    The idea of this intruiges me and yet scares the living crap out of me at the same time. I kind of want to try it, but considering my last bout with a stage hypnotist had me rocking back, visible terrified, watching my GF get hypnotized I'm not sure.. From someone who has successfully done this, can you actually think straight while this is happening? can you break out of it any time?

    I would agree. describing the personalities of ANYONE without simplifying is impossible without infinite brain power (at least in my philosophical opinion, take from that what you will)

    Although Twilight will always be best pony for me, I find that my (platonic) love for the other five gets closer and closer all the time (like how a natural log equation always gets closer and closer to, but never quite reaches, its M value). By this point in time I have a favorite, second favorites and third favorites It makes sense, but be careful about labeling Rarity as a "fashion diva" or RD as a "Tomboy", although they have many traits that we would commonly associate with such phrases, you can have as many forms of "Tomboy" as you have personalities. Again though, I concur that they do have some more prominent personality traits that clash. EDIT: Have never actually seen FiW (not sure where to now, considering I believe there is a bit of drama revolving around them at the moment), not sure how I missed the pinkie sense reference considering I was watching that episode all of a bout 17 hours ago...

    Oh just ignore me. I am a scholar of a dead language. Also, I feel kind of stupid for not spotting any references at all despite the fact that you have mentioned there are some.... You speak as if personalities are opposite points on a wheel or something, when in reality they are made of thousands of points on thousands of wheels (and even that is simplifying immensely, lets be honest, nobody truly understands human personality). Rarity and RD have personality points that conflict, but you can like RD for say these five points and like rarity for these four, completely different non conflicting personality points, and again, I am probably simplifying horribly wow. this forum combines my posts when I accidentally make a new one instead of editing the old one. Squee!!

    I have never really investigated shipping a whole ton in any fandom, but I find MLP shipping really quite adorable as long as it stays WAAAY within SFW bounds (AKA hugging), getting close to that line is just, ew. But to actually answer the question. RD and Fluttershy

    Is it just me, or is the fact these sorts of discussions exist show how much of a goddamn amazing job the MLP team has done on both making the individual characters and making a good spectrum between the 6 of them. I honestly think we have a little of all of them in all of us, just depends to what degree

Applejack is easily the most dependable of friends, always the first to be selfless when she sees it is needed. Pinkie Pie only really cares about sharing/creating other people's happiness, instead of making her own

    1. Twilight sparkle - I can relate to her immensely and just find her so adorable and generally awesome. 2. Fluttershy/Rarity - Fluttershy is just so adorable, its hard to not like her for me. Rarity used to be my least favorite but I really came to appreciate her (specially after seeing sisterhoof social) and her fabulosity. 3. Pinkie/Applejac/RD - Can't really decide past here. RD is adventurous and honorable but also gets on my nerves sometimes. Pinkie is fun and utterly mad but again is just too cringe worthy sometimes. AJ just isn't really me that much.

    Lets be honest. SOMEONE has to be your least favorite, if you don't relate to her as much as the others, that your business. (Though then again, in my head I have 3 of them competing for both 3rd place and last place). Edit: Hi dere Zygen!

    Considering that S4 has been announced already (I believe this is the case yes?) they arn't exactly going to do a huge amount to disrupt the status-quo of the show, or they wouldn't be able to do the 4th season so personally I am not at all worried There is an excellent picture somewhere that has a caption very similar to this, with twilight's various failures parading in the background (To mention a few, Pinkie Sense, Lesson Zero, Crystal Empire ect.) Lets be honest here, does any of the characters ever get into a situation that doesn't turn out ok in the end?

    Fluttershy, she is just so adorable. There is something about her mane that just makes her have to be at the top. Second goes to Twilight, Rarity and RD, past fluttershy its too close to call

Your decisions will be worthier if you believe in them. and Being normal is for boring people I totally agree with you, the thought of being drunk or high just freaks me the hell out. Something about not being in the right state of mind and unable to make rational decisions makes my ego freak out

    I generally go with either DEMACIA!!! or FOR THE VANU!!! One of the two, depending what mood I'm in (From League of Legends and Planetside 2) EDIT: Agree with guy above me. Khorne battlecry is awesome, especially because he gave us Sanity is for the weak!

    1. Discord- I have a feeling he is most people's favorite, just a well designed villain who is amusing yet evil at the same time (though one could argue he is just selfish) 2. Nightmare moon, just felt like a real villain to me, but not as good fun as discord. 3. Chrysalis, has no real power, just uses deceit which is cool in a way but still 4. Sombra, how much do we even know about him. Quite boring

    Hi dere, Quiles here, making ma intro post. So. I like the ponies. I got into it around september when a friend of mine (the same one who recommended this site) finally convinced me to watch an episode. After a long weekend trying to cinvince myself I didn't like it I gave in and let the friendship flow. In terms of favorite pony I really kind of have a love for all of them, though I would say Twilight is my fav (as a meganerd I tend to relate to her). Apart from that, I am a major gamer, Planetside 2 (in which I spend a lot of time playing with my outfit), EVE online, League of Legends, Dwarf fortress are my top games at the moment. I enjoy my fantasy books and general internet browsing I do a little pencil drawing, though I'm kinda crap atm (though improving!) I generally have always been a very left brained person so this is a bit of an adventure for me. And thats me!
