  1. My favorite parts of a game are ones where you are basically unstoppable. I love the feeling of tearing through my enemies and watching them panic when I use my super awesome abilities. For example:

-The last level of The Darkness during the eclipse.

-The part where you become a giant in Alice: Madness Returns.

    -The first part of Prototype.

    - Pretty much all of Diablo 3 with the Wizard (on easy mode at least).

I guess I have a power complex or something.

I also love a good cinematic boss fight like all the boss fights from Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.

  2. The Future is Bright!!!

Also I wear Glasses.  It looks like it would be a little akward to use for some one like me.

I would love a smart phone tho, just can't  afford one or the monthly cost.

I was thinking of this exact same thing! ^_^ I also would have trouble wearing it due to the fact that I wear glasses. I can't even wear sunglasses without a subscription.

  3. I'd be excited and would whole-heartedly agree to meeting them.  I would then purchase a ticket on the next space-flight to their planet and hope we have some sort of warp travel or else they won't be alive by the time I get there.

I would have to question how Twilight Sparkle knows who I am though.

  4. In my opinion, the thing that makes magic what it is, is a lack of understanding of how something works. People uses to think rocks with magnetic properties were magic, but now we call it science. In Equestria, they say the word "magic", but they seem to have an understanding of it on a seemingly scientific level. I think that the word "magic" is just a general term the ponies use for something that operates within the realm of science. Perhaps magic is just the name of a pervasive energy force that the ponies can tap into and manipulate with their minds. This is why Twilight speaks of magic in scientific terms and studies it on a scientific level much the same as she studies the world around her.

  5. Twilight says that magic comes from within a pony and is able to be tapped as a power source. Because of their horn, unicorns are able to use the power in its rawest form. The other two types of ponies are able to tap into magic in more subtle ways. Pegasi use it to walk on clouds and manipulate the weather and earth ponies use it to help plants grow.

Zecora has been seen to be able to use magic in her own way without the use of a horn as a catalyst and probably uses the magical properties of certain plants in her potions.  Gilda's ability to sit on clouds suggests that gryphons have innate magic similar to pegasi. The natural world also seems to be able to produce magic as evidenced by certain plants (poison joke, hearts desire, seeds of truth, etc) and by the presence of Timber Wolves which appeare to be naturally occuring magical constructs.

Considering all this, it is my opinion that magic is the life force of the world in which Equestria resides. All living creatures produce it and are sustained by it. Love appears to be a tangible magical force that can be siphoned off by creatures such as the changelings leaving the victim in a weakend state. I don't know if it's considered canon, but in the comics, Chrysilis states that she plans on draining all the magical power from Twilight Sparkle destroying her in the process. The resulting rush of emotions from her after seeing her die would provide a feast for her subjects. This would destroy the rest of the ponies connected to the Elements of Harmony and provide enouph power to mount a new assult on Canterlot. This provides evidence that emotions are also connected to a pony's life force and therefore is magic as well. If draining magical power from another being kills them, then it lends further credence to my theory that magic is the same as or is connected to a creature's life force.

I had more in mind, but I've suddenly forgot it so I'll just end with that. Just my head canon at least. :squee:

  6. This should answer the question of what Sunset Shimmer really is. This is a panel from the comic specifically issue number nine. Well. The SDCC version of it.

I just had to point out that she is currently reading the Necronomicon from the Evil Dead movies. I saw this and laughed, I couldn't help it.

  7. I like the whole good vs. evil Jedi/Sith thing and the lightsaber battles are pretty cool and force abilities are cool to, but I hate the dogma the Jedi and Sith have. They are both extremists in my opinion. Other than that, I have no real opinion on Star Wars.

  8. I NEVER drink coffee. While I'll admit the grounds smell nice when you open the can, coffee itself tastes aweful like dissolved chalk in hot water. Tea is my drink of choice and the way I take my tea depends on the type of tea.  I like to start my day off with a nice cup of tea with milk. It's something to look forward to in the morning since I'm not a moring person. During the day I like a nice ice tea with lemon and maybe a little sugar if my sweet tooth is acting up. I like a nice hot cup of green tea in the evenings, no sugar or sweeteners of any kind. Green tea is to be taken as is.

I drink tea so often that my parents and some friends have joked that I was born in the wrong country.

  9. When I was in middle school I had absolutely no interest in classical music. I was into classic rock and metal. Then I went on a trip with my friend and his family to see an orchestra live.  I didn't want to go at first but my parents made me because they thought I should gain an appreciation for it as they were signing me up for music lessons.

The most of the music was your standard classical music: Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, etc. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't anything all that special for me at the time (now I love it). For the finale they played an original piece by a modern composer. I haven't been able to find the name since and I wish I had paid attention so I would know. The music had the cello, violin, piano, and harp in it and it was the most beautiful music I had ever heard. I was literally moved to tears. It had a bitter-sweet tone to it. Started off a bit melancholic but ended with a lighter tone that made you feel like everything was going to okay. Ever since then I've been in love with classical music.

If anyone thinks they may know what the piece was, please tell me. I need this on my iPod.

  10. I agree with the OP's idea of love though I don't know if I believe that such a thing is possible. At least, I've never been in love so I don't know if it exists. I've been infatuated before and I've definately felt lust more than once, but I've never been in love.  I don't really like to use the word unless I really do love someone. That being the case, I don't even tell my parents I love them. I don't like to feel bogged down by such things.

  11. The only one I'm absolutely certain about is Chastity, though not by choice. I'm just really, really, really, really, really bad at talking to women for any reason beyond work related subjects and the occasional awkward small talk. I've only ever asked one girl out in my entire life and it took three attempts. I had to run away and throw up the first two. Predictably, she said no, but at least she was nice about it. The boyfriend I didn't know she had was less so. Ever since then I haven't been able to approach women.

  12. I'd imagine if it was so good Hasbro wanted it, they would have one of the writers take it, change some of the names or settings, then claim they came up with it on their own. I would go on blisfully unaware that I had been plagerized and believe that I happened to have the same idea as one of the awesome writers of MLP.
