    Ok so it's a little big of a story for a status but a little arrogant to make a whole thread about it but I feel pretty good about it and feel like showing the pictures hell I'm not very interesting but if people like my bullcrap enough I might blog regularly XD
     
    So for a little while now right outside my window is this big tree that Magpies nest in every year. Today is a fairly harsh cold wind. They are big babies now but still not strong enough to stand against the wind so two poor little babies were blown out of their tree. Again its a fairly harsh chill and they were separated so Quirky got out of bed and after much effort to catch them and hilarity of quirky slipping and falling over on the wet grass I caught them and took them inside and put them in the old bird cage of my late budgie (much as I'd love to let them roam around the house I do have a cat and they weren't easy to catch) so Feeding them some sausage (Maggies lean towards a carnivorous diet) so taking care of them and making sure they are warm and out of the rain for a few hours a wildlife rescue lady came to pick them up. I would have LOVED to keep them and raise them but I don't know enough about magpies to take care of them so cute as they were I had to turn them over. Just posting cuz I feel pretty good about this and felt like sharing hoping I made Ms Fluttershy Proud I snapped a couple of pics too cuz they were cute albeit scared (understandably scared. I was gentle but still a 6ft human would terrify a bird with no human interaction)
