My favourite is Twilight x Pinkie Pie (Twinkie Pie?) I just love how they go together with Twilight being calculated and planned out whilst Pinkie is impulsive and erratic. I just got up to date on The Baker and The Scholar which I found very good (Did use a toned down version of Pinkie. But hey, any story in which a character studies a book of "special positions" is good enough for me.)

"I'm ready now." Glacier said, revitalized from the short rest. "If those creatures were trying to keep you away then they certainly tried to. Weren't counting on my amazing power though." Glacier shook a hoof and then shook the rest.

"Well then, what are you waiting for? I thought you were in a rush to save a hermit so you can use her as a tool to defeat a powerful draconeqqus.

Mind if I join? I'll use Glacier Shard for this one. In the additional comments, it says a few things to ignore in the backstory and CM.

"You have better people skills than I do so I think you should go around asking ponies if they know anything. But on a slightly more urgent note, we have two more problems. We have nowhere to stay and no money unless you two have anything."

After a few more minutes, the trio reached Ponyville.

"Here at last. First, I'll get Colt to the hospital. Then, me and Star Rain will get a day to learn the area and find accommodation. We'll begin research tomorrow."

I'm after treasure chests and hearts for a particularly awkward quest (ie. Search Party). My GL ID is JamJarhead. I too can gift daily.

"Hey, in the distance! We are almost in Ponyville!" For the first time since starting his adventure, Pondah felt a sort of relaxation. He was still on edge though, he was not yet in the safety of Ponyville.

"So then, Colt, once you have recovered, set about gathering a troupe together to take back Canterlot. Meanwhile, I'll get on the case of research into "The Grey One" and "The Champion". Star Rain, what will you do?"

Anyway, I walked someone through making a 3.5 character sheet without even thinking about it.

Heh, indeed you did. I wouldn't mind either a pony D&D or not, I've got OCs that I can use and I have my already made Halfling rogue guy.

"What I was saying was who I thought would go to Canterlot. Being the ones that are skilled in battle, I thought you would go to retrieve the Tears. But anyway, let's go!"

Pondah and the group began the trip south to Ponyville. Nothing happened immediately, giving Pondah some time to think.

[Definitely writing some sort of Adventure Log. If I go to the Ponyville Library, I'll be able to get some information on this Grey Guy and have a quiet place to write it. Genius.]

In hushed tones, Pondah told Colt. "I don't think that the Dragon and Star Rain like me. I reckon they're fed up of me and that I'm weak link in the group. I think that Amber can only just tolerate me due to that "incident" earlier." Pondah turned to the other ponies and shouted, "Last chance! Hurry if you're coming!"

Most likely anything that isn't meat. I don't think that meat has been eaten at any point in the show.

Oh, before someone else steals it, maybe Twilight could eat AliCornFlakes.

"Well we haven't got a moment to lose. No trees and no caves in between us and a due south walk to Ponyville. Anypony else coming? If so come quickly." Pondah turned to Colt. "Need a hoof walking? Only a short trip before something more professional can be done about that nasty injury."

Pondah started walking to Ponyville with Colt behind. "Let's do this."

"I'll go to Ponyville ,I've almost been killed enough times here in one day and research is one of the few things I specialize in. I can get us some stuff we will need. Thing is though, how will Ponyville Team contact Canterlot Team? You might get annihilated and we would be none the wiser. Oh and we need codenames for the teams. Group A and B sucks. How about " Sages and Canterlot Infiltrators?

Glacier gave Snow a piercing glare.

"Yeah that's about right. I'm here for three reasons. One so you don't die. Two so I can finally finish something I've set as a goal and three, possibly become very, very powerful. And for the record, it's quite hard to work out who is saying what when you are drifting in and out of consciousness having just used every bit of energy in your body saving a group of ponies who had been attacked. Maybe, things would've been easier if kazoo-boy there had even tried thinking of helping at the start. But no, you turn on the one pony the just saved your asses and doesn't get along rather than the thief who didn't lift a finger till the battle was won by yours truly. I don't know if you are ignorant, blind or both but I could quite easily of ended it there and then for all of us. Now I need more rest, I used up a lot of energy in this rant."

Generally, the songs are good and catchy which makes the episode better over all (Winter Wrap Up, Raise This Barn being the main 2.) When the first song started (Giggle at the Ghosties), I was worried that the whole show would be singing and dancing but more episodes in, I realized that the songs were well thought out and were really just good songs. There are a few stinkers though (The Pony Everypony Should Know, anything involving the CMC especially) but I usually grin and bare it. The worst thing with the songs was when rubbish songs populated the ghastly episode "Baby Cakes". The poor songs made it by far, one of the worst episodes ever.

FINALLY! I've been trying to find people to play with for ages. I'm in, unless we have to have experience. I have never played D&D before but I can probably pick it up quickly.

"I haven't... done... that in a whi..." Glacier was unable to finish her sentence. Her body completely drained of energy she kept drifting in and out of sleep, un-consciousness and consciousness for a while until she had enough energy to stand. "What just happened then? So suddenly, we are the ass-holes for trying to survive and find some hermit and she isn't. But then again, if she thinks she isn't an ass-hole, wouldn't she try to help considering she has healing magic? Sounds like ass-hole Grade A to me."

"Well then, if it is fine with everypony else, let's move to a nearby place of interest." Pondah pulls out a map and looks over it. "Going North West gets us to Vanhoover which is very far away. North East takes us to Manehatten A similar distance East are Baltimare and Fillydelphia. South West gets us to Las Pegasus which is also fairly far. Due South is Ponyville and we are very close to that. I say we go for Ponyville. It's close by, has a hospital for "ol' cripple" here (Pondah points at Fortune) and it'll have places where we can get some on this Grey Guy."

"Hnnng. Here... goes... YAH!" Glacier screamed as a blue circle formed around her, enclosing everything within a large radius. Glaciers eyes glistened as she through her head back and fired a huge ice ball up into the sky. It collided back into the ground with a colossal crash. Glacier used her last reserves of stamina to move out of the way and behind cover in time as a gigantic ice pillar erupted from the circle, shards of ice circling round it, spearing and a freezing anything not annihilated by the initial crash and pillar. Glacier gave deep breaths at high rate. "I... need a... moment." Glacier's legs gave way, her body completely drained of energy.

"Hrrr! These snakes are more infuriating than you are! Give me a moment, I'm charging something up." Glacier lept to the side to dodge the venom and lashing snakes. Her horn gave a dark blue, almost black glow as Glacier's face screwed up whilst concentrating. "If you don't like cold, stay away!" Glacier said, biting her lip at the amount of energy needed to use the planned spell.

"Ack!" Glacier turned away and covered her eyes to avoid the venom from doing any damage. "Ok, this is on." Glacier realised that the snakes were quick and decided quicker attacks were needed. Glacier turned to face on of the higher up snakes and smirked. Many icy darts fired straight from her horn at gatling gun speed. She shock her head while doing this to spray the ice all over the snakes.

"Please, call me Ms. Shard." Glacier turned to face one of the large snakes and readied an attack. Her horn gave a deep glow as a ball of ice formed in front of her. Glacier groaned as it fired towards the creature. At the last moment, Glacier gave another groan and a glow, shattering the ball into several icy darts, all targeting the creatures chest area.

"Fluttershy! Why do you want to find that hermit? Although I imagine she could be hidden 6 feet under in a plastic bin liner." Glacier gave a giggle to herself. "No but seriously, even if you did find her, I doubt she would even speak to you, let alone follow you. Ever tried speaking to a cheese grater? Expect that level of exciting conversation."

"Right, you know what. So far all you have successful done is introduce yourselves, bicker and blow up a nerd's laboratory. I'm going where ever you are going just so I can help you not die as quickly as you originally would. Also, I might achieve one or two personal goals along the way."

Glacier's horn gave the glow as she moved the block of ice away from Addem Up.

"Now then, I believe the "Fighting Failures" here were about to explain the explosion that caused yet more disturbance. Can you only manage to do disturbance and noise?"

"Well, we either go in to the war zone now whilst unprepared and get those gems or we leave it a while, get some information and come back. Either way, we don't know if those gemstones have been taken by this "grey guy." Personally, I go for the second option as knowledge is power but that's just me. . We have to decide quickly though, we don't have time to spare"

Glacier trotted past the group of ponies and the exploded pony and said in a snarky voice "See ya later loud mouths. Enjoy your trust-building." Glacier laughed to herself and in a tone mocking that of Corkscrew's "Why don't we all become best of fwends! Glacier gave another laugh and created large cube of ice. "Here, exploding guy, try cooling down." Glacier created the ice block just an inch away from Addem Up's body, letting it fall once in the desired position.
