An old time favorite

Nothing has outright "killed" videogames for me. Though my interest in them overall has been on the decline for several years now. It has peaked a bit in recent months during my summer break, but otherwise it remains on the decline. I still find interest in some games (mostly casual relaxing ones), and playing games with friends sometimes. But otherwise I rarely find myself interested.

Today (August 7th) was/is Purple Heart Day.

Tried, pensive, perhaps a bit motivated to get some stuff done this week. Hard to quite put my finger on what I'm thinking or feeling right now.

While it isn't my favorite season, I still enjoy it. I love when the trees turn vibrant shades of all sorts of colors. I've always had this mental image of fall as being:A dirt road with trees with bright orange leaves on either side with blue sky between. It's a bit of a calming thought and something I have definitely thought about on some of the more hot summer days.

Waiting for paint to dry... It's too hot and humid in the garage to let anything dry out there.

Fruit salads are the best salads, just because all the sweetness and that sweet juice that collects at the bottom. XD Some pineapple, grapes, apple, pear, with a tiny bit of lime juice thrown in is just amazing. They taste the best on the hottest of summer days.
