    Brony Testamonials

    How did you become a brony?: Well I'd seen alot about it on areas of the Internet and had recieved a recommendation to watch it from a few of my friends on the other forum I'm a member of, but I didn't plan to check it out because it looked girly. But as I've come to learn, no matter what you start with on Youtube, it will eventually lead to ponies. I ended up on a random pony clip and then an hour and half later, I realized I'd been watching pony videos that whole time. Been a brony ever since.

     

    How long have you been a brony?: I've been a member of the the Herd a little less than a month.

     

    Have you told anyone?: I've only told my best friend and am in the process of converting him to the Herd. I don't worry about it though, I openly wear my Pony shirts in public.

     

    Anything else that's on your mind?: Since becoming a member of this fandom, I've been impressed with how well we all get along. With the other fandoms I've been members of, the members never got along this well and were so accepting. I love being a brony and I never plan on changing that.

    What pony are you most like?

    I'm most like Rainbow Dash(which is awesome, because she's my favorite pony) followed by equal parts Rarity and Pinkie. I think it might have missed something though, because there should be some Fluttershy in there somewhere and she's my lowest score.

    Yes you can. You have a username and password - use those to log into MLP Forums instead of your Facebook account. I do it all the time.

     

    I try to, but it never works for me. So I either just log in through Facebook or leave the forums open(I know that's not safe, but its about the only way I can stay connected)

    I don't know anyone who likes this show(at least that I know of, I haven't exactly announced my brony status to the world). But I'm trying to convert my best friend to the Herd. So far all I've done is show him a few of the clips with songs in them(Fluttershy's So Many Wonders and Winter Wrap Up), but now that I have season 1 downloaded from iTunes, I'll make him watch a few episodes next time I see him.

    Derpy Hooves or Ditzy Doo?

    From what I hear, the production originally planned to call her Ditzy Doo, but then after the infamous animation error that gave her a derp face and the fans reaction to said derp face, even the production team and Lauren Faust herself adopted the name Derpy Hooves. I myself prefer to call her Derpy(as you can probably tell by my username :D )

    I wouldn't say Twilight is one of the most powerful unicorns, she is only a student. And check out episode 12 from season 2, only one unicorn raises the sun. ~

    Her special talent is magic, meaning that she can learn spells amazingly fast and has a much greater access to the stores of magical energy in the world than any other unicorn. Her massive amounts of magical potential are what convinced Celestia to take her on as her apprentice in the first place. She has to be pretty special and powerful to be chosen from among all the other young unicorns to bypass the academy and go straight to apprenticeship to the godess of the sun herself.

    The thing is, you can see sometimes that Celestia just wants to be treated like one of the normal ponies. She doesn't really care if her subjects are completely respectful as long as she can just be looked at as a friend instead of the great and powerful sun goddess that she is. It probably really hurts her that even Twilight, the pony she is basically a second mother and mentor to, doesn't trust her completely most of the time.
