Conversations with people online are easy to abandon and forget. You can easily disregard the person's feelings online. After all, we're all just intangible icons wandering around like ghosts in this two dimensional medium. In real life, you cannot abandon the conversation midway without coming off as rude. That is what bothers me here sometimes. :/

eBay tried getting us to pay back as soon as they saw the tracking for the laptop, so my mom called the Appeals Department, gave them our story and the eBay guy said that their decision was made in error and reversed any charges made to us. Now everything is between eBay and the buyer, and we don't have to give him back a penny. We won.
