Nothing kills me more than being in one place too long, either literally or figuratively.
Nothing except death of course.

I want to know where all these "low-time jobs" are that people keep harping are out there, cause I've looked a lot and there's nothing out there. Wish I could have that miracle story given all the bad luck I've had for so long.

I think most people do it out of fear of … “consequences”. Either getting bit or finding it in your food or too close. I don’t normally squish any critters outside. They ain’t getting in, though wasps nest must go as I don’t want that near me.
But if you do it for fun, I think it’s cruel. A sin? Ehhhhh maybe wrath?

I received some very thoughtful gifts from my managers recently. I guess that wasn't today... close enough. I was flabbergasted at just how ..yeah. wow.

The question is if it’s a “hole” in space time or just a really deep “well”that’s 3-dimensional? It’s gravity varies so yeah I suppose it’s not a tear in timespace… but just a really deep dent.

Hopefully one day I'll have to deal with the fewest level of bureaucracy and people when it comes to just existing at a specific place, or otherwise, having a place you call home (and enjoy, so not homeless, for starters), because I'm tired of all the stupid paperwork just to move over to another apartment unit, due to the fact rent was jacked up 25%....

That is probably not a scar.

Plan ahead. Don't assume your future is just waiting for you. Build it up and assume the worst, unless that's what you're expecting may happen.

This plate of pork and potatoes mom brought from work. Tasted great. Tasted just like the meat I eat with tacos minus the red marinate.

Hah, hell no. And in 5 years if I'm still around, I could have all my current problems swept away, only to be facing new "permanent problems" on the way there, that I might just wish I was where I am now. I guess that helps appreciating today, not taking it for granted, but that still leaves one in enough trouble always. It didn't have to be this way. I know.

Visited Europe and 5 countries almost 10 years ago. Probably some of my highest moments in life.
10 years later, still nowhere near going back there. Nobody's guaranteed tomorrow either. It could've been me.... this is my reality.

Yeah tired of my wage being delayed and depressed because the weather is bad. Everything keeps inflating except my income. I'm overdue that job... way way overdue. Years...
Matter of fact, the only thing that is shrinking is going to be our home, as rent went up so much we aren't going to accept that 20% increase in the rent.

Heh, well, I was able to pick the right street on my first try where my dad's family used to live at in his hometown (I knew the neighborhood but not the exact street). Amusing.

What I once saw as a future promise now feels like a reminder of constant failure.

I hate that you can't jump off a 2-story building, land feet-first, and walk-away like you can in video games

Have you ever wished you got better grades at school?
in General Discussion
I don’t think it matters. Just enough to get into the school you want and do what you’re good at or hope to be good at.
There’s plenty of people doing much better than I am and I was top of my class in high school (26 out of 500+).
