  1. I think for comical purposes the cutie mark crusaders should never get their cutie marks. XD Or at least hold off the cutie marks until the very last season of the show.
  2. Are you kidding me? Death in My Little Pony? What the hay is wrong with you ponies? I like watching ponies because the show is funny and adorable. There's no need for it to be dark or more mature. It just needs clever story-telling and good acting which it already has, to be a good show. No pony needs to die. There are already some references in the show that are mature for little girls any way.
  3. I kind of like how Octavia and Vinyl don't talk. I fear if they try to develop their characters too far they'll lose that charm.
  4. Here's what I had in mind. Twilight Sparkle - Lead Vocals Apple Jack - Acoustic Guitar, backing vocals Pinkie Pie- Drums Rainbow Dash - Electric Guitar Rarity - Keyboards Fluttershy - Bass Spike would be the band manager. Their first album would be called Friendship is Magic. Here's their track list. 1. Take My Hoof -Single 2. Too Many Apples 3. Fabulous 4. Cute Bunnies 5. The Pinkie Song 6. Everypony Sing! 7. Friendship is Magic 8. 20% More Awesome 9. The Perfect Spell 10. Rainbows 11. Running to Manehattan 12. Winter Wrap Up (Rock Version) (Bonus Track) 13. At the Gala (Rock Version) (Bonus track)
  5. Just for fun! Who would play what instrument? Who would sing? What would their first album be called? Song names? What kind of rock would they play?
  6. I wouldn't call myself a hater but I am really turned off by the show because it's clear it was made to show off the mane 6 as humans instead of ponies. And I'm sitting here questioning why they would do something like that. Without ponies what's the point? It's the mane subject matter of the show. Even if it's just a spin off and the regular MLP FiM will still air; I still wonder why they'd release this show. It's MLP with 90% of its charm taken away.
  7. Twilight has the best ones. Like when she goes crazy. But I think almost everypony has gone insane on one occasion or at least out of character. XD
  8. Well I only got into it because a few of my friends from another forum were posting pony gifs all the time plus other close friends of mine were really into it, so of course I gave it a chance. I watched the first 2 episodes of season 1 to start off. 5 minutes into it, I was like why the hay am I watching this but as it went on I kind of started to enjoy it. Then I watched episode 3 then 4 then 5 then 6 and after about a month I had seen seasons 1 and 2 and began waiting for season 3. These are the things that appeal to me about the show. Not in any certain order. 1. The art style - I love cartoons and I go to art school to study illustration so shows that look unique would naturally get my attention. 2. The characters - The mane 6 are easily some of the most 3-Dimensional characters I have ever seen in animation. All 6 of them are lovable, believable, and the actresses that voice and sing for them are amazing. I think the characters are the biggest strenghth of this show in my opinion. 3. The story telling - This isn't your average kid's show story telling. Nothing appears to be unoriginal plot-wise. There are times where I've found some parts of the story to be predictable but that didn't ruin the episode for me. The character interactions are never predictable and those are what makes the show that much more interesting. I still await the day where we see Pinkie Pie locked in a room with Twilight for a day. It'd be interesting to see how long it takes for Pinkie to drive Twilight insane. 3. This show just makes me happy. I can't put into better words. I'm a 22 year old guy who finds this show adorable. I actually find this show funny because of how cute it is in nature aside from the jokes the show has. To me it's kind of like a new kind of humor that's hard to find. Kind of like the movie Enchanted that's funny because of how cheesy it is. To me MLP is funny because of how cute it is. I mean for pony's sake even the names are adorable. Sweetie Bell, Applebloom, Pinkie Pie, Scootaloo, Twilight Sparkle. Look me in the eye and tell me nothing about this show makes your heart melt. I'm not obssessed with the show at all and I will usually watch a couple episodes a week but I don't buy toys, got to conventions, cosplay, or anything. I just watch the show really. I will say it's a favorite of mine as far as cartoons go. The show just has so much charm to it that it can't be ignored.
  9. Why the hay is everypony bringing up toddlers? Toddlers are kids from the ages of around 1-4. That's way to young for MLP. I would say 6 or 7 years would be the youngest for watchers of the show.
  10. I named myself after my favorite type of cookie dough. Or more specifically cookie dough ice cream. I've been going by Tollhouse for 9 years now.
  11. I am a big time super smash bros fan. I play brawl mostly and sometimes melee. I'm also a big fan of Zelda and Metal Gear Solid and I also like the Silent Hill series and Mario Kart too!
  12. Ok besides ponies here are my favorites. Not in any specific order. Prison Break South Park Naruto Shippuden The Animaniacs Invader Zim The Middle Jeeves and Wooster One Piece Robot Chicken
  13. This is a very strong start. As well was what everypony else said I think her tail needs to be a little bit longer. Notice how it's a little longer then the length of her body? Plus the hat should be a little bit bigger.
  14. Welcome to Ponyville! I think you'll like it here. I'm new too and I'm enjoying this place.
  15. What the hay? Trixie with the elements of harmony? That's crazy talk. She's Trixie for pony's sake. It took her 2 seasons to learn her lesson in friendship. That's just pathetic.
  16. How could Rarity's generosity come into question? She makes dresses for all her friends and doesn't ask for anything in return.
  17. But... if they start staying that in conversation, it could raise concern for the parents because it's so close to saying hell. But yeah the parents would have to be the really strict type.
  18. Oh... I could've sworn I've heard them say it before. I might've just misread your first post. Well anyway, "What the hay" is pretty suggestive as well too.
  19. But my point was they said "what the buck" on the show. It's highly suggestive enough to the point that it's innapropriate for the target audience. That's what I'm saying.
  20. I've always thought ever since the finale there may come a time when she chooses to give up her princesshood so she could stay with her friends. Sounds like something very plausable for the show. The alicorn twist could've been used as a cliff hanger so everypony would hype up the next season.
  21. What the buck? lmao Seriously, that is what I'd call crossing the line as far as what's appropriate for cartoons these days. I'm surprised they got away with that.
  22. I remember reading on wiki that Spike does a dance from a 70's musical in one episode. Some of the references in the show can be very obscure. Plus on occasion they'll have ponies of real life celebrites like Frank Sinatra and stuff. XD
  23. Also the A-Team reference in that episode with Babs. I can't think of much dirty jokes in MLP. I find it funny whenever somepony says "What the hay?" Little things like that make the show that much more enjoyable and appealing.
  24. Wow I never thought of that. MLP is pretty close to the 90's cartoons, especially humor wise even with the lack of sexual innuendos and drug references. Actually scratch the drug references. I remembered the spike in the bowl pun and that scene with the donut extra sprinkles. XD
  25. If anything I think the show is kind of for all ages like Pixar movies. There's something for everypony in MLP FiM. Remember all those pop culture references they include that little girls couldn't possibly be familiar with?
