around for over thirty years.

To me, I do feel that some people are leaving the fandom. Maybe because they got bored with it, while others might be ashamed if people found out that they enjoy it. True bronies don't care what other people think and just be themselves.

We're still in a new age of the fandom. Sure, it's not the Golden Age like it was when it first began, but we're still as strong as ever.

Sleepless in Ponyville is still losing. I'm sure that's disappointing to alot of you. I voted for SIP if it's any consolation. Both episodes were good. But I agree with that one poster who said Magic Duel is no Hurricane Fluttershy. I also agree with the poster who said it can't be Trixie fans because she lost in the first round. THE First match of the first round. There's still a slight chance that SIP will emerge victorious though.

Today's Matchup: Magic Duel VS Sleepless In Ponyville

It's a shame really. There are so many flaws with society. This is the type of stuff that gets me angered. Who are they to say what we can and cannot do?

Have you ever noticed that when someone goes outside of what society wants, society dictates that you "must' use up all your free time and energy to try to insult and bring down that opposition? If you haven't, where have you been living? Under a rock? We're part of a group that gets major firing and bad rep. It's amusing to see that society can be influenced by the few and assume the actions of the many. How many pedophile bronies have you ever met or seen? Hmm? Have you done a servey? Anything to prove that all bronies are pedophiles? No. Because not all bronies are pedophiles. I'll admit I can't speak for the whole tribe, but I digress. If a teenager were to play with dolls, you know what society would do? Bring him to his knees and put him down until it hurts. And for what reason? To try to keep "order" to society? There's no such thing as order when it comes to tht kind of stuff. Society wants everyone to be cookie-cutter people. All guys must act like this, all girls must act like this, all old-people must act like this, and so on. It's really repressive on what a person can express. I long for a day when people can be themselves and society can either ignore them or learn to accept that fact that not everyone's the same.

Probably Pinkie Pie. Perhaps it's because of her randomness at times. She's like an episode of Family Guy. Main plot is going on, and then BOOM, a cutaway gag appears.

Well, as bronies, we shouldn't necessarily hate anything. However, I dislike clopfics and the self-proclaimed "bronies" who get off on them. In my opinion, if you clop, you're not a true brony. I'm not bashing furries or anything. Everyone is entitled to like what they like and I respect that. I don't like shipping either. I know many bronies who do. Gore fics are fine with me though. I prefer reading about Rainbow Dash getting murdered rather than AJ applying honey to Pinkie's *****. No thanks.

Awesome, i really wanted to make brony music, but i never knew where to start from, some people told me to use FL studio, but it seems too complex to starters like you and me.

Not only that, but it's very expensive. If I had $200+ to shell out to buy that program I would. Maybe I'll sell my music online. (Only joking)

You can make brony music. I look at it like this, if Mandopony, MicTheMicrophone, and TheLivingTombstone were able to rise to success making pony music, why can't we? We aren't different.

The main think I realized (might just be me) is that I can't really find a beat to it.

 

However, you managed to get farther than I could, so for that I applaud you

Yeah. I was afraid of that. There's really no beat. But with DJ-PON3, most of the music is loud techno. I tried to interpret that a bit. And it's really tough. I don't have good programs like FL Studio or Cubase so I make do with what I can with Audacity. It's a bit of a drawback but the more I do, the better I'll get. (Hopefully.)

Well its cool and all, I'm a musician, but I just play music not make it .

However to be honest it feels kinda, almost to fast maybe? Or it might be it just feels like nothing stays around for very long, Plus it feels like a bunch of different sounds played very fast and then transitioned into the next. It doesn't really have many times where it feels like much is playing more then one thing.

 

I think i'd like it more if you had a part where something stuck around a little longer, and you have a bunch of different stuff put together on top of each other instead of not having very long at all to even notice each effect that comes up.

Or maybe it could even use more background stuff, and still have the whole feature of different stuff.

 

Then again, I'm not really sure this is just a listener's perspective, I don't really know much about actually writing music like I said, just playing it(And even then I play trumpet so. .)

The sad part is that I don't play an instrument so I need to use break beats. I don't know many pony musicians who do that. I'm not sure if I could do what you asked with Audacity. I'll have to play around with it a bit more.

Not a bad start.  It's definitely a good idea to experiment with your gear, so you can get an idea of what it can do, and how you might be able to use it most effectively.  You seem to be doing a lot of this, and it'll be cool to see what you can do with it in a more structured song.

 

What equipment/software did you use for this?

I used Audacity for the fast pitch. I got the music from Mixcraft 6 but my trial version expired so I can't use that anymore. I just put the two songs I made in this one video. Originally, the video was over 2:30. But, with the increase in speed, it shortened.

Today's Matchup: Sweet and Elite VS MMMystery on the Friendship Express

1) Spiders. OH GOD NO! Creepy damn things. The way they crawl just sickens me.

2) Bugs & Insects. I HATE THEM. In fact, the only ones I do not mind at all are ants, flies, bees, wasps, ladybugs, grasshoppers, crickets, and beetles. But if you place a worm or a night crawler next to me, I'll scream how a nineteen year old man should.

3) Confined Spaces. Elevators are fine. Once, in seventh grade, I told these two girls next to me that I was going to lock myself in my locker. They didn't believe me and I did. Yelling ensued. I had to be rescued by two janitors and one of the vice-principals. I'll never live that down....

Was I the only one who didn't enjoy today's episode? Yes, there were good parts; AJ's first solo song, and Babs Seed. But the whole episode was all blegh to me. Nothing really stood out. It seemed similiar to It's About Time. The mane character pony tries to make everything perfect, but ends up ruining what she was trying to prevent.

In fact, I'd say this was the worst episode since It's About Time.
