Some people are pretty close but not quite right. If you use our calender it is mixed up of a solar and lunar calender. Ignore the solar calender for this post and we will only refer to the lunar calender. A lunar week is the same as a normal week, 7 nights = 1 lunar phase, 28 nights = a full cycle. Therefore a lunar month is 28 days. There are 13 lunar months in a year so that = 364 nights per year. Only one number off from our current cycle when it isn't a leap year. The entire calender used to be based on the Lunar cycle but over time the seasons would be completely out of whack. Winter coming earlier each year was very literal in those times, it would come precisely 1 day earlier each year. The current mix of Solar and lunar calender was created to solve that problem keeping the 7 day week. Not sure on this but theory has it that the calender was changed to 12 months instead of 13 over superstition that 13 was bad and 12 was good. To answer the previous question, when you do the math, an apple family reuinion would happen every 7 years 9 months on the lunar calender. I'm guessing though that it would really be every 8 years since they would want it the same season each year. That seems about right for family reunions in my book. Then again it is a cartoon in a different world so all of what I said was completely irrelevant.

Hello, I recently joined your team. I already had an MLP forums account that I think I've only used once to enter a contest or something. I could kinda use a new forum to be a part of anyway so hopefully maybe you will start to see me active around here. It won't be this week though. I'm going to be a bit busier this week with year end inventories at my store.

I've played that game a bit, it's ok. I see ads since ads help the site. I cannot help financially because I have no personal income and am over $5k in debt with 4k of that being mortgage payments that will only stop if I end up homeless.

I think I like the term hoof bump better myself. If it was actually used in the episode, I think I'm going to start calling it that now myself. Of course both terms are equally fine.

I saw it the 2nd time through. A small hint someone gave me did something to bring my attention to the snow globe. I think someone said to pay attention to it or something. I noticed the bigger thing floating in it and replayed it and sure enough..

If things continue like they are, i think they will. I mean they are putting shoutouts in the shows now to us. Plushies would sell both to adults and kids so I think it can and will happen. I don't agree with everything that Hasbro does (like discountinuing Heroscape), but they do tend to make more smart business choices than dumb ones.

Fluttershy is my other favorite pony. I looked through these posts and haven't seen this video yet, so I thought I would leave it right here were those that will appreciate it most can easily find it.

The first episode I saw was Party of One. Some friends of mine on Kongregate picked that one to show me how awesome the show is. The thing is I think they could have picked a better episode. I decided to watch starting with episode 1 myself and I liked it much better. I probably would have been a brony 2 months sooner had I just watched the first episode.
