  1. Well.. that is one heck of a combo; fusing the cute Japanese manga with the little ponies we know. Although I was expecting they would at least change the ponies' appearance a little bit and make them look, how can I say, tinier and cuter. This will keep me busy (if I can get my hands on it) while I wait on other vids and animations to come out.

"This is ponyville! It's a fun town where the ponies live!"

    You don't sayyy?

  2. We can only determine how tall they are if we assume that the reference points in their world like trees and doors are about the same as ours. Four feet seems to be a good estimate for the average pony, or we wouldn't call them our little ponies lol. From there you can determine body size.

  3. Soo much...chaooos... *insert Discord me gusta face image*. Well if that happened, I'd have no luck in Ponyville since there are approximately 7 to 12 million bronies1 in the world, and a huge chunk would probably crowd the place. I'd gather an expedition group and explore all of Equestria...after trying to get a map and "need to know" book from a certain librarian...and then go to Ponyville again.

  4. Welp, I happen to be nineteen. 19 in digits. I won't be turning twenty until next year, so I'll be remembering how I spent my last days as a teenager being a brony ^_^ ...and then the same in my 20s and 30s and 40s...heheh.

But yes, I do act younger sometimes (in a bad way) with my randomness of posts and witty comments, not to mention my sense of humor and fanatic-ness of ponies  !

  5. Nah, my favorite pony is probably Ditzy Doo (Derpy), but I'm probably more like Rarity considering I try to look my best 90% of the time, especially if its a formal event. Not to mention I like to keep things in order unless my laziness gets in the way.

Then again, I've done and said some derpy things here and there.

    Such as:

*turns on car blinker to the right, but makes lane change to the left*

"It's dumber to just be smart, but smarter if you try."

---Heeh, does anyone understand that line?

  6. I couldn't stop chuckling as I read the disclaimer and warnings about pony hypnosis. I'll probably check this out when I'm alone in the house....I'll do Twilight so I can actually finish my homework without distractions  ^_^

....unless I can't think of something....and I"m RUNNGing out of time!!! Clock is tickin Wolf! Clock, is, TICkiNG *deranged smile*

  7. Derpy's character was originally based on Bubble from the Powerpuff Girls, another show by Lauren Faust. And what Derpy is right now is actually an animation mistake.

Almost... except it's pretty clear that the Powerpuff Girls are reincarnated as the Cutie Mark Crusaders, for obvious reasons, but that's totally debatable.

Then again, both Derpy and the PPG were mistakes, but turned out to be soo, awesome  .

  8. That GIF made me lol.

Heh, it's pretty obvious who doesn't live up to their element the most, and I don't blame her. It's not easy to show generosity all the time without going up to everypony and giving each a gift of some sort... but she misses out on her chances to demonstrate generosity. Heck, she gave Spike the smallest gem for taking care of Opal, how generous right? She should have been given a different element, like dexterity (though this refers to hands, but we get the point) since she's great with keeping everything tidy and neat when it comes to making outfits for other ponies.

But no doubt, other ponies also don't fulfill their elements all the time. Fluttershy loses her kind by becoming assertive in the wrong way, and Apple Jack couldn't be honest when she didn't fulfill the promise she kept in Over a Barrel.

  9. Why isn't Scootaloo an option? Hahah kiddin, I chose Gummy, and surprisingly so did many people also chose him. I guess it's because of his indifference towards everything. It's almost like Pinkie Pie is talking to a pile of rocks when she talks to Gummy, who just blinks both eyes one at a time.

Why is Spike a pet? He's more of a friend to Twilight IMO

  10. Well the entire episode we saw her just shooing away other ponies rather than to see any of her good side (like you said). I can't say I hate her since I don't know her motives for why she acted extremely to others (why would she get upset with Fluttershy for lightly bumping with her?). Still, I'm sure one episode with her returning could gain her some redemption like Discord and Trixie did.

  11. I became a brony on December 2012. I was done with classes for the winter, so I would of course go on and watch YouTube poops and other cool vids. A few of the vids I saw had ponies in them, but were not the focus. Probably one of the notable ones was a shed.mov reference, which I thought was wacky and cool. It's not like I haven't ever seen a MLP pony ever. I've browsed memebase hundreds of times and see them appear on the main page, though never acknowledge them as special. So one day I decided to click on a featured video that kept appearing: Twilight's Special Message (oh boy!). Fortunately I have a peculiar sense of humor, so I proceeded on watching an episode. *a lot of episode watching* And I eventually realized that month that I was a brony. Hooray!

  12. My brothers sort of know I'm a brony. Heck, I showed them the pony.mov series and they liked it since they asked where I got the line "stay out of my shed!", but might have different views if they actually watched an episode. Knowing my family, stuff like my brony identity would spread fast, and I wouldn't want to explain to everybody I know why I like the show considering I don't like explaining, not to mention I have a hard time persuading others of my beliefs sometimes.

Outside of that, I'm an average guy in the day, brony at night!

  13. The way you managed to write your first statement did make me a little down. Good writing!

Anyways, even though there might be different sorts of bronies out there, even if you define it by whether one likes Twilicorn or not, the definition of a brony still stands: one who watches My Little Pony who is out of the ordinary audience. We will all still count down for the next season/episode; we will all still sing a long (some of us lol) to another one of Pinkie Pie's catchy songs; we will all still cl....I mean, still joke about why Rarity's element is somehow generosity. Whether or not this is true, it's not like we have a label to identify ourselves as a Capulet or Montague to divide ourselves from one another when we meet, so no worries from me ;)

  14. I really don't buy the fact that she got her cutie mark by blowing bubbles since that seems a bit shallow. That is of course, she had some sort of life changing experience with bubbles that brings out some deeper meaning. Maybe if these bubbles made her happy, it means that she can always look for the bright side of things when times are glum.

Also, if you've watched "Doctor Whooves and Assistant" by uh... did Jitters/BDR write that?.... anyways, she explains the cutie mark represents her bubbly personality.

  15. If by contribute you mean generating art, music, and whatnot, I do not. Although I occasionally create ponies with the PonyMaker (I've got about ten right now), but they're all saved on my computer and are not findable anywhere :derp: . Being a closet brony does limit me from a few things, although I can still write fanfics (I'm not a good writer though) and draw art on my laptop to say the least.

  16. Do you mean gridmarks? I actually don't mind reading those (last one was Cheerilee's garden...'s sequel, and that was a while ago). It's not like any of the really violent fanfics are canon anyways, so why not? I'll admit, they're a bit hard to read sometimes considering we don't like to picture our favorite ponies getting slaughtered.

I'll agree with fimdashie; there's plenty of malevolence in the world of Equestria. Heck, what would Fim be like without all the pony antagonists, dragons, and other dangers?

  17. I've always thought about this

Me: Rarity (tidy) or Dashie (flying is cool, hate losing)..not saying I should compare myself to a girl!

Katy: Twilight: she's also pretty diligent

Kalyn: Pinkie Pie: usually in a bright mood

Rhi: Apple Jack: she seems like a cow girl

I can't think of anyone else to fit Fluttershy or Rarity/Dash

Twilight: I'm a book worm. I used to actually read Dinosaur encyclopedias when I was younger, not just look at the cool pictures. I have read countless books. Plus I love science. This was me in the beginning many years ago and still is me to some effect. I was a strait A student for the longest time as well.

    Dinosaurs!

  18. Always hard to pick who's our favorite. My favorite mane 6 pony is Rainbow Dash, and then my overall favorite is probably Derpy Hooves. After that it's pretty much neck to neck with Twilight, Luna, Scoots, and the list goes on.
