Ampharos

Prologue "The forest was dark, dank, and overall just miserable. The musky smell was overwhelming, nearly bringing me to tears a few times. I still wasn't entirely sure how I got there, the blizzard had completely separated me from the others. I know that's ironic, but those first couple days, almost a week, were pretty terrible. That is, until I came across something. I found a small Ghost Pokemon, a Phantump with eyes full of tears. She looked really young, possibly newly hatched, and incredibly lost. She looked at me with her huge, red, tear-filled eyes, her lip trembling while she was on the verge of tears. I scooped her up, not able to bear watching her any longer, and tried to soothe her and cradle her. She seemed to calm down quite a bit after that, and actually ended up falling asleep in my claws. She was so cute... She reminded me of my sister... So I decided to 'adopt' her, I guess. I named her Clarion, a name she seemed to like, and we lived in that forest for almost 3 years. After that, I tried finding a place we could live together, but noone would take us. We've been wandering ever since, and I think we might be for quite a while."

@@Leafeon,@@Vaporeon, Locke laughed happily at the click of the Pokeball. "Ace! We got our third member! Let's keep... Oh wait she's really hurt. And I'm not sure how far the next city is. Let's just go back to Aspertia real quick." Locke hurried back towards the city, healed up Revvy and his new Sentret, and went back onto the route, still completely oblivious to the gym there. He saw a girl on his way to the city, and when he saw her again on his way back, he gave her a short wave as he continued on to the next city. Locke had returned Revvy to his Pokeball, and had let out Sentret. She seemed slightly out of it, having just been so abruptly frightened and then captured. "I think I'm gonna call you Vera, for a somewhat complicated reason." Vera seemed to relax a bit at having a unique name to herself. Not a lot of trainers did something like that, from what she could tell. Locke smiled at this and continued walking, straight through the uninteresting Floccesy Town and onto Route 20. He didn't particularly want to catch a new Pokemon so soon, but he still made his way slowly through the Route on his way to Virbank City.

@@Umbreon,@, Alery wasn't sure whether to smile at the Buizel's tenacity and technique, or whether to scream at for being smugger than his old Luxray! Abby was also getting furious, but she was definitely starting to tire out. "Gah! Abby just come back! Walter, you're up! Show me what you can do! Quick Attack!" Walter, already excited for the battle, had charged up a Focus Energy while Alery had been talking. Now, he rushed forward at the Buizel, hoping his smaller body would give him a maneuverable advantage over the Buizel as well as make it hard for it to see him easily. Alery seemed to focused on the battle to notice Abigail's greeting. Alery's Growlithe, Vulcan, however, bounded over to the friendly girl, tongue lolling around. "Grow?"

@@Leafeon, Locke grinned widely and pumped his fist into the air. "Ah, grand! Nice work Revvy!" The shiny Gastly gave a eerily large smile in return as Locke tried fishing a Pokeball from his bag while also trying to hold Clarion and keep her away from the Pokedex in his pocket. "Clarion I just... Clair wait a sec... Clair I'm trying to- Got it! Alright Sentret, will you be the first member of my Unova team? Let's- Clarion!" Locke chucked a Pokeball at Sentret and quickly fished the tiny Phantump out of his pocket. Locke wasn't too worried about the Sentret. The only way it would break free in this state would be if it was particularly strong willed. If or when Locke did catch it, he was going to take it back to Aspertia quickly to heal it up before continuing on his journey to the next city. Hopefully there would be a gym there!

@@Umbreon, Abby spluttered and cawed angrily, and upon seeing the Buizel barely moving, she cried even louder. Without waiting for a command, the Murkrow dived forward the short distance between the two Pokemon, this time attacking with Pursuit, a more powerful move than the Peck she had used previously. Alery grinned at the strategy of the Pokemon, since he had been about to tell her to use Pursuit anyway. ________________________________ Callie woke up groggily, grinning as she saw the time. She had woken up kind of late, but that wasn't why she was grinning. Today was the day she actually went on an adventure with Moss! The two had been planning, albeit somewhat one-sided, since she had turned 14. Her mother had recently told her that she could go on a journey, since her brother Cedric had come back from his travels and was going to stay for quite some time. She climbed down the stairs, still in her pajamas, and took a seat at the table with her dad and Cedric, while her mother was finishing up a brunch, since nobody woke up early enough for breakfast. "Morning Ceddy. Morning Dad." "Mmm..." the boy mumbled, not entirely awake. His hair stuck out at odd ends, and his head jerked up every once and a while before it could slam into the table. Her father however, was simply mumbling to himself, eyes darting around as he held a nonexistent newspaper. It seemed he had managed to string in a "Morn'" before he continued mumbling. After a little while, he held up his hands and tilted his head back, as if trying to show his wife something on the paper. "Look honey, it says someone's coming home after being away for a long time! Isn't that nice?" Marie simply smiled as she brought over some pancakes and other things. "Oh, would that happen to be Revvy?" The family had recently got a call that the final child of the Witlock family was coming home for a quick visit on his way to Kanto. But Callie's father shook his head. "No, it isn't Sherrinford. Someone who has been away for a reaalllllly long time. I think he's gonna stop by!" Callie and Marie simply smiled at Sherrinford Sr. while he continued to "read his paper". Callie's father had been the way he was since she could remember, but there was a time where the purple haired man was simply a miner from faraway Oreburgh City. But that's a different story for a different time. Callie wasn't really listening afterwards, eating quickly and slipping some to the Trapinch under the table. She'd be leaving by the afternoon. ((Bit of a wall of text, but I couldn't help myself XD There are certain times where I like back story ))

@@Leafeon, Revvy simply chuckled as the Normal Pokemon charged forward. The attack obviously wouldn't- "Gast!?" the Gastly's thoughts were interrupted by a spot on hit right in his face. Locke snorted and shook his head. "Did you forget it hit you with Fury Swipes? Pay attention you dope." Revvy tried to stick his tongue out defiantly, to no real avail. Huffing and puffing, he quickly turned around, spraying acid all over the place in the direction of the Sentret.

Holy crap. This is so good! And this is Case & Point's second Monstercat release. After this and Savage, I'm definitely on the Case & Point hype train!

@@Leafeon, ((I know! I'm really starting to like these three! It's gonna be sad when Clarion evolves into a scary ghost tree though )) Revvy tried to put on a smile, but after getting 4 swipes at his face, he grumbled angrily and cried out. He started spraying the Sentret with acidic green goop, using Venoshock on the poor thing. Hearing the scuffle, Locke hurried over to the two Pokemon. "Revvy enough! A lot of these things live back home. It's a Sentret I think. I think we should catch it, so ease up there bud. Oh get ready though, since it's probably had enough time to retaliate." Locke stuck his tongue out as the Gastly whipped back around towards the Sentret. Clarion just watched intently, trying to absorb Revvy's techniques. Too bad she didn't know any moves that she could spit at others... Darn.

@@Leafeon Locke simply chuckled and went to grab the thing, but Clarion was making grabby motions for it with her stubby little arms, so he lifted her up and let her grab it. He stuck his foot out in anticipation in case she dropped it. "Think nothing of it. I'm used to it with these tw-" Yup, there it goes. His Pokemon simply giggled profusely as he bent down to pick the Pokedex off his foot. When he stood back up straight, he stuffed the hand with the pokedex in his jacket pocket, still carrying Clarion with the other arm and then smiled at the purple haired girl. "Thanks, by the way!" He gave her a wink as he turned towards the door and promptly walked out without another word. "Alright guys, where should we go first?" Clarion looked up from her attempts at taking the Pokedex out of Locke's pocket, and quickly pointed her little hand at the only Route in sight, Route 19. Oblivious to the fact that there was a gym in this city, Locke quickly took off at Clarion's decision as Revenant followed closely behind. Once on the route, Locke quickly scanned the area. The Glameow and Swablu looked quite appealing, but Locke became curious as to what was lurking in the grass. "Hey Revvy, could you go check that out. I don't want Clarion getting hurt." "Lyyy?" "That's not what I meant you dope. If anything it's a compliment to you. I wasn't saying I wanted you-" Locke just stopped and sighed as the Pokemon floated towards the lurking thing, cackling at Locke's flustery... flusterness.... fluster?

@@Celtore, At the end of the Greninja/Charizard trailer, it shows Mega Lucario and Mega Charizard X, so one could only presume they're Final Smashes, especially since they showed Greninja's Final Smash in the same couple seconds. Which by the way looks freakin awesome. Now about Greninja. Honestly, it's not at all what I expected. I didn't even think of Charizard coming as his own character for that matter. But Greninja looks really cool, so I'm fine with it. I couldn't care less if Ness, Jigglypuff, and Captain Falcon aren't confirmed. I never played those three anyway, and they aren't done with the characters. Hell, they introduced 4 or 5 new characters before confirming Diddy Kong. And seriously, do you think they won't be in it? Ness, Jigglypuff, and Falcon have been there since the original Super Smash Bros. Why would they get rid of them?

@@Leafeon, Locke had gotten so terribly lost it was ridiculous. He had fallen asleep on the shuttle, and it would have gone off from Aspertia with him still on it, if a certain Gastly hadn't popped out of it's Pokeball and practically suffocated the man with the gas around it's body. Once Locke had gotten off, he had just barely missed the guide. Now he wandered around Aspertia, his Pokemon giggling every time he passed the Seekers building. "Why didn't you guys wake me when I stopped? None of these places scream 'Unova Pokedex' to me! And why are you guys giggling so much!?" The Phantump in his arms chuckled and pointed a stubby arm at the Church-like building he was literally pacing in front of. He went to whack Revvy up side the head, but his hand hit 95% gas and went straight through the Pokemon. As the Gastly and Phantump giggled in unison, Locke simply grumbled and walked into the building, pushing his glasses farther up his nose as he did so. "I'm not too late am I?"

@@Umbreon, Alery looked around at the Pokemon in distress. "Jeez they're as impressive as you Walter... Oh uh... Yea I'm just so overwhelmed!" He quickly tried to fix his statement, but the small Rattata didn't shift his hard gaze. Trying to change the subject, Al pointed over at an orange Pokemon by the shore. "Hey that one looks pretty strong. Though it looks like a Water type Pokemon." "Grow Grow!" "I know it's obvious Vee! I was saying that it meant I couldn't use you! Abby let's have you try your luck hmm?" The bird Pokemon simply scoffs, as if she needed luck. She had Super Luck (Ba dum tss). Walter looked rather disappointing as the bird Pokemon swooped towards the orange Water Pokemon, beak glowing white for a Peck attack.

What is wrong with you people!? Phew... Almost had a catastrophe there!

@@Umbreon, Alery quickly started inching towards the door, keeping a nervous smile as he went. Vulcan seemed to have already walked out during the old man's first rant. "I'll most definitely keep you in mind sir. Oh, and the thing about Falkner too. Thank's for the directions!" And with that, Alery quickly exited before the man could say anymore, and walked quickly over in the direction of Route 31. He had let Abby and Walter out of their Pokeballs, and was letting them glide and scamper, respectively, next to him. It only seemed fair if he was letting Vee do it too. Maybe he'd have to stop once his team, or the Pokemon themselves, got bigger...

Here we go! Second Monstercat Podcast! Really nice mix of songs! Usually in the genre mixes or album mixes (Or really any other kind of Monstercat mix) there are a few songs I really dislike and skip almost immediately. But this Podcast did not disappoint and I was able to enjoy awesome music for an hour nonstop! Also, can't wait for Haywyre's Doppleganger to come out on Monday. I'm a huge fan of Glitch Hop, and Schism and Sculpted were awesome! I might actually buy Two Fold Pt. 1 b/c of how awesome the music is!

@@Umbreon,@@Sylveon, "Ahhh!" Cottonee suddenly felt herself get knocked to the side and looked over just in time to see Vulpix take a Silver Wind for her. Oh my... B-but she barely knows me! How could she do something like that for useless old me? Cottonee watched as Vulpix fought defiantly for the team and Dedenne trying to lower the guard of the Starlys. I... I need to do seomthing! I may be weak, but they need all the help they can get! Cottonee started flapping her little leaf flap things and a pink tinted breeze started to pick up. It suddenly got more like a gust of wind, and she fired it at anything she could. I... I did something! But... Oh it'll barely help! I'm better just staying out of the way before someone else gets hurt because of me...

@@Umbreon, Alery definitely understood what the girl had meant now. He had to leave there fast. "You know, I'm sorry sir, but I really shouldn't be dillydallying. I just needed to get to the next town and it seemed I've gone the wrong way. Any chance you could direct me towards... Violet City?" Alery put on a smile and tried to look as trainer-ish as possible. Trainers usually just flew through everything right? Like they beat the Pokemon League in a week? Is that no how they did things? Either way, they liked to go fast, so Alery tried to look as much in a rush as he could. He wanted to ask the man if he had anything useful he could take before he left, but he couldn't really find polite words to ask this sort of thing. There didn't seem to be anything of value that the man would actually allow Alery to take anyway.

I'm somewhat of a competitive player and I agree with you wholeheartedly on Toxic Heal Gliscor. Hey I'll use Substitute! Then Protect! Then Toxic! Then Protect! Then Substitute! Oh yea, and I've been getting an immense amount of health back this entire time! Also, Paraflinch Serene Grace Togekiss is the worst thing ever. I'm so grateful I haven't come across too many.

Anything that fuckin Pranksters learn. I hate when I'm trying to set up against a Whimsicott and it locks me into swords dance, then substitutes and toxics, then once I lose the encore, it gets priority and encores me again >.< Makes me soooooooooo mad!

Hey there Azura! Was wondering if you could make me a sig centered around Gengar. I'll be using it for a different forum, at least for now, but the dimensions will still be 600x100. If you could possibly use this for the main center of the sig that'd be awesome (Just the Gengar really not the black empty space): Can't really find a good example of anything for a background, but just something that goes with this I guess? I'm terrible at explaining things . If you need to know anything else just tell me!
