  1. I try to get into my characters shoes and act as they would at the time (that's the point surely.) I don't play as myself because it wouldn't be as fun or as challenging than playing as someone different. I only take on 1 roleplay at a time because, as you said, it makes it easier to get in character.

  2. I enjoyed playing "Sly 2: Band of Thieves". It's a stealth game at heart but strangely had many different ways to play it. Most missions are traditional sneaking about and nicking stuff, but there are also missions in which you find yourself using explosives to sneak past by creating distractions or by simply blowing people up.

  3. I think people object to adults watching cartoons because as they are often on channels aimed at (dare I say it) children, they think only children should watch it. It's weird, apparently watching cartoons aimed at kids as an adult is "sick and wrong" but it's perfectly fine for a 7 year old to play FPS games and it's also apparently fine for young girls to wear that crop top and high heels.

  4. 1. Incompetent Drivers: Everyone makes the odd error but some people take it too far. Such as people who never use indicators. Just going to Tesco I was almost killed 3 times by people not using indicators.

    2. Tagalongs: You know the sort, the ones that hang with the "cool" kids or the bullies just for protection or to look like they fit in with the crowd.

    3. Perfection Expectations: Going by school grades, I'm one of the "smart" ones. Problem is, people as a result expect me and those like me to be good at everything and then start whinging if we don't get something first try. If we start slipping in school work, teachers are over us like vultures over a hippo carcass, refusing to acknowledge everyone has a bad day.

  5. My top three game shows are more on the classic side.

Nice to see a fan of older things. I particularly liked the programme Catchphrase. Hosted by Roy Walker (Triple Irish Hammer Champion), the game consisted of various different turns of phrase (eg. One armed bandit) portrayed as an animation which at the time was ground breaking. Anyone who guessed a Catchphrase first got to remove a square from a larger Catchphrase. If they guessed this Catchphrase correctly, they won a larger amount of money. If they didn't, play carried on with guessing and removing. Who ever had the most money at the end of 3 or 4 rounds played the Super Catchphrase.

To win here, you were given 1 minute to answer remove squares from a 5x5 grid and answer as many Catchphrases as possible. You got £50 for every correct answer and £100 for every fifth answer. If you managed to answer 5 correctly going in a line through the centre square then you won a round the world

    holiday.

  6. I keep going with the knowledge that every day can contain a completely new experience. Every second of every minute of every day, an opportunity to do something different or important comes around. You just need to be in the right place at the right time. No two days have to be identical.

  7. Is anybody here familiar with the online browser game Empire Attack? If so, this is the place to things be it a recent epic victory in a 10 day campaign, finally getting the Coin Cascade Gem or promoting your clan to the masses(Go Lunarmada)

On Empire Attack, I go by the name DeliGod and I am leader of the clan Lunarmada (which is still awaiting up to 5 members.)

  8. Just watched "Lotion Stairs". What is being thrown that makes things that slippery? I need some of that for next time I see a Lino floor. The clip I watched was funny, but nowhere near "Takeshi's Castle". If these things are gameshows, I wonder what Japanese comedians are like?

  9. I hate this world now. I only found out what Honey Boo Boo was 13 seconds ago and the first line of "Know your Meme" told me to lie down and cry. Am I the only person left on this planet that hasn't had a comic book made about them? I need to find Celestia and annoy her. 1000 years on the moon sounds like the best way out.

  10. I think my favourite would have to be ITV's "The Cube". The Cube is the very definition of game show. It's official, it's intimidating, and it's downright badass.

I've seen The Cube and as good as it is, it isn't one of the best. In fact, I would say that it is worse than Takeshi's Castle. Any gameshow in which one single game has broken 73 ribs and 15 legs in mental in my books (Got to love the Japanese!)

  11. Yes! I usually find it more funny than scary with people just trying too hard and things intended to be scary usually become silly (to the point where I was laughing so hard I cried.) The annoying thing I find is that authors of Grimdark too often end up ruining the atmosphere with pointless "mature themes" (If you know what I mean ;)

  12. Are you a fan of Gameshows? Or do you dismiss them as evil? Tell everyone your favourite 3 gameshows.

    Personally mine are:

Goldenballs: I just love it when people amass a huge amount of prize money and then nobody takes anything home.

Deal or no Deal: The only programme on TV where you are remembered for winning 1p.

Cash Cab; It is such an innovative idea and a good test of on the spot knowledge.

  13. I don't mind parties but then again, I have mental friends and family. The bits in parties I don't like is when the host(s) asks everyone every 5 minutes if they are enjoying themselves. And I just say "If I wasn't, I would be telling you." But I do hate dancing. I don't do dancing.

  14. I liked "Castle of Cagliostro" because it had a good story line and a fair bit of action (and a man being killed by a clock!) I also liked "Pom Poko" and "My neighbour Totoro" as Pom Poko was funny and because Totoro was cute. I HATED Porco Rosso and Ponyo as they were far too boring.

  15. I find myself laughing at programmes like "Destroyed in Seconds". I don't know why, but I also watch the things on these programmes at 1/4 speed and love it more. You haven't lived until you have watched an explosion at a rocket fuel factory in slow-mo.

  16. 1. Pinkie Pie

    2. Fluttershy

    3. Twilight Sparkle

    4. Rainbow Dash

    5. Applejack

    6. Rarity

This was mostly done in order of how good the episodes centered round each character are. Rarity and Applejack are low as the episodes are either really boring or in too large an amount (So much Applejack in series 2!)
