Wow. I haven't been here in eons. Well not really eons, but you get the idea.
Don't worry I still exist it's just that I am usually on Deviant Art. I recently got the official
Build A Bear outfits for Fluttershy, Rainbowdash, Twilight Sparkle, and Pinkie Pie.
And I am so glad that Rarity is coming out too. What is more they are also coming out with
Scootaloo and Sweetie Bell dolls too.

    I sound like a commercial don't I?

Well, it's Summer in Aripona and that means it's incredibly hot out. You would think that Celestia would tone the sun down about down here. It glares down on you while you fly around in the sky so as a result a lot of the pegasi here fly a lot closer to the ground and with the lack of clouds someponies around here have taken to creating massive dust storms.
Everypony likes to find ways to keep cool durring the Aripona Summers and some do this by literally like to roll around in the dust. Then they fly off covered in dust spreading dust everywhere.
Somepony by the name of Haboob Havoc got the idea to hold a contest one year to see if he could get everypony else to participate in making a massive dust storm. Well, alot of other ponies thought it was a great idea and decided to participate. Now when you consider that fact that Aripona has a large pegasi population and that everyone wanted to get cool you can guess what happened. Yup. There was indeed a massive dust storm. Some ponies were not happy about the dust storm especially those who had breathing problems and allergies. Others thought it was really cool.
Now every year in Aripona we have our annual duststorms, but they are done out where few ponies live so that those with allergies don't have to worry.

As I told you before the state of Aripona has a major pegasi population and that in Aripona anypony can own clouds so often only high class or rich pegasi get to actually live up in the clouds. There are some pegasi lucky enough to live in clouds because even though they are not rich they can afford to rent clouds from richer pegasi who often rent the clouds out for cheap.

Now for those of us who can't afford to own our own clouds or are fortunate enough to rent out clouds we often live in the mountains on sheer cliffs. I don't know how they do it because I am not a construction pony, but there are pegasi and griffons who use explosives to create family sized caves that are actually liveable.
Most of the caves are basically like a regular house except that it is inside of a large mountain and there are often other neighboring cave houses surrounding them. The caves of course have doors for privacy and little landing ledges.

Sometimes a pegasus or a griffon will land on the ledge and knock on the door for a visit, which was nice, but what really excited me was when earth ponies would sometimes drop in a couple of times. If you can't fly than these cave houses are pretty much inaccessable, and yet there were earth ponies who actually managed to climb up sheer cliff mountains to visit. When I asked an earth pony if they were afraid of the danger they merely told me that the danger was part of an adrenaline rush. Another earth pony said it was because she had been told all her life that there were things she could not do, and she wanted to prove everypony wrong.

Well that's all for now. I'm going off for a little fly.

Wow. It's been so long since I last said anything here. Anyways if there is one thing I miss these days it's actually having a home in the clouds.
You see here in the section of Equestria where I live called Aripona there are a huge amount of pegasi. Some ponies even refer to the state as "Airy Pona". Now some time ago there was a law made that pegasi could own clouds as property. Many upper class pegasi, including celebrities like living in the clouds where the property taxes are mush higher because it's private and they can afford it. These huge properties are made when upper class pegasi pay real estate companies to push large amount of clouds in certain areas together so that they can have their "cloud mansions" (as I like to call them) up in the sky. They often don't leave many clouds for anypony else and so many of us have to live on the ground.
Look. I'm not saying that living on the ground is bad, it's just that I miss the days when every pony wasn't so cloud greedy. Some of the Earth ponies that live here are complaining that the large "cloud mansions" sometimes cause rainstorms or block out the sun making it hard to grow stuff. Many ponies also believe that the "Cloud Ownership Right" is what lead to Aripona becoming a dessert as some places were left with no clouds and others had an over abundance of clouds.
You can tell also about the different class regions too. Richer areas will have more clouds and poorer areas will have less. Some have none at all.
I miss being on my own personal cloud because it is just so soft. I guess you don't realize what you have till it's gone.
I've tried sleeping on moss, but it just isn't the same. It was nice to fly around up in the sky and then take a break on a cloud for awhile. Now when I fly up in the sky I have to take the trip back down to the ground without stopping for a cloud break.

Someponies will come up to me and ask why I have dolls of human characters instead of the versions that are ponified. I realize why ponies like to have pony
versions of characters who are not ponies. It is because when you make something like yourself it becomes easier to relate to. This is why fiction often has characters around the same age as the target audience. It is their way of saying:
"Hey reader, everypony hear is just like you! These are your kind of ponies"
Well, I guess I'm a purist at heart when it comes to certain characters. If they were created to be a certain species than they should stay that species as respect to their creator. This is also because sometimes ponies get confused as to what kind of pony (or nonequine) species a character should be.
There was interest to do a ponified version of the old collection of tales known as "A Nightmare on Elm Street". The pony who thought of this was a stallion named
Wes Cloven. Mr. Cloven originally had the idea to make an alicorn because of Princess Luna's ability to see into dreams.
Well, Luna herself got word of this and wasn't really happy about the idea of a murderous monster that she felt was a personal attack on her. Not wanting to anger
Princess Luna or Celestia for that matter, decided to just make Freddy into a regular unicorn instead.
There is also the case of Leatherface from the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" folklore.
Originally ponified as an earth pony with the ponied name Bubba Sawbuck by Tobe Hoofer, Leatherface was redone by a Michael Rein with Leatherface this time having the name Thomas Hoovitt and being a pegasus. despite being in a family of eath ponies. Leatherface (Hoovitt) was made a pegsus in this version to point out that he had been adopted by Luda Mane Hoovitt the patriarch of the canibalistic Hoovit clan.
Now if you must know when it comes to Leatherface I prefer Thomas Hewitt (human name of course) to Bubba Sawyer (again human name) although I guess you could debate about weather or not they are the same character. The doll I have is of Thomas Hewitt by the way which is why he is seen to have a crudely made fake limb made from a human arm bone and a hook .
Now all this aside about the ponification of Human folklore I suppose I should discuss the most famous instance of a human character that came not from
Human Folkore, but from the mind of a regular pony. Many of us we'll remember the days when we would open up a book by author Ponnie Zacherein and read about strange looking ponies. Mrs. Z. had a strange way of drawing her fellow ponies, but what is interesting is that her books were fantasy stories about these pony characters interacting with a human girl named Megan as well as her two siblings.
Some ponies have suspected that there is more to these books then meets the eye, that at one point ponies did talk to humans like the character Megan, and that the strange design of the ponies was actually done to show how we ponies looked at an earlier point in our evolution. In other words some say that these tales take place in a time before the "Great Disappearance of Humanity" when humans somehow vanished without a trace.
There has been many ponies who have speculated differently about the fate of humans, but I think that is a topic for another day.
Right now I have to go fly off somewhere to do some shoppng down by Sweet Apple Acres.

I have often envied unicorns and alicorns for their ability to write without using their mouths.
I do know of a few non magical ponies who have also adapted this trait somehow and are able to hold
writing utensils in their hooves, but it's not something I've ever been able to do.
Oh, sure. I can hold one of my dolls up with my hooves, but there is a difference between being able to hold
a doll up, and being able to hold something up and actually use it to make intricate marks. So like some
of you pegasi, earth ponies, and maybe a few of you yet to be magically trained unicorns, here I am
writing this blog with my mouth and wishing for for once that I had the same appandages as many of
my dolls that sit on one of the shelves in my humble little home.
My dolls are based off of creatures known as humans. To be exact they are based off of the human mythology
known as the "movie slashers". As to weather or not any of these humans actually existed or were only the
stuff of fantasy is something I really don't exactly know. Anyways I'll talk about that later...
I'm going off topic here. What I was saying before is that they all have appendages that somehow let them
grasp stuff. These appendages are more like the claws of a griffin or dragon. Just like griffins and dragons they seem
to have an appendage that ends in smaller appendages.
With humans it is different.. They don't have claws like the dragons or griffons. Instead their (I suppose their toes) on all
four of their legs ended in rather flat like structures. Now what is odd is that according to some studies they would actually
    paint these strange structures.
What is also interesting to note is that humans became so adapt at using the appendages on their front legs for grasping, writing,
and using materials that the appendages became longer. The appendages on the human hind legs remained shorter, but as a
result of further evolution these back appandages became the primary means of locomotion leaving the upper appendage completly
    free to do other things.
Don't you wish it was like that for us? I mean it would be nice to walk on your hind legs and be able to use your front ones to carry stuff instead
of having to lug stuff in your mouth all the time?
Well, at least as a pegasus I at least can sometimes carry a few items via my wings.
Still, it does make flying rather impossible when I have to do so.
