Brohooves Received

  1. i didn't even know that it had an alternate meaning D': is the fandom really into that? there's other nickname like words i've heard before, but i don't know what they are... oh, that's embarrassing
  2. hehe, i was really little when gen1 was in reruns, and they were really old then! i think my like for them is because of nostolgia. <3 i used to watch it with my brother and i loved it so much. now that i'm older, the style isn't as pleasing, but i can't help loving how familiar it is. plus it's fun to find all the animation mistakes! : D
  3. i've been doing furry artwork for years and while in school i listened to a lot of bashing...i love drawing the characters and know many members of the fandom personality, many the same are bronies as well (including myself). it hurts to hear, but i'm too shy and a bit scared to lean out there and say 'oh? well i'm one, let's talk about it.' even though i'm a girl, it doesn't seem to make much difference. but the fact still stands, there is nothing wrong with simply enjoying something. if it's not hurting anyone, why should anyone say anything negative about it? actually, when others have such a big problem with certain fandoms, i wonder why it is they are so bothered. i found out once one of the local furry bullies decided to hate all furries because one of them wouldn't friend him on myspace. . _ . what...a...terrible....reason! all fandoms seem to have a hatebase, D': but i think it's up to the members to handle any bullying calmly and maturely...or ignore it all together.
  4. looking forward to roller skating tonight <3

  5. oh, everyone was right, i am most like fluttershy? and not at all like rainbow dash, even though i like her character c: i can do fluttershys voice pretty well, it makes my older brony friend laugh and squeal ^ ^ oh, how wonderful <3
  6. i think as long as there are fans who enjoy the show, there will be a fanbase to support it. <3 i think it may be like sailor moon or dbz, even though they may end (actually, sailor moon has a new series coming out this summer! <3 so excited) everyone remembers them and keeps them up. making costumes, drawing fanart, and similar activities. ^ ^
  7. i think if you're old enough to enjoy and understand the show, anyone at any age can be one. if i was 6 years old today, i'm very sure i would enjoy the show <3
  8. many of my friends enjoy the show as well, we even talk about it and watch it together sometimes. c: i have one a pvc miniture of fluttershy hanging on my cellphone all the time. <3
  9. does anyone remember the calming hoof gesture Princess Cadence taught Twilight in the episode 'games ponies play'? been doing it a lot lately...it works! <3
  10. i'm very new as well actually! hope i am not over stepping my bounds by welcoming you here. i've been here only a short while, but so far everyone has been so kind! i hope you enjoy yourself. <3
  11. the last episode of season 3 actually felt a bit rushed to me, and when Twilight became a princess, i almost wondered if the episode was a dream. ; ^ ; i really enjoy when characters transform though, so i'm really one way and the other. i still wish this season wasn't half as long as the first two.
  12. hehe, this reminds me of a good friend i have. whenever he overhears something he's a part or a fan of being bashed, he makes a face and says "oh, really? i'm one, let's talk about it." ^ ^ this was a great way to handle someone being negative! you weren't rude, and even educated them a little on something they didn't know much about. my question is...if they don't like the show (even hate it) and have only seen one episode...how did they know there was a total of 65 episodes? o ^ o and the 3rd season only recently ended too...
  13. hehe, i think if anyone were to go to the trouble of animating a parody series as they have, they must enjoy the show and its characters to some degree. no matter how crude the humor. <3 my whole class was laughing at the animation style, and many are fans!
  14. i'll be honest, i'd be too shy. ; ^ ; maybe i could go with a friend to a meet-up at a convention. i've been around many many fans before, but i always feel really out of place. there are many boys who are fans of the show, and i end up being 1 of maybe 2 or 3 girls in the room. watching the show and drawing the character style is so much fun, and i enjoy it so much. but i feel a wall between myself and the male fans. maybe i couldn't be a brony because i'm not a bro? i was told there's a term for female fans...but i've forgotten what it was. ; ^ ;
  15. thank you ^ ^ i'll look into finding it, still figuring out the ropes here :'D i do! i actually used to draw digitally with the mouse as well in MS paint, that's where i got my start. <3 it's impressive when individuals have a talent with it, also shows patience, which is a very valuable trait in any artistic field. ^ ^ i draw digitally by hand using a cintiq monitor tablet and pen in Photoshop CS6 <3 i've been drawing since i was really little, and can't dream of doing anything else with my life. i'm very happy to meet others with similar passions! it's a pleasure to meet you ^ ^
