Do you have trouble making a good first impression?

Generally speaking I do not have any real difficulty, if it's a professional environment I do pretty well. In just about ever instance it's just a matter of being polite and friendly, I cannot think of any instances where that was not the case. -
Ten minutes ago I was eating lunch. Though I think I ate a bit fast, thinking I may end up late to class.

Today I was a bit bummed as a very close friend of mine is going off to join the Army. I was able to talk to him and play some games with him last night, and today he gave me a phone call before he was to head out. Over the 5 years I've known him we have grown quite close, but I was still surprised when I was the first one he called to say farewell. While I will still be able to talk to him from time to time, it's quite a lifestyle shift for him and a new stage of life. I am happy that he is moving forward though, and I am looking forward to talking with him once more sometime down the road. -
HMKids is decent, the lyrics are not always the best, but I love how they use the voices from the Dawn of War games.

Currently thinking about what needs to get done by Tuesday, specifically what I can knock out tomorrow. Also trying to organize what else I have to do this summer, as well as what I wish to do after the summer semester ends.

I had neighbours who partied all night, from 11:00pm-9:00am, they got drunk, took drugs, shouted, argued, fought, played music, mostly fought with each other. A lot of females screaming because their man is going to get hurt or they're in between two males getting really into a tussle with each other. Then they'd all be lying all over their garden knocked out cold from hard boozing and fighting. It made a change from the usual quiet we get in my neighbourhood, it was really interesting to see some real world drama for once, it can get boring here, not that I don't mind it, it's honestly great having peace and quiet here. I think the same dude lives there, with a possible girlfriend I think, never really payed much attention to my neighbours since my childhood, when I used to play with the boy and girl next door a lot, until they moved. He mostly gets police or people wanting drugs coming to his house, he's quieted down a lot since he first moved in.

I am rather confused as to a few things as of this moment. The nature of the situation puts me in a pensive mood. Though it is difficult to interpret things right now, it may still be somewhat enlightening.

Really wish HMkids had instrumentals. Though I the lyrics are not bad overall.

As somebody who used to fall under the category of self loathing Americans, I can say that it is annoying. I do not posses such views anymore and have not for some time. That being said, I think it's important that we Americans criticize our own country and government(s) (federal and state) as much as we criticize other nations. That is how we better our nation. You should also remain skeptical about some statements and actions of the government. Should you go full Alex Jones? Certainly not, but when the CIA makes a statement regarding something like chemical weapons or hacking without any evidence, you should question it. I do not always agree with out government, and I have been angered at much of the hypocrisy in our government and culture. An example would be people criticizing Russia for doing that which we have done on previous occasions. Another example would be our continued support of Saudi Arabia, one of the biggest abusers of human rights in the Middle East and one of the biggest sponsors of terrorism. All that being said I still love this country and what it was founded on. Though I will say that I think our founding fathers are rolling in their grave due to what our political system has become in 21st century.

What is your favorite place to get pizza?

There is a local take out place only 10 minutes from my house run by a acquaintance of my family. He used to have a full fledged restaurant 2 minutes from the current location, however it fell through with the economic downturn. With that restaurant went some delicious desserts, but at least we can still get pizza from the take out place. -
