" surgery? Here? We are in battlefield situation! Look... That adrenaline shot every medic carries... Not only are they carrying adrenaline, but researchers have recently infused the with medical nanoids that seek out damaged internals and repair them at an astounding rate. Use that on him. But damn... Out one adrenaline shot after the first skirmish.... Looks like this mission will be tougher than imagined." Two gunships with magnetically attached jeeps soared ahead. They dropped altitude, and unlatched the vehicles and let them land at the end of the exit ramp. They then flew off. " that's our inquiry. Howard, use that adrenaline shot. That should get him up. Everyone else. To the vehicles. Mount up and lets ride. Remember, their forces may be light on our path, but they will still put up a decent fight." He signaled for the others to come to him.

Tyrias looked back towards the team. In the street, he saw comet unconcious on the ground. He gasped and ran to him. He kneeled beside him and checked his pulse. " okay... Still alive..." He spoke into the mic and called for the nearby team. " I need a medic! Comet is unconcious!" He then switched comm channels and reported the event. " this is tyrias Nero, captain of the angels squad. We have an unconcious squad mate. Tending to him now. Expect slight mission delays." He yelled out. " I need a medic!"

The mortar had helped to clear out most of the outpost remnants, and pretty much decimated the small, makeshift structure. Only one remained crawling, only to be stopped by tyrias, who planted a hoof on its back and kept it from crawling. He spoke to the machine, knowing that flare would hear him through the audio receptors. " guess which ghost came back to haunt you flare? That's right. The ghost of a sinning saint. You'll pay for slaying my past comrades." After he said this, tyrias shot the automaton, execution style in the head. He called out to the team with his mic. " the outpost has been taken. Good job everyone. Nuero, about that idea to hack the lieutenant bot... If you're sure you can do it, then we can try. And nuero, Lon, go easy on the mortars. Haha save them for a more sizable enemy for-....." Tyrias grabbed his side. Blood started dripping from his mouth. He started breathing hard. The dysfunctional lung was acting up. He wiped away the blood with his hoof. This was a bad time. Coughing. More blood. Soon, the spell stopped, and he was left in a slightly weakend state. " dammit... Not here...." He mumbled to himself. He shook it off, hoping the others didnt see or hear. " as I was saying..." He spoke back into the communicator. " good job team. This was our first combat situation and we came out the winners. The exit ramp is just ahead. Everyone, make for it. And good job. Ahead, there will small forces, as they weren't expecting anyone to come this way. We will have to make our way uptown, by the bridge over the Zanner river. Once through the bridge, the middle of town shouldn't be that hard to get to. Command informed me earlier before the mission that two military jeeps armed with heavy machine guns would be dropped at the end of the exit ramp. They should be arriving any minute. One jeep can hold 3. A gunner, a passenger, and a driver. I'll be driving one of the jeeps. One will have to ride upon nuero and Lon's mech. Are you two okay with that?" He asked as he was stumbling a little towards the exit ramp, not 50 feet from the outpost they just took. " everyone, form up on me. We have alot of work to do."

Tyrias came out from cover and pulled out " saint ". With both guns in hand, he shot down four of the automatons, hitting anywhere from the chest up. He slowly pushed up toward the outpost, where at least 10 remained. He hid behind a destroyed SUV and took potshots at the enemy. He nailed another one right in the left visual receptor, and ducked down again. " everyone! Status! If able, rush the outpost! There are only nine left! Comet! They are packed tight! We're going to need you to drop some of them for us!" He took another potshot, and hit one in the arm.

Yup. We are. Everyone get ready. No going back now XD. Scribblegroove, prepare to drop Action!

Silence. Then, gunfire pointed at the convoy from the freeway. He driver yelled " HOTZONE REACHED! READY TO DISEMBARK AT CAPTAIN TYRIAS's COMMAND!" The vehicle stopped. The armor plateing protected the team, albeit temporarily. The back hatch opened, so the team could exit. Tyrias opened the comm link to Lon and nuero. " Nuero, Lon, drop now! We are here! Everyone else, out! Use the debris as cover! Lets go!" Tyrias charged out head first. He pulled out sinner, preferring to only use one gun for increased accuracy. He went around the truck, and hid behind a car. Enemy fire was abundant. They had made a little outpost from debris. That outpost would be taken by the angels. A straggler automaton charged tyrias's position. Tyrias popped out, and shot the automaton in its head, where the central mainframe was. He called out to the rest of the team while ducking back down. " Base model private automatons! Weaklings! Small firearms get easy kills! Take the outpost!" Tyrias ran out from the car toward the outpost. As he was running, he popped two more automatons in the head with pinpoint accuracy as he made his way a large, collapsed piece of wall. The skyscrapers around the freeway had a second use after all. Providing cover after falling. He waited on the rest of the team to push up with him.

The driver yelled back again. " 5 minutes till hot zone entry" Tyrias stood up and yelled, exerting a side he didn't like to show. " COMET, NUERO, LOCK IT DOWN! NOW! you are acting like a bunch of immature children! We are heading into a combat situation. Lives can be lost! Now quit fighting amongst yourselves, and save it for the enemy! You there, comet, I don't know what beef you have with everyone today, but you better get over it. Real quick. And where did all that bravado go A minute ago? this is real life. This is war. So prepare. We're going in, scared or not!" He also spoke to the earpiece/mic. " and nuero, do not test me today. I might be able to tolerate a slight smart ass whimsical nature, but not when it's affecting the team! Prepare to drop. I-72 is just ahead. And don't worry.... That's for the main army. The thing we are hunting is bigger than those. And by the way nuero... About the hacking. In theory it would work. However, flare has encrypted them with viruses if we try to hack into an automaton. The whole battle network could get infected." He sat down and drew a breath. God help him lead this group. " everyone... We are about to experience full combat. Ready yourselves. Remember. Use the debris from skyscrapers and abandoned vehicles as cover. The group we are fighting contains 30 automatons, all on foot. We get through them, it should be slim pickings until we reach the commanding automaton."

Haha I wasn't exactly thinking about that but that is a good way to sum it up. If you want to talk about games, private messege me. This is an rp thread after all XD Also, the action begins when everyone has logged with the scribe. Just a little final roll call.

Non fatal and non terminal. The scribe stopped filming tyrias. Scribe- " okay, who wants to be next?" Tyrias sat back down.

Sure thing. All mechs are dropped via airship anyways. You'll be dropped around the hot zone and meet us. Since we are in the beginning, you don't even need me to write you in. Just have it to where your OCs are preparing and are almost ready to drop. I have no problem with you using two OCs for the mech.

Tyrias overheard starflash and chuckled a bit. He would decide to break away from his quiet nature and make an acquaintance with everyone here. " haha, indeed. I don't think anyone here expected to be fighting this war, but here we are. I was going to save it for when we got closer, you know, let us have our calm before the storm, but I guess now is as good a time as any. Our primary objective right now is to use the diversion being created by the military and elite police task forces to get deep into the metropolitan area of the city, and take out a model S-072 lieutenant model of mech. It is serving as the hive mind for all of the automatons in the area, keeping their strategy data for them. We destroy that automaton, we send them into a tizzy and they will be much easier to kill. Be warned, until we destroy it, they will act as if they had flesh and blood minds when it comes to war. Expect them to have their own formations and methods of attack. After the fighting has settled down, we will establish a makeshift base here and commander rezan will come to direct our forces. While most of the NMGA forces are taking on army forces on the eastern outskirts of the city, we are coming in through the south. Freeway 72 is where we are going. There is a small enemy force conglomerating there to make sure no one gets through. Our objective is to punch through on foot as they have set road mines all over the place. Debris from skyscrapers and destroyed and abandoned vehicles will be our cover. Once through, we will take an exit ramp and fight the small guard forces all the way to the middle. Now. We are a team. As far as I'm concerned, we are blood. We protect each other. I don't know any of you that well yet, but I can already tell that you all are worth giving my life to protect. Now. The soldier at the end is a scribe and will be recording our beginning and end statuses on this operation. Be sure to include name, class, equipment, major body alterations like modified limbs, and equipment. " The driver looked back and yelled " 10 minutes till hot zone is reached!" Tyrias looked and noded, then turned back to the angel team. " to develope a bit of trust, tell everyone a little secret about yourself. Like as for me.... It has been four long months since new Diaxion was attacked by the terrorist army known as the N.M.G.A. ( new mechanized generation army). This group is funded, lead, and organized solely by a pony known only as Flare, who stated that his purpose in life was the destruction of the " weaker, unevolved flesh". his army first sprung up in new Diaxion approximately 5 months ago, attacked the city, and took it. Now flare is using the city as a base to fuel his operations and create more mechanized units. The base where he forms his plans and the manufacturing plant are well hidden within the city. The equestrian army and new Diaxion elite police force have formed the new Diaxion angels, a strike force comprised of the best of the best. The equestria army has also been working on special, 8ft mechs to help combat flare's army. However, they are only there as distraction and support. The angel strike team is what penetrated deep into enemy lines and accomplishes important objectives. Our story begins with the angel team in a convoy heading into the city. The army has started the attack on new Diaxion and are trying to take part of it back to establish a base in the area. The convey is going to drop the angels off on a freeway that leads into the metropolitan area of the city. Take it back, and commander rezan can land his unit, make a makeshift base, and plan on what to do next. The liberation of new Diaxion will be a long and grueling campaign, but one that could once again lead to peace and stability. Fight hard. Operation horned owl: commence. ------------------------------- RP: begin. Tyrias was reading a small, pocket sized book, entitled, " inferno ". His favorite. He might as well, seeing as though he might not get to read for awhile, or maybe even never again. This was a new enemy. Not one of flesh, but one of machinery. And he knew all too well. During the second month of the invasion of new Diaxion, he was sent in to fight back along with a platoon of solidiers. They did not expect much of a fight, and it cost them dearly. At the time, their weapons weren't fit to fight this new mechanical threat. It was a massacre that tyrias and only a few others survived. Due to the I.C.E. that he attained ( initial contact experience) along with leadership qualities and capabilities, was chosen for the angels. Still, they knew of his obtained physical defect... Why would they choose him? It would only slow the group down. But oh well. He'd contribute his best and would make flare pay for the destruction of new Diaxion. He put up his book and took out his 2 pistols. Both had inscriptions on them. One was " saint " and the other was " sinner ". He loved his Cherished .45 pistols very much. He inspected them, and made sure the firing mechanism worked. When he finished, he put them away in their holsters and looked around at the rest of the angels strike force in the convoy. It was a very diverse group. He kept silent, only speaking when spoken to. They were going into the metropolitan area. The objective was to kill the enemy lieutenant and clear out the hostiles in the area along with the new specialized mechs, being dropped into the city by airship. The convoy was nearing the destination. If the others had anything to say, they would need to say it now.

@alex Kennedy Alright, as soon as vesperia gets his OC in, we can start. If you have anyone who might be wiling to fill in the last 2 spaces, it'd be great if you have them a ring XD

We have reached the minimum number needed to start. For everyone looking at this through the forums, remember we still have 2 spaces left. Come and fill them! @Alex Kennedy Sure thing. The axe will of course come equipped with what's needed to cut through the machines. That said, how big is this axe? A one hand war axe or a two hander? If its a two hander, then would you have a problem trading it for the rpg? @derpy knight It's cool if you want to join but... That OC.... Just might be a little ridiculous. I'm sorry friend. The only reason I'm afraid to have changling characters in RPs is because there was one not too long ago where I tried running a legend of the dragoon RP and one of the OCs was an insane changling who's personality would change everytime the character took another form. I'm sorry I was just taking precautions. I will omit that rule XD. @ moonlight7starshine- don't worry I'm an open minded individual. Im just trying to keep everything from going OP as it is, as the mech class is already a little over the top XD. Were you wanting to roleplay as an alicorn? If so, send an OC link.
