@@Pinkie Paranoia, Cedric gasped and stuck out the Slugma in his hands and smiled widely. "Oh I'm sure Mags would love to play with Hoppip!" The Slugma didn't seem to indicate that in the slightest, giving the Hoppip and it's trainer a lazy, if not almost annoyed, look. "Well... Maybe not..." Cedric pulled Mags back to his chest, the Pokemon simply closing it's eyes contently. "I don't think that lake's too deep though... Maybe you could kick it or something. I'd help out but..." Cedric simply looked at his two Pokemon, a fire type and a water type. "Not sure how much they would help, hehe."

@@Starbound, The Turtwig took the attack very well, just moving over a bit from the attack. But the attack had been pretty annoying, so seeing the Pokemon on the ground caused it to smile devilishly. The Pokemon charged at Pluse and Tackled it straight back towards it's trainer. The Turtwig seemed a little too strong for an area like this... @@Suitaloo, The Croagunk in question looked like the strongest of the group, even if it definitely looked like a fairly low level. It had an x-shaped scar in the middle of it's face, and had been knocking out it's fellow Croagunk one by one. It had just finished jabbing a Machop in the throat to knock it out when it saw Abaddon and the trainer. The Croagunk's lazy look never seemed to change and it let out a fairly long "Croooooww..." before quickly rushing in at Abaddon. It's fingers were lit up purple, as if it were going to use Poison Jab, but it definitely looked to low of a level to be using the move. Was it possibly disguising another move to simply look like a powerful Poison Jab. @@Pinkie Paranoia, @@AnonBrony, Cedirc didn't even have time to congratulate the boy on the catch before he took off back to Acai Town. "Um... Alright then... So is there anything on the route that interests you Bethanne? I knew I wanted Apollo the second I saw him. Anything like that for you?" @, Shinx jumped out of the way of the Skrelp, confident it hadn't lost it's dodging ability from the smoke. This triumph was quickly taken away from him when the Skrelp seemed to follow him no matter where he went. Angry, the Shinx retaliated with once again attempting a Tackle attack. @, The Poochyena looked simply frightened, and once again attempted to scramble away. All it managed to do was kick more sand in the Carvanha's face before getting bitten. The move didn't hurt all that much, and after getting out of the grip of the jaws, the Poochyena attempted to Tackle the scary Pokemon once again. The Poochyena looked positively terrified throughout the fight, as if it were about to lose it's life.

@, Alery didn't remove his gaze from the moving road, not thinking that someone would willingly make conversation with him. Vee simply gave a guttural growl that put Alery on alert, before realizing that the girl had been asking him the question. Vee smiled slyly and continued to rest. "Oh! Uh... Sorry, was a little out of it I guess." The Growlithe on his lap snorted, making the boy give him a glare. "But to answer your question... Technically, yes. Ish. My... Direct family lives in Kanto, but I couldn't get a way there, so I'm just gonna pass through Kanto first." Alery chose his words carefully before giving the girl a flat, quick smile. He decided not to return his gaze to the window, as that would be rude.

I'm now also completely hooked on the Arrow TV show. I love it sooo much!

Well there's a flower called a Stargazer lily and looks somewhat starish Maybe you could do something off of that? Like Stargazer Petals, just Stargazer Lily, etc. Not too good with names, but I thought I'd try to give you some inspiration.

Alery Witlock sat in a seat by himself near the back of the bus and was staring out the window intently. Well... He wasn't. completely by himself. Alery felt something touch his leg and smiled before turning his head towards his Pokemon. "It's alright Vulcan. We'll be there soon." "Groww..." "I know... But this isn't just for my family. I wanna start again. It's why I left your father and my other companions with people I could trust. I won't leave you Vee. Not anytime soon." The Pokemon nodded slowly before climbing on his trainer's lap and quickly falling asleep. Alery sighed and started looking out the window again. After all this time, it was hard to believe he was so close to finding his parents. Getting to Azalea Town was his first priority, so he could meet up with Callie, as well as Alery's aunt and uncle. Callie had also mentioned brothers, but also mentioned one wasn't home often. Alery felt like butterflies were trying to break through his stomach, so nervous about meeting even an extended part of his family. "We'll be home soon, Vee."

@, Shinx hissed angrily and coughed when the smoke blasted into his face It jumped forward, attempting to Tackle Skrelp, but had lost sense of direction and had come out of the cloud to the left of Skrelp, causing him to simply tumble forward a few feet. @, The Poochyena perked it's ears at the sound of a yelling voice and turned it's head just in time to see the scariest Pokemon it had ever seen barringly towards him. The Poochyena started tripping over it's feet to get away, causing the Rage attack to just barely miss. Then, the Poochyena began kicking sand at the Pokemon in defense. @@Suitaloo, The man in the lab coat seemed to be too engrossed in his work to notice. An Espeon sitting on the table eyed the Absol warily before tapping the man with it's branched tail. Another trainer has come, Charles. "Huh? Oh! Thank you Jade, dear. Yes, I am Professor Maple, and that looks like a powerful Pokemon you got there! It looks young though, so I assume you're here for a Pokedex?" Without waiting for an answer, Maple grabbed one off the table and walked over to Frode. "Here you go son. Good luck on your journey." With a final warm smile, Maple quickly turned around and got back to work, whispering to the Psychic type Pokemon every now and then. @@Starbound, A small sprout and a bit of brown could be seen through the tall grass. @@Pinkie Paranoia, @@AnonBrony, Cedric smiled warmly as the girl took her Pokemon back and dipped his head slightly when she introduced herself. He was fairly tall, and had to look down a little to talk to her face. "A pleasure. Cedric Alistair Witlock... Although I assume you'd like to call me Cedric. This is Mags and this-" The boy went to grab a Heal Ball off of his belt but it burst open before he could touch it, a Pikachu appearing on the ground in front of them both. "Hehe. This is... Apollo." The Pikachu crossed it's arms but gave a hint of a smile, indicating he didn't mind the name given to him. Another Pokemon waddled over and another trainer followed suit. Mags would never run off from him like that! Although, that may have been because Cedric rarely ever put him down. "Hi there! A pleasure, Alek. I'm Cedric Alastair Witlock, although... Cedric's fine. This is Mags and Apollo." Cedric gave this trainer a warm smile as well before quickly wrapping a blue band around Apollo's arm (Kinda looks like a Choice Band but isn't)). The yellow Pokemon seemed to protest but eventually let Cedric do his work. "Oh uh... I'm doing this to show a unity of my team. Once Mags becomes a Macargo and has a shell I can put a band on, he's gonna get one too," Cedric explained to the two trainers.

@, ((Totally misread your post >.< I had read it at like midnight last night and was working off memory just now...)) Mincinno understood that Meinfoo was just following misheard instructions and was about to bow back when the Pancham attacked again. Triumphant he had finally gotten a hit on the Mienfoo, the Pancham smiled cockily and got himself into a vulnerable position that allowed Pancham to get hit. Mincinno then suddenly jumped over Mienfoo and used Pound as well to hit the Pancham. The panda Pokemon yelled a few violent sounding retorts before storming off away from the two Pokemon. Minccino turned back around and rubbed her head a little before smiling at Mienfoo. @, As Ace walked on to Route 2, he saw these Pokemon around the area: @, The Shinx jumped back, quite surprised. He had wandered away from Mandarin City on accident and was now being attacked? Not exactly his day... But the Shinx reacted quickly, charging at Skrelp with a Tackle Attack. @@AnonBrony, Starly was now very weak and put up nearly no struggle when the Pokeball hit the top of it's head.

@, ((I'm going to ignore the second post for two reasons. It messes up the Pokemon surveying, and Route 3 also isn't really a place that has tall grass.)) Route 3 was a harsh change from Acai Town and the view of the other routes. It was very dry, with only a few dead trees scattered around before it hit the tree line of Route 2. There also seemed to be a warm breeze that was oddly different from the mild weather of Acai Town. Several Pokemon that would like warm weather and dry areas were scattered around. A few Vullaby were sitting in some of the dead trees, squawking at eachother and practicing their flying. A sole Mandibuzz loomed at the top, most likely too powerful to attack. A couple Machops and Croagunks were sparring each other, getting a harsher workout in the warmer weather as a somewhat lost looking Shinx sat by and watched. Drilburs and Sandshrews were teasing a Tepig by burrowing under the ground before it could reach them. A couple Aipoms were in some of the other dead trees while a Magby waddled over to attempted to help out the Tepig. @, The Pancham was flung back, and looked quite angry because of it. Before it could get up, Mienfoo landed a blow on Mincinno, who was not expecting the Mienfoo to suddenly turn on her. Being too stunned to react, the Mincinno simply looked dazed at Mienfoo as Pancham came up behind with another Karate Chop. @@AnonBrony, The Absorb still didn't do very much damage, but a toll was definitely starting to set on the Pokemon. Starly shook it's head to regain some composure and went in for a simple Tackle attack. @@Pinkie Paranoia, ((Randomized the route for ya)) Hoppip had been pulled onto Route 1, where a boy with long hair had seemingly just caught a Pokemon. He picked up his Slugma and hugged it tight, saying a few things to it before releasing his tight grip but not the Pokemon itself. A Hoppip suddenly bumped into his head and he looked confused for a second before seeing a girl chasing after the Pokemon. The boy grabbed the Pokemon's little foot to keep it steady and smiled at the girl chasing after it. "Did you happen to lose something?" Cedric noticed another boy fighting a Starly with a Petilil before looking back at the Hoppip's trainer.

@@AnonBrony, (When I see Absorb, the first thing I think of is Budew Never actually played 5th gen so Budew is what I thought of XD)) As Starly jumped back, it seemed quite surprised that Petilil had ((this took me a while to figure out a clean way of saying)) placed a bunch of seeds on it's feathers. It ignored them as it got ready for an attack, but was soon cut short when it felt some energy drain out of it and seeing some green light transferring to the Grass Pokemon. Starly chirped angrily before once again flying in for a Quick Attack.

@, Pancham chuckled lightly and began to start moving into a sparring like stance and bouncing on it's toes, using Work Up to boost it's attack before rushing in to Tackle Mienfoo. Mincinno simply started to back away towards her siblings. @, Cedric finally finished sketching the Abra, just in time to see it flash away out of sight. Looking around, Cedric noticed that shy girl from earlier. "Wow already caught another huh? Awesome job! Well I gotta do the same now so, see ya maybe!" Cedric left just as quickly as he had come up and practically threw Slugma at a Pikachu. The Pokemon looked back at him with an annoyed look. "Sorry Mags! Forgot you weren't in your Pokeball!" Ironic since you never keep me in there... Mags simply sighed and jerked his head towards the Pikachu. "Ah right! Hit it with an Ember, please!" Mags quickly acted, shooting a few flames of fire at the Pokemon. The Pikachu noticed at the last moment and dived out of the way, getting up quickly and retaliating with a fast Quick Attack. Mags was hit by the move, but had used Ember while it was close to the Pikachu so it wouldn't be able to dodge. The Pokemon jumped back with a cry, a painful burn on it's arm. It most likely wouldn't be able to attack as hard now. @@Starbound, The Poochyena, unable to move, was directly hit by the attack and knocked backwards. Due to already being paralyzed, Thunder Wave had no effect on Poochyena as it began to limp away from Damien.

@, Pancham seemed quite annoyed that's argument was being interrupted, and had no hesitation in using Karate Chop to try and bonk Mienfoo on the head. This Pancham seemed like it was a little stronger the siblings, and was most likely in charge of them while their mother was gone. @@AnonBrony, The Starly was barely fazed by the attack, but the weak attack did annoy the Pokemon a bit. The Starly quickly flew forward at Budew with the intent on hitting it with a Quick Attack. @@Starbound, Poochyena ignored the Tail Whip, knowing it would lower his guard. However, this caused him to be unable to see the Thunder Wave hit him square on. He seemed to move a little slower, and when he tried to Tackle again, a few sparks ran through him rendering him unable to move.

Cedric cursed under his breath as the Nidorino jumped in front of the Nidoran. He had been more interested in getting a Nidoqueen, but a battle wouldn't hurt. Cedric quickly got a paralyze heal for Butterfree and sprayed it. She hadn't been hurt to badly, so she seemed ready to fight. "Alright Butterball, Confusion!" The Pokemon swept down from the height it had been at and closed it's eyes, directing pink waves of mental energy at the Nidorino. Revvy ground his teeth at Comet's response. I apologized! Least she could do was accept it before giving me some lecture or... Hey! Revvy crouched down when the Shinx waddled over and gave her a small smile. The tuft of fur on her head seemed smaller than her brother's, which most likely meant this Shinx was female. "Hey there girl... Interested in joining the team?" Trying to back Revvy up as Butterball had done for Cedric, Faith gave a shy wave to the Shinx and a smile. Revvy was pretty intent on keeping a hold of her. He wasn't planning on having Faith harmed. She was just too little to fight for now. Revvy gave a look to Chomp in case things got a little out of hand.

@,@@AnonBrony, @, @, Professor Maple smiled again at the newcomers. He shook the boy's hand and turned around to grab more Pokedexes. "I am indeed the Professor, and there's no worries of being late or having bad timing. My assistant, who I believe left for the Pokemart a short while ago, ordered a few too many Pokedexes by mistake. Now..." Maple gave the dexes to the three newcomers and smiled warmly at all of them. "I sincerely hope all of you have a wonderful time out there. Good luck." And with that, Maple turned around and became engrossed in his work. An Espeon was levitating important looking papers over to Maple so he wouldn't forget about them. "Ah yes... Thank you Olive." The Espeon nodded silently and began walking around the lab. ((Gonna randomize Cedric's route for funzies. Gonna make up the Pokemon first so I don't make them up as I want them.)) Cedric finally grabbed all of the things he needed and rushed out of the Mart, still carrying Mags. If the Pokemon could talk, it would probably be telling Cedric it had a Pokeball. Cedric ran off towards Route 1, heading towards Orange Town. Route 1 was quite beautiful. There was a fair abundance of Pokemon, and a beautiful lake that held Horsea, Goldeen, and Magikarp. If one looked close enough, they might have seen a brown-orange shell near the bottom of the somewhat shallow lake. There were a few bird Pokemon in the trees, namely Starlys and Pidgeys. A Pancham seemed to be getting into an argument with a Mincinno over something as their siblings and a few Pikachu, as well as some Eevees stood by. Before attempting to catch a Pokemon though, Cedric took a seat under the shade of a tree and began sketching a few of the Pokemon he saw on a small notepad. He caught sight of an Abra and tried drawing it before it could teleport away. @@Starbound, The Poochyena immediately heard the newcomer, and quickly turned around, pouncing at either Pokemon or trainer. It seemed to be going for a simple tackle move.

@, Nidoran jumped out of the way of the Vine Whip with ease. Feeling accomplished he began to strut around out of cockiness, before realizing one of the vines had wrapped around his leg and had thrown him into a tree. Seeing the Pokeball fly towards him, Nidoran gave next to no struggle, seeing the potential in this trainer and wanting to be a part of her growth as one. The Pokaball shook three times before letting out a few sparks to show the Pokemon had been captured.

@, Kinda busy! Who does this guy think he is!? "Yea well I was kinda busy too, and thanks to you not being aware of your Pokemon, I had to hear Growlithes attempting to maul that Purrloin of yours. So you can go-" "Revvy!" Cedric was still over near the Nidoran's, but had heard what was going on. They weren't exactly the quietest of people. Revvy gave his brother a glare while Cedric returned it tenfold. The older brother sighed and smiled lightly at the sound of Comet's retort. She had the best comebacks, this Jared kid was boring. Cedric continued to glare at him, sensing that Revvy had made himself get off the wrong foot with Comet... Which tended to happen a lot with people Revvy meets. Revvy looked back at Cedric uneasily and sighed again. He told Chomp to cry out if the Shinxes did anything, picked up Faith, and walked closer to Comet and Jared. Damn Cedric. Always had a way of making Revvy feel bad. "Hey, Comet, you know... I think we got off on the wrong foot. Or... possibly more than a foot. I just... I needed to test that thing, and you were the closest person to me, so I hope you understand it wasn't anything personal. So uh... Sorry... Or something." Revvy stood there awkwardly for a moment, cradling the small Ralts, before smiling flatly and tunring around to head back to Chomp and the Shinxes.

@, The Nidoran jumped unexpectedly at the attack, having thought the trainer would do no harm. However, this only caused it to be taken by the wind and thrown farther than it would have been. It got up, trying to shake off the attack, charging for a Double Kick. Both kicks landed on the Flabebe, but the damage wasn't too severe. It then jumped back and waited to strike again. @@Starbound, ((Look at my post to Lhee about what Pokemon are on the route.)) @@Pinkie Paranoia, "Hehe, it's quite alright dear." Maple took the Dex off of Hoppip and handed to Bethanne. "I hope you have a wonderful adventure." ((Sorry it can't be longer. Gotta dash.))

@,@, Faith tugged at Revvy's pant leg and pointed at the two newcomers. Revvy looked down slightly annoyed, and after looking at what Faith had pointed it at got even more annoyed. Come on! I'm trying to catch a Pokemon! They better not get in my way. Revvy shook his head at Comet and gave her one of his signature smiles. "Just can't stay away from me can you Comet? Guessing you liked how rough I got when we first met." Revvy put his hand over Ellie's Pokeball, just in case either Comet, Serperior, or both didn't take the retort well. He gave another chuckle before turning slightly towards the two Shinx, making sure to keep all parties related to Come in his peripherals.

@, After stepping onto the dirt road out of town, one could see a post with a sign that said "Route 2". Around route 2 were conveniently basic and fairly weak Pokemon, perfect for a new trainer. There were several bug types moving around in trees, including Caterpie, Wurmples, and Sewaddles. A Butterfree's wing could be seen poking out of one of the bushes near a yellow leaved tree. Around the rest of the area were both genders of Nidorans, a Turtwig that seemed incredibly interested in watching the sky, and just about all the basic normal types you could imagine. Rattatas and Patrats were looking for food together while Zigzagoons and Poochyenas wrestled with each other, some away from the groups. A single Bunnelby could be seen burrowing into the ground as if it were looking for something. The route was very large and was definitely able to be the home of all these Pokemon.

@, Varrick looked over at Nico, who he had happened to appear very close to. He smiled mischevously and then became extremely serious. "You're guardian angel." He looked at Nico seriously before once again completely vanishing, before reappearing to the other side of Nico moments later. "Sorry. That joke may or may not have been in poor taste. But I am Varrick Rowan, teacher's assistant under the instruction of Mr. Corsac. There's a fairly good chance a tall young man named Daniel is going to come ask you to spar him. If you're up to it, of course. It's perfectly fine if not, as I would be sparring him instead."

@,@, Varrick gave Darius a quick glance and looked up at this fairly tall boy. "Uh.. You know... How about I supervise? Or spar, depending on the occupation of the gym. There's enough light in that room to justify being able to spar in there, so I don't see why not. See you there." And with that, Varrick disappeared. Not in a flash, or a fizzle out. It was as if he had just vanished into thin air with no noise right as Darius and Daniel blinked at the same time. It was as if he was never there in the first place.

@,@@Starbound, Cedric lifted his hand in greeting to the incredibly shy girl, having remembered seeing her around town every now and then. He gave her a sincere smile before she lowered her head and then waved casually at the boy who had walked in. Mags made little reaction to the new comers, simply sitting there on Cedric's lap. Or laying... Or... Sliming. Whatever it was Slugma's did. "Ah, greetings young ones. I am Professor Maple and this is indeed where you find your Pokedex dear. And don't look so down, I have plenty here! I think Cedric messed up with the order a little..." Cedric smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck. "I may have put a zero where there shouldn't have been... Hehe." Maple simply chuckled lightly and picked up two dexes, walking over to the two aspiring trainers. Cedric got up as well and walked over to them, too, Mags still in his arms. "I entrust the two of you to research all the Pokemon you can, and use this device to find out new information yourself. The dexes have limited information on all Pokemon, so don't be afraid to give it a shot when you're unsure of something." "Alright. I'll be heading to the Pokemart, Maple. Was a pleasure meeting... sort of meeting you two." With a final smile, Cedric took off towards the blue-roofed building on the edge of town.

OOC The Durian Region! A fairly new island discovered about 50 years ago. No new Pokemon have been found here, but Pokemon of every region have found there way here. You're adventure starts in Acai Town, where you will meet with Professor Maple and receive a Pokedex! However, this isn't a necessity, only highly recommended. So what are you waiting for? It's time to start your journey! ... Finally! Mags is finally strong enough to start off an adventure! I wonder who I'll meet on this journey? Guess I'll find out at the lab! "Hello, Cedric! I believe you're brother started off his journey a few years ago. Come to follow in his footsteps ey? Well come, come. Get this Pokedex here. Noone else has shown up yet." "I think I'll wait a bit to see who shows up. Thanks again Professor." Cedric took a seat near the table of Pokedexes and held Mags in his arms. Mags seemed to be able to control the intense heat of his body, allowing Cedric to be able to touch him.

@, (He also doesn't have a beard That's Mega Alakazam) Varrick shrugged and thought about what he looked like. "Huh, I've never gotten that before... I am in my last year, being 22 and all. But yes, I'm studying the same field as Darius, so I opted to study under him. I'll be accompanying him to the Battle Class lessons. Also, It's a pleasure to meet you Ms. Mimilop." Varrick never like calling people by nicknames or even first names, especially superiors and newly met people.
