If Rainbow Dash stayed on the ground, then Applejack would easily win; she's got more power in her back legs. But RD could easily maneuver her way around any of her attacks due to her wings. Frankly, I'd think they'd be pretty evenly matched. AJ could always get around the whole flying thing by roping Dashie, or hitting apples with her tail, though.

I've always imagined ponies to be pretty small, like 3' or 4' high. Keeping their proportions, I'd guesstimate their weight to be about 50-60 lbs, with Celestia and Bulk Biceps being about 100+. Plus this may just be wish fulfillment--I've always wanted to give Pinkie Pie a piggyback. XD

I never seem to have the proper time to type out a review--they're coming, I promise!! But right now...I just want to say one thing. What the buck is up with Fluttershy's tooth!? Is that going to come up again in later episodes??

There's not a whole lot I can say that hasn't already been said. I think I respect AJ a lot more than I actually like her--I think she's the most human and the one with the least amount of necessary character development. I like her just the way she is. But at the same time...yes, I would like to see her a little more developed; say, having a disagreement with Applebloom, to highlight the differences between them, or talking to one of her friends about losing her parents. Heck, I actually want an explanation for AJ's missing parents. X_X

I don't have time right now to type a full review, but I liked this episode! That shot of Rarity prancing down the stairs with her nose in the air made my whole day, lol. I would have preferred the "we got sucked into a fictional world" thing being used in the Daring Do episode, but this was still very well done. But you know me, I love superhero episodes! ^^

I liked them all, but I'd have to pick Daring Don't. Rainbow Dash was out of character, and I didn't like the idea of Daring Do being real. Plus it just felt like a very clumsily handled episode.

Okay, I'm seeing a lot of people saying this episode is rushed. Which it is. But frankly, I enjoyed this episode more than any other episode in the season thus far--it squeaks by Castle Mane-ia by a narrow margin. I thought they were very neat in keeping people's headcanons intact, seeing as most people have a clean cut definition of "Scootaloo will fly when she gets older" and "Scootaloo will never fly because she's disabled". I thought the song was visually wonderful--that moment when the CMC are marching, and their shadows form a stallion? A bit predictable, but very nicely done. And don't even get me STARTED on how catchy that song is. I think I'm going to be humming it for days. "We've got hearts...as strong as horses!" I have a fondness for a good beat. ^^ I also liked that Diamond Tiara is kind of forming a distinct personality now--she knows that she's not better than everyone else at everything, but she knows she's better at manipulation. That's very diabolical, and very nice to see in a young, up-and-coming villain. All in all, I really liked it. This could have turned into a big, schmultzy mess with Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo, but...am I the only one who found Sleepless in Ponyville just a tad overdone? I kind of thought RD was a jerk in it, and she only accepted Scootaloo's friendship because it was an ego stroke. This felt like a really solid episode of showing Scootaloo trying things through herself, and then Rainbow Dash stepped in to give advice. ((Also, I like the idea of Scootaloo not learning how to fly.))

Finally watched this episode~ I think it's my absolute favorite of the season's so far. I can't type a full review now, but that song was the BEST. I also liked how quickly the CMC broke up when frustrated--very realistic to actual little girls. I'll chat more about it later.

Since everyone is acting silly, I figured I'd be the straight shooter and say what "Hot Horse" means to me. A hot horse is a quick-tempered or spirited horse who's very sensitive to outward stimuli, and therefore can be easily spooked. Arabs are the best definition of a hot horse to me--they're small, fast, and have a tendency to bolt if you give them the chance. Hot horses can be difficult to manage, but they're also excellent in competitions such as racing, since they'll give every shred of energy on the field. Anyway, I'm not sure what you're looking for here, but that's what I think of when I think of "hot horse".
