    About the School for Gifted Unicorn's Entrance Exam...

    The egg hatching test seem very odd to me. Seeing as only Twilight, is the only unicorn there who has a dragon and no one else has a dragon. So it's hard to say what the exam ponies were looking for when they gave the test. It could be magical ability or problem solving skills. Most likely they just wanted to see if she could hatch it with magic.

     

    The school might have more test, besides the egg hatching test. They could have test that test magical ability, problem solving, and some that are both MA and PS.

    Maybe there aren't any other unicorns with dragons because after Celestia got a student, she didn't need another one, and thus a virtually impossible test wasn't required a second time.

    OK everypony, now that we have a headcanon theory, from here I think we should resume focusing on the sneak peek at Comic-Con. Was it Celestia who showed Twi that flashback? And if so, why would she do that?

     

    Try to remember that before the scene started, Twilight's cutie mark flashed on screen, and the design was the exact same as the cutie mark that flashed in Magical Mystery Cure, denoting that this was no animation error, and somehow the cutie mark and flashback might be linked. Let the speculation begin!

    No, Twilight was asking NMM where Luna and Celestia had gone, therefore, assuming that it is, in fact, a trip into Tia's memories, I imagine it would be a contingency of some sort Celestia has in place, something Cadance showed her, or something Twiley discovers for herself.

    The only episode I didn't like at all was The Mysterious Mare Do Well. The mane six, save Dashie, seemed totally OOC going so far out of there way to make their friend feel miserable and worthless. The lesson didn't make sense either. If you're a hero of sorts, I feel that you should be proud of your accomplishments, and continue to be who you are.

     

    As for the topic, no, I haven't lost faith in the writers. Sure, not every episode could blow the fandom out of the water, and they've done a few things that I didn't agree with, (Alicorn Twilight, removing Derpy) but this show has really changed my life, and I don't know where I'd be without it. I owe the writers everything. In fact, I may drive twenty minutes to Hasbro HQ, and thank them personally. There's some perks living in the tiniest state. img-1870642-1-tongue.png

    Uh, Derpy wasn't removed. She was seen five times in Magical Mystery Cure. But no one's called her by the name Derpy, thus far. Then again, nor have they called you Ditzy Doo.
