    Hello folks!
     
    I took the weekend off to travel to Anaheim, CA to Equestria LA (Couldn't get Friday off )
    Not bad a train trip. Met a friend of mine at the station and we drove to the Hilton Hotel the location of EQLA.
     
    So arrived at the hotel and it was not bad considering it held a few Anime Conventions like Anime Expo in the past.
     
    Registration was a breeze and me and my bud went to the vendor room.
     
    It was pretty good.
    Got to see Jenn Blake's booth and Agnes Garbowska's booth
    (Both are comic artists on the MLP Comics for IDW)
    Picked up The Bronies Documentary and the Bronies 2 DVD. Along with A Brony Tale
    (Featuring Ashleigh Ball the voice of Applejack & Rainbow Dash in show) There were lots of local artists showing off their works and I was pretty impressed.
    From Plushies to fan art it was a whos who of mane 6 to other characters in the MLP Universe.
    The cosplayers were pretty neat saw A fan in a Rainbow Dash costume.
    Same person also did Applejack on Sunday.
    There were a few good ones out there from A Chrysalis to a bunch of Twilight Sparkle's Rarity's , A person in a Applebloom Costume, A Fluffy Puff, The Great & Powerful Trixie Cosplayer.
    The list goes on and on.
    Did enjoyed the MA Larson/Lauren Faust panel.
    Very down to earth and a sweet person Lauren is.
    Talking about the show from past to present.
    The read along VA panel with Tabitha St Germain (Rarity,Princess Luna etc)Michelle Creber (Applebloom) Black Gryphon was hilarious same with the Q & A.
    I missed John De Lancie's (Discord) First panel along with the poetry reading but did went to his second panel on Sunday and hes really nice.
    Downside is me and my bud missed Club Luna and see Michelle & Black Gryphon perform along with Tina Guo & William Anderson among other artists.
    (we was too bushed)
     
    But for a first timer as a brony going to my first con, it was on that i'll never forget.
     
    Cant wait for my next con trip weather its BABSCon in Northern California or Pacific Ponycon in San Diego we'll see what happens.

    Howdy all!
     
    Back with another con report this time I went to San Diego's (CA) first MLP Convention in Pacific Ponycon.
     
    My buddy & I went on a Saturday and it was pretty good.
    The Kona Lai Resort is a beautiful hotel on Shelter Island.
     
    The con had their banner outside the Hotel entrance.
    Got our 1 day passes with no trouble and we went and explored the hotel.
     
    Panels was pretty good.
    My buddy went to Tony Fleecs panel.

    While I went to the Whoofs Line Anyway panel wich was funny.
    After the panels we went to the dealers room and some of the vendors I recognize from our trip to EQLA
    I purchased a sketch from Tony's booth featuring the Equestria Girls with snow in the background(With Sunset Shimmer in the middle instead of Twilight Sparkle similar to the Pony photo with the Mane 6 in the Opening of the show from the first 3 seasons )
    And my bud bought some sketches from Tony as well.
    Next Panel was the Voice actor panel featuring Andrea Libman (Pinkie Pie/Fluttershy) Peter New (Big Macintosh) and making her first ever MLP Con is Rena Anakwe (Sapphire Shores)
    It was filled with lotsa laughs.
    Q&A went well. Con staff did asked the people who was asking questions to the actors not to ask them any season 6 subjects due to the NDAs and the panel was being recorded.
    (They dont want the actors ta get into trouble with the shows producers & Hasbro and the con itself be in hot water as well)
    Did asked them on how many times the fans asked they did their voices at other conventions.
    Too much was Andrea's reply and the other actors agreed.
    While I told them keep up the great work and told them You Rock Whoo-Hoo! (In my Fluttershy impression with Andrea Laughing)
    Next person asked to do their vocies (LOL)
    Rena did her SENSATIONAL-OWW!!! (In her Sapphire Shores voice) and it was pretty good.
    While Peter did his SCHMOOPY-DOO!
    I yelled in the back of the room SWEETUMS!!!! (Impressing Cheerilee wich Peter laughed)
    Andrea-yay!
    After the panel we went back to the vendor room and looked around.
    There were a few good cosplayers at the con
    A Rarity & Pinkie from Equestria Girls in their CHS Sweaters.
    A Gustav LeGrand cosplayer (From the MLP Episode MMystery on the friendship express)
    A Twilight & Rainbow Dash in HALO gear.
    Rainbow Dash & Pinkie in Pony costume.
    A King Sombra & Chysalis
    1 Luna & A Nightmare Moon.
    One of the vendors cosplayed Maud Pie.
    I was like NICE!!
    We went to Nowacking's panel and shes very nice.
    (Fan VA of DJ PON3)
    Didnt attend the dance cuz we had to leave early due to our jobs.
    But overall the staff and the attendees were really nice.
    We will be back for next year.
     
    Dunno whats are next trip maybe BABSCon or Everfree NW.
    We'll see. ($$$$ Permits)
