Just beat it, it took 41 in-game days but I did it with all the suit upgrades and plenty of Pikmin and fruit juices to spare. Anyone else beat it? If so, post how many days it took.

I can understand why you wouldn't want to bring it with you on walks and jogs, but I don't think there's any other way. Sorry.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a really healthy guy (I go for jogs and work out almost everyday), but I find t inconvenient to take my 3DS with me on walks. This is because it takes up too much space in my pocket, I don't want to loose it, and I don't want it to get stolen. Thankfully, Ive thought of a method of getting "play coins" without having to go on walks:

What I need is a device with a small table (big enough to put my 3DS on) that ascends and descends over and over again at any speed. Does anyone know where I could find such a device? Or if anyone else has any other ideas?

Eeyup, without them, the My Little Pony cosplay choices for men would be very limited. Also, it would be awesome to have a canon rule 63 episode of MLP (besides the one where Twi "transformed" AJ into a stallion)!

I voted for Luna, Trixie, and Fluttershy. Id'e love to have a decent Luna plush and I know we are getting plenty of Mane six plushes in the future anyways which is why only Flutters of the mane six got my vote. 

Perfect! You can make a full set of armor for slightly under $100 bucks. There is a whole process to doing it. I would suggest looking around on 405th's website, or just googling "papercraft armor" or something like that. That would be a good place to get started.

 

Here is a video supplement that got me started in the armor-making business about a year ago. It helped me a lot, it may be of assistance to you.

I'm pretty artsy, thanks for the tutorial but I dunno if I have that long to make the armor because the con is three months away.

I just recently did something that I will be taking to Bronycon that is *kind of* an r63 on Vinyl Scratch. I basically made an iron man suit, with a few modifications, and painted it DJ P0N3 colors. 

Also glowsticks and speakers. Lots of glowsticks and speakers.

For a Luna cosplay, You might be able to do something similar. The easiest thing I can think of doing is essentially making a Medieval suit of armor (possibly papercraft/fiberglass method, while it is cheap and easy) You could even make your own cape for it, and it could turn out really cool. Pasta-bly make a giant crown thingy for it too...

Then get a nerf sword.

I'm trying to do something similar to Terra from Kingdom Hearts, something that mixes the elements of the past with the elements of the future, specifically, I want to create the armor he's wearing on his left arm but with Luna's colors and style. How can I do this? I also want my cosplay to show off my physique like that muscle shirt Terra wears does. Oh, and I'm willing to put about $100 into it.

I would also pay a lot of attention to the small details too. for example you can have your entire costume down, but if you don't use contacts for her eye color for example, you can completely lose the feel of the costume sometimes.

 

I had noticed this with my miku cosplay. Perhaps it was just the people I was around, but when i had my contacts out, people liked it, but when i had my colored contacts in people LOVED IT. It lets you go the full distance doing something as small as that, and people apreciate all the effort you put into it.

 

I am not saying use contacts, it is just my example to show what effect 1 small change can do.

I want to wear color contacts but I just can't put them in for some reason. Plus I wear glasses but, I'm getting laser eye surgery sometime in the summer and hoping it's before the convention. 

I'm planning on going as rule 63 Luna to my next anime convention but need help on how I should make the cosplay. Anypony have any ideas?

Oh yeah, I forgot about the whole rule 63 cosplay thing, hmm, rule 63 Luna (Deimos) would be awesome! Now, what would I need for this cosplay?

That's a good Idea, do you know what I could use to make his royal guard armor? Also, ive only seen a couple of episodes of Doctor Who so going into his character might be a bit difficult. 

Go as Braeburn. Everybody loves Braeburn and he shouldn't be too hard to cosplay. Also, he has a hat, which gives anyone automatic awesomeness.

Very true, I'll think about it. Tho I don't feel like yelling "Aaaaapplooza" when asked to. The cons not for a while so Ive got plenty of time to think but Ide like to have some ideas ready. 

So ive been thinking about cosplaying as human Shining Armor for the next upcoming convention but Ive been having a few doubts, mainly because I'm single and I typically see Shining as a cosplay worn only by bronies who have someone to go with them as Cadence. Is this true? Also, what are some other MLP cosplays I could go as? Someone in my cosplay group is already doing Big Mac so I can't go as him. 

Flutters of course; she's kind, caring, adorable, and good with animals and kids. 

I'm almost done with the offline mode, I just unlocked the nine star quests and will probably beat them later today or tomorrow. The only thing that's intimidating me now is knowing that I'll have to face Alatreon alone soon.

After I get all the event items, Im gonna start farming Dire Miralis for his weapons and armor because I rarely see people with his stuff on. 

Just got the new event Switch Axe, sinister saints! The monsters in that quest may look intimidating but believe me, they're almost as weak as a Great Jaggi, literally anyone can get that new axe. 

I'm so close to reaching HR 8, I just beat all my key quest and the only thing left for me to do is kill the new elderdragon, Dire Miralis. I tried once and failed, i'm gonna try again later today. 

Just beat Dire Miralis, the last online urgent, and am now HR 24. The weapons and armor for Dire look AMAZING! Now to beat the offline mode. 

It really depends on the one you go to; Ive been to a pretty "ghetto" Walmart where the people were rude and barely understood me but ive been to other walmarts where the people were nice and seemed like they loved to talk/serve you. 

Just a reminder; there's gonna be an event quest that will give you a LIMITED EDITION SWITCHAXE if completed enough times. This quest will be downloadable on April 2nd so mark your calendars! 

Now for an update on my hunting experiences; I am currently HR 7 (thanks to Strormz, your rock dude!) and am planning on reaching HR 8 either tonight or tomorrow. I am equipped with the full Goldbeard Ceadeus set, the Demolition Hammer, dragon resistance, cap guru, and earplugs that make me immune to the roars of all Large Monsters. I'm also almost done with the single player mode (doing 8* quests).
