  1. Here's my song of the day, hope you enjoy and have a good day/night!!!

    1. EpicEnergy

      EpicEnergy

      Goodnight, my friend! :fluttershy:

  2. I'm not very good at remembering the names of actual celebrities, most are lost on me. Maybe I just don't care enough idk? But some that really stand out to me are Lee Pace and Keanu Reeves. But beyond that I can't quite remember many celebrities? Does Markiplier count?
  3. That my Father's side of the family were just as cruel as him. I've been slowly talking to them on facebook and they're the sweetest people I've known. They've been more accepting of me than my mother's side of the family has been. I'm not quite as much of a black sheep on my father's side than I am on my mother's side and I take comfort in that.
  4. I ate an apple, it was good. I like to leave my apples in the fridge for a while before eating them.
  5. *hugs @Samurai Equine back* hope you're taking care of yourself and having a good day!!!
  6. It's a term used by most people out there, whether you're LGB+ or not, if you don't want to use it, go for it, there's no requirement for you to use it.
  7. I mean, the term "Cis" has been around for a very long time so it isn't like it's anything new?
  8. Cis gender is just used to denote that you identify with the sex you were born with. Like how I use trans to denote that I do not identify with the sex I was born with. Calling yourself Cis isn't something special one earns, it's the most basic identifier that mostly everyone uses, whether you're LGBT+ or not.
  9. I had some chocolate chip banana muffins.
  10. Since I make my own pizzas, I just add whatever I want to them. Is it strange that I've never had a frozen pizza before?
  11. That's interesting, never heard of using jam in a sandwich normally!!
  12. Sorry, don't lick my pet, it's a texture thing. Though no, I don't lick my cat Since my cat is perfectly capable of cleaning herself, I don't bathe her. Maybe a spot treatment if something gets on her.
  13. Oh don't worry about it, you'll find out!
  14. Well no one's going to celebrate it for me, might as well do it myself!!! So just a story of mine, I was suicidal since I was 10. I never thought I'd make it past 25, or at least I hoped I wouldn't live past 25. I'm turning 29 this year. On my 25th birthday, I figured that since I made it this far, I might as well celebrate in my own way since no one really celebrated my birthday for me. My mom stopped celebrating birthdays with parties when I turned 13, after that we'd go to a restaurant and have a nice meal but that was it, no parties, no presents, nothing but a nice meal(she usually took us to a fondue place called Melting Pot, I highly recommend going there it's really good!!). I'm 4 years past my "expiration date" and since no one really celebrates my birthday for me, I might as well do it myself. I normally just try a new recipe for my birthday. I've been celebrating my birthday since I was 27, my first year I got cake for myself from a local grocery store but I got sick from all of the frosting on it(even with taking a lot of frosting off of it it was still too sweet for me), the next year I made myself a pie, this year I'm going to try to make Bougatsa!! I think maybe I should try buying myself some presents or something? I could just wrap them up too or something lol... Normally I just buy myself a game or something idk. I don't want to treat my birthday as just another day anymore, I've come so far these days and I've done so much for myself. I've improved as a person and I should celebrate my achievements each year. Sure, I might just be another day older but I've survived and that's the important thing. I'm too stubborn to give up on myself like that anymore.
  15. Not gonna lie, I'm slightly intrigued? Wouldn't have ham though, don't really like the texture, maybe with turkey or chicken or something?
  16. It really depends on what sort of world the magic one is? What level of technology do they have? What sort of magics are there? I mean, if there's the possibility of having dimensional magics, maybe I could find a way to communicate with the friends I made on Earth but at the end of the day, I would prefer going back to the magical world instead. Though that depends on the society that lives in that world. If they were like the Witcher world, I would prefer staying on Earth because I wouldn't want to be treated like sorceresses do in The Witcher, as an example. If I lost my magic once I got to Earth, I would definitely want to go back to the magical world. If I lived with magic for most of my life and then got transported somewhere where I lost my magic, I would absolutely feel crippled and feel like a piece of me was missing. Even if I did make very good friends, no amount of love from them could fill the whole of my love for my lost magic. I'd feel lost.
  17. I get so caught up in world-building that I have a hard time writing my characters into it in a way that makes sense to me. I think I'm better at writing short stories though, I partially wrote this one story based off of a dream but never got around to finishing the story. It's about these two little boys who keep trying to one-up each other, one's a wizard and the other is a mad-scientist, they're good kids but they keep arguing if magic or science is the superior method, they end up having a huge battle in the playground but at the end they realize that they're both good in their own ways and become friends. I don't really write much fanfiction, mostly original stuff but I sometimes try writing a fanfic about my Dovahkiin. I tend to prattle on with dialogue and not very good at writing fight scenes. Should practice that a bit more now that I have a reliable writing program.
  18. I should've woke up early to do some baking, too hot to be baking right now but I don't want to constantly eat muesli all the time, my oats need to last the whole month or at least most of it...

    Fireworks?

Over here in Canada, we're still celebrating Canada Day it seems. They've actually been setting off fireworks since Victoria Day(May 18), people in town anyways, not actually the city itself. I've actually started to get anxiety over it lately, just the louder ones not all fireworks.
  20. I watched Kiki's Delivery Service on Netflix earlier!!
  21. Here's my song of the day, been a while!  Hope you enjoy and are taking care of yourselves, stay hydrated!!!

  22. I already have to pay CAD$80 including taxes for their games, I don't want to pay more than that, that's already too much!!

    My Fursona!!

It's taken me a while to really think of what type of fursona I want and here's what I have so far!!! Along with some world-building, hope you enjoy!! Name: Sage Briar-Leaf Age: 28 Species: Predatory Elk Career: Baker, has his own bagel shop Current Home-City: London, Ontario Physical Appearance: Tall, around 7’2” and an extra foot for his large antlers, he constantly gets his antlers stuck in doorways, he’s usually grateful when he sheds his antlers, even if it were just for a season or two. He has normal human-like hands but his “nails” are more like claws, he normally files them down to as much as he can to make kneading dough easier. He has hooves for feet that are black in colour. His fur colouring is mostly brown, with a few brighter brown splotches, mostly on his shoulders and upper arms, along with two stripes of dark green the start from his tear ducts to the tip of his nose that come to a sharp point. His shop normally makes bagels so he sometimes has a bagel around one of the points of his antlers, he usually forgets it’s there until he gets home and sees it, he usually just eats it depending on how fresh it looks and what flavour of bagel it is, he sometimes just gives it to his son if he notices it first. He has sharp teeth which he inherited from his grandmother on his mother’s side. He has black sclera. Personality: Very intimidating but when you get to know him, he’s rather gentle. He just wants to make bagels and feed people good food. He’s creative and quiet, which most people mistake for brooding. He likes to play video games in his off-hours or take walks with his son. At his core, he’s a mama’s boy and believes family is one of the most important things. He’s often involved with local activism or he donates some of his money to causes. He’s the type to always stop to listen to people who’re trying to get a petition signed on the street, sometimes he ends up being scammed and has had his identity stolen twice. He makes “insta-worthy” bagel sandwiches and coffee so he has a small following in town and online even though he’s camera shy sometimes, but he’s been going to therapy for a few years so he’s gotten over it, the vloggers that visit his bakery have helped him get over his fears too. He has shown up on local news outlets a few times over the years. He’s had the bakery for only around three years. He likes baking, playing video games, volunteering at a local homeless shelter. He sometimes buys presents for the kids in the shelter. A humble person, he never feels the need to spread word of what he’s done, he feels the actions he takes are rewarding enough. A soft-spoken person but his voice reminds people of distant thunder. Likes: Family, friends, helping people, coffee, baking, playing video games, crochet, gardening Dislikes: homophobia, transphobia, people being general jerks towards others, jello, Places that are too dark, small spaces Family: Mother: Willow Briar-Leaf Species: Elk Age: 50 Career: Head-Nurse for a local retirement home A spicy woman in a little package, it’s safe to keep your distance and listen to what she has to say, she’s a force of nature on her own. Loves her family and will protect them at all costs. A small woman at around 5’3”, she’s a dwarf compared to her son, wife and even her grandson who’s only 13. If anyone’s laughing in a room, she’s the one who laughs the loudest, feels the strongest and will openly express her emotions. Compared to Sarah, she’s the emotional heart of the family while Sarah’s the cool logic. Originally from Philadelphia, she moved with her wife to live closer to her in-laws. Willow and Sarah met in community college when she was working weekends at a local butcher’s shop. She mostly made fish cheesesteaks. Sarah would often come to the shop just to flirt with her even though they were already dating. Mother #2: Sarah Briar-Leaf Species: Elk Age: 50 Career: Child Psychologist A trans woman, she came out 10 years ago and started transitioning soon after that, she’s the sire of Sage. Sarah and Willow have stuck through with each other through the years and have been married for 31 years, they were high school sweethearts and married shortly after high school, Sarah moved the family from Philadelphia to live with her parents in London, Ontario around 29 years ago since her mother had an Alzheimer diagnosis and Sarah wanted to help her father handle her. After her mother passed, she stayed in London to take care of her aging father. Sarah is 7 feet tall without her antlers, she never felt like she would truly “pass” as a woman even though her wife, Willow, insists she’s simply an Amazonian. Willow has been supportive of Sarah’s transition and is defensive of her. Sarah is often the calm one in any situation, she cares in her own way but tries to keep up with trends to properly take care of her patients and her patients appreciate her for it even if she sometimes mixes up slang every-so-often. She normally helps kids who were hospitalized in the local mental ward and helps them shift to out-patient. Son: Andrew Briar-Leaf Species: Predatory Elk Age: 13 Andrew was born when Sage was only 15 but Sage doesn’t regret it. Sage’s Girlfriend, Denise, at the time unfortunately died of cancer when Andrew was 3. Andrew is a good kid but he can get into fights a lot with other kids. Currently, he’s 6’5” and still has a lot of growing to do, sometimes, he needs a wheelchair because it hurts too much to walk around sometimes and his body hasn’t quite caught up with his bones. Andrew was named after his Maternal Uncle Andrew since he was the first person to really support Denise through her pregnancy as a teenager. Andrew also inherited heterochromia from his mother and has one eye gold and the other green. He does also have black sclera like his father. A lanky kid but Sage believes he’ll grow into himself once he really starts puberty. His fur is a light red, similar to his mother and he’s rather fuzzy for an elk and takes a few hours to brush it all out when he starts shedding. Girlfriend(deceased): Denise Thistle Species: Highland Cow Age(upon Death): 18 A kind individual, she often saw the good in people over the bad, she was never intimidated by Sage and was a very relaxed girl. She was very excited over having Andrew and couldn’t wait for him to be born, she was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, Andrew’s conception is due to a broken condom and it was also the second time they slept together. Her family mostly disowned her besides her older brother, Andrew. He gave her both love and monetary support to help her get baby supplies. Sage’s parents also welcomed her with open arms and they all lived together in a small home in London. She encouraged Sage’s love for baking and was ever supportive. Her whole philosophy was that a home needs love and love she shall give. Sage loved her and her death broke his heart. She died shortly after graduating high school and many of her fellow classmates and even teachers and other staff showed up to offer condolences at her Wake. As per her wishes, she was cremated and buried in an eco-urn in the backyard of one of her greatest friends, Tiffany, a Great Dane living on the other side of town. Background: Sage was born in London and has always loved baking, he’d sometimes be allowed to knead his own dough when he was little and always hovered around whoever was cooking in the kitchen as soon as he could walk. He was often made fun of for his teeth and strange eyes when he was little but over time, he began sticking up for himself. Getting stronger physically and much larger also helped stop bullies. After Denise died, he went onto a baker’s apprenticeship as she wanted him to do and once he moved back to town three years ago, he opened his own bagel shop downtown. Known for his different lattes and soft bagels, his shop often has a line waiting for the place to open in the morning. He often has local vloggers or even ones from as far as Toronto taking pictures of their food and drink, he ended up having a small but devote following of fans due to his humble and simple nature. They sometimes buy things off of his personal wishlist and has a HoofBook(his universe’s version of Facebook but for herbivores) account that covers his going-ons in his community. He supports environmental activism and will sometimes bail out protesters if he can afford it. Some random in world names for things: HoofBook, ClawBook, FeatherBook and Scaly are all Facebook-like websites but for Herbivores, Predators, birds and lizards respectively. Grumblr is like Tumblr Tweeter = twitter Grape = similar to Apple Most places of business are custom made to handle antlers and larger animals, there are some places that are smaller, more “human” sized but, for example, Sage needed to get the place he got for his bakery up to code to handle his antlers. The size difference for most animals isn’t as severe as Zootopia or something but more human-like with some animals being larger than humans ever could. Most animals range from 4’3”-8’0” with some species either growing bigger than that due to long necks or they’re just naturally smaller than their typical species. Sage’s Bakery is currently across from a local stadium downtown, his next door neighbours for his business are a mouse-run clothing shop and the other side is occupied by a restaurant run by a goat refugee from a different country, they all get along and the employees of the next door shops sometimes get discounts for their lunchbreaks at the bagel shop. Some businesses are meant for smaller animals while some are meant for bigger animals but most are meant to handle any size or weight. There are apes and monkeys in this world too but they’re rare and often stick to smaller communities. There are some humans but they’re even rarer than apes or monkeys. Most animals live their whole lives without seeing humans, most humans live in small communities in Northern countries with polar bears and other colder climate loving animals. Out of the 4 billion animals, there are only 10K humans in existence. Only 2 million various Ape and Monkey species’, they typically like to live near the equator and are indigenous to countries like Taiwan, Ethiopia, Ecuador and various indigenous tribes in the Amazon Rain Forest. They often protect and ensure the safety of the Environment they live in. This world is healthier than the one we live in, they never had to worry about climate change and are always environmentally conscious of the world they live in. Most people are vegetarians but some eat domesticated animals or bugs for protein. Some of the herbivores don’t appreciate that much but they’ve made strides in making meat-like supplements that act like meat but are grown in laboratories, this alternative is very popular and in very high demand from those that eat meat. While a small percent of people eat meat, more carnivorous people like eating bugs since it’s a good and cheaper alternative to lab-grown meats. Along with a type of large grub that has a lot of different breeds that taste like different things, one breed of grub can taste like cheesecake but has the nutritional value of 10g of protein per serving(typically 6 grubs) and very low in carbs. Another breed of grub can taste like beef. These grubs prefer cold climates so they’re kept in basements and cold storage. When these bugs breed, they die, they only breed in boiling water. Most people scoop out the eggs while cooking the adults. These grubs have a hard shell, almost like glass so it isn’t safe to eat them whole and raw. Once the shell of the grub easily can slip off with little resistance, it’s ready to eat. People have gotten sick eating un-properly cooked grubs. The shells are recycled into material such as stained glass hobbyists or for fashion accents or are ground up for other purposes, such as a special plastic-like alternative normally used in traditional animation slides. Thanks for reading this far, if you have any questions or want to help me brainstorm, you're welcome to comment!!! Just another thing, I'm calling him a predatory Elk because of his sharp teeth and claws. I'm making headcanon that these things are traits that can be passed down through "normal" family lines, some carnivores can be "passive" while some Herbivores can be "predatory" and be able to eat meat without getting sick.
  24. Personally, things like lore are what keep me interested and a good or at least tolerable plot. It could have the worst graphics but as long as it keeps you engaged, it's a good game. So no, I don't believe graphics are everything, they just add icing to the cake and make it look pretty.
  25. Why would you get chocolate for someone you're not even going to give it to them until Valentine's? So what if the receiver lives in the same house as you, how are you going to ensure the chocolate is well-hidden and won't melt or go bad before you give it to them? What if it attracts bugs? What if your kid finds the chocolate and eats it? What happens when you forget about it?
