I can sort of relate. I feel kind of alone at school when I'm not hanging out with my group of friends, and I feel like I'm too shy to even get to know anyone else.
It didn't strike me until I was at my graduation, but I doubt I'll ever see my group of friends again. Which, that, in itself, contributed heavily to my feelings of isolation before I began my college life.
