    I just had one hell of an idea connected to this but I'm not sure on the politics. Shining armour and Cadence were married, making him a prince of the realm. What if that's all it is? His coronation as prince? With some funny antics throughout the episode?

    Both this and the lineart... it's... incredibly beautiful. The colour just adds to the wonder of it. Thanks, I designed him myself, the simplest designs look the nicest, I feel.

    "After all it's only a massive ship.... with.... bat wings?" He laughs at this and gestures for her to follow him as he flies up onto the roof of the halberd. He looked around, flinching at the sight of the large cannon and what appeared to be a grabber of some sort. It didn't seem to be functional but still..

    No I didn't draw him myself, the ones I did don't work that well for references. He doesn't have a cutie mark because I think he looks better without one.
