  1. "Yeah. Well it's hard keeping one going when you're in a brothel, huh?" Rain kept a perfectly straight poker face. "I mean, hanging out with all the 'floosies'...must be hard to maintain one."

  2. Cloud smiled kindly at Rain, "It's ok, you tried, that's all that counts" he said. He looked outside at the fire rain, and his smile faded, "How could this happen to us?" he said sadly. He turned to Flynn, "Whatever will help doc" he said

Rain nodded, sadly. "Does anyone know who's behind it, anyways?"
  3. Rain's face contorted for a few seconds. "What...the...hell," she said slowly, backing up slightly. Noticing his sly smile, she returned it with one of her own. "I'm not sure if that was genuine, or just to shock me, but either way-I'm kind of taken."

  4. "It's a cooling spell." Flynn mentioned, focusing on the area. "Since I don't want to use ice right now, and I don't want to go through that wingsuit of yours, this'll be a good subsitute." he turned to Cloud and eyed his wing. "Hey, you still want me to help your wing out?"

Rain smiled again, sadly. "Thanks. Mr. Breezy bought me this one, it's a personal favourite..."

She also looked at Cloud. "Sorry I couldn't do much else earlier."

  5. "Alright then." Flynn said, as his horn started to glow blue. "Now I need you to stay still. This is gonna get cold." A similiar blue haze appeared around Rain's leg, trying to cool down the pain from pulling her muscle.

Rain squirmed a little but stayed still, watching carefully. "That already feels better...thank you!" she smiled at him.
  6. "You as well? Let me take a look at it." Flynn said as he crawled over to Rain's right, and slowly started poking at her right hindleg. "Tell me where it hurts."

Rain gestured to the upper part of her leg. "Right there. I might have pulled it when I was...you know...dragging myself across the ground."
  7. Flynn nodded, and pointed his head at Cloud. "He's right ya know. Now's the time we have to work together instead of lose ourselves." He reflected back on his own foster mother, Olive, and how she might be handling the situation herself.

Rain nodded again and stood up shakily, then staggered, before collapsing again.

"I think I screwed my leg up, too," she muttered sheepishly.

  8. Flynn went closer to Rain, and laid a friendly hoof, his only hoof, on her shoulder. "I'm sorry."

Rain just nodded, closing her eyes and breathing deeply.

"I appreciate it," she said slowly, as though afraid she would start to scream again if she spoke normally.

  9. Flynn didn't say anything. He lowered his head and shook slowly before replying back. "...this time, they're not. I don't think they're joking."

    Rain just shook her head.

"No! This isn't real, this isn't happening!"

  10. "We all have those moments... don't sweat it..." Flynn said, taking interest in Rain's dead expression after hearing the terrible news. He fell speechless and didn't know what to say to her at this point.

Rain rolled her gaze over to him.

"They're joking...right?" she asked hoarsely. "All this is just a bad dream...you're all in my head...you're all in my head..." She kept repeating this like some sort of sick prayer.

  11. Rain's hopeful face suddenly blanked. Her eyes seemed to glaze over and she just put her head down and said nothing, staring into space as though she, too, was dead.

  12. (Mr. Breezy died, for the record. #like a troll)

Rain watched as everyone left, wishing she could go too. "Thank you all, so much..." she whispered.

"Hey, I did nothing. Yet at least..." Flynn shrugged, keeping his eye on the door Colt left through before turning back to Rain. "...so, you don't mind if I ask your name? I'm Cricket."

"I'm Raindancer. Nice to meet you. Sorry for raging at you earlier," she said sadly.
  13. "listen, your in no condition to help anyone at the moment, if we all got out, im sure he got out too"

"Well find him!" she yelled again, not caring if she was disturbing anyone else. "He's old, he won't be able to get very far...just please, he needs my help!"

She glanced at Flynn as Colt left. "Thanks," she said, feeling a bit sheepish.

  14. Rain just glared at him. "Well you're acting like a two-year-old. No wonder they locked you up, if you lose control that easily." She then crossed her legs and looked at the log. "AND you ruined my seat."

  15. Rain glared at Flynn and Colt. The throbbing was clearing up and now all she felt was rage.

"What is WRONG with you people?! My foster dad is in there! Let me help him!" She tried to stand up and leave again, but couldn't even rise.

  16. "Oh, wow, you must've been locked up a while if you don't know what that is," said Rain. "Well I'd explain but it's a little inappropriate for children such as yourself." She walked over calmly and tried to help Stitches up. "And kids shouldn't play with knives, either. How about we put it away and play nice?"

  17. Rain struggled and trashed on the floor. "Let me go!" she screamed, but she couldn't hear herself through the pounding in her head. She felt like she was going to explode. "Let me GO!!!"

  18. Rain ignored everyone. Blood was pounding in her ears and she felt herself getting weak with tears as she tried desperately to crawl forwards. All there was was the roaring of the fire and her own terrified screams.
