    Just another one of those days for me? Oddly yes!
     
    It's not often in the middle of the day, durning a lay down to watch Food Paradise (Meatballs), that I apparently passed out and took a good 2hr nap. Kinda disappointed cause I only watched probably 20mins of the show before it ran over.
     
    But oh well right?
     
    Moving on from the borning part of this pony's day, working on my artwork and approving ponies to join in the RP for Welcome to the Grand Galloping Gala, has basically been the most part of my day. I can't say that it's been fully gratifying due to that I really would feel better if I got a job in 2D animation somewhere.
     
    Oh but don't get me wrong, I love spending time here on the forums, but like Twilight, there's got to be more to me then just sitting on the forums and doing artwork. Granted I keep hoping my work will attract a bigger audience. I even plan at some point to work on an animation project based off a dream I had about my father. I won't go into the details on it, but it will be a ponified version of the dream heh.
     
    I know that... some ponies who read my blog yesterday (Which is blocked), probably have mixed feelings about me now. I'm not going into details about why I posted it, but I will say that I don't attend to do it again. It was one of those one time things where I felt I just had to speak my mind since I never really do. I'm usually very quiet and don't like the negative attention, and sadly the responses I got from it were more then what I expected on a bad level. But those are the consquences when posting blogs like that, I've accepted my mistake and moved on.
     
    That said I feel like I'm already suffering the mistake of not eating right lately this past week. This old mare has been getting stomach cramps I can't begin to figure out, more likely I can easily blame it on stress.
     
    The solution to my stress?
     
    - Make more artwork!
    - Make brownies!
    - Eat chocolate!
    - Watch MLP FIM!
     
    lol I could go on I can be sucha silly filly, and here I am now feeling like I'm rammbling you know? It's mainly due to being tired... I can't explain why I am though, I know I got a good night sleep despite the thunder storm last night here. But I'm sure the day will be better tomrrow. I'm just happy to look forward to the evening. Watch Star Trek with my husband and play with our rats.
     
    The one thing though that I hope we can do tonight... is to watch the first Alien movie.
     
    Reason why is because my idol...H.R. Giger, passed away yesterday from a fall accident.
     
    He was 74yrs.
     
    He is my idol because... well durning my teen years he was an insperation to me I was picked on alot during my youth for not just my looks, but mainly for my hobby, which was art. The boys would steal my sketch books and go through them, mocking the fact i was a weirdo girl who didn't so much draw ponies or unicorns (like I do now) but dragons, monsters, robotics and cyborgs. But when I thought of Giger and his work, how some people in the world might have picked on him or mocked his talent...he didn't care obviously because he kept on doing it, became famous and created the best scifi movie monster of all time!

    To this day I still admire his work and still love the movies that took his insperation. I just find a slight irony that I went from this :

    Oh but times change when, and your talents change too... His never did though, not since 1970...I will miss Giger dearly.

    So today I had to pay off for our wedding cake today. About 2 weeks ago I put down a deposit with the baker who was a small town gal who just started her business, granted I took a risk booking with her but she had delicious cakes, gave us a whole dozen of cupcakes to take home with me and my fiance for free!!! And she didn't charge us out the wazoo, so that was the good thing.
     
    Today however was a bit frustrating, maybe its because the big day is quickly approaching and reality is crashing down on me every day, but anyways. I go out (following her instructions) on how to get to her newly set bakery, and... I CAN'T FIND IT!!! Her directions were horribly spoken and when I tried googling her address it still had me ended up driving around town looking at empty lots. It got to a point where i came crying home saying "Am I that stupid? I get lost this badly on directions?" But luckily my mama came to save the day. She too though had problems finding this bakery simply because the owner didn't write her address right nor did she throughly explain how to get there in the first place.
     
    But everything has been resolved, the cake is offically booked phew!

    Hey guys, we just picked up our rings from the jewler today. It was kinda another slap of reality that this was really gonna happen. After that me and my fiance along with his mother went to have a nice lunch and mingle with his grandparents who were all too happy to see me and him together all lovey dovey (not too hard with us we're crazy about each other hehe! ). Even though I dont speak a word of German, I was feeling quite accepted in his family all this time. You'd think they would be a bit upset in the fact I'm taking their only son away from them basically to come live with me, but they know this was his choice in the matter and they can tell how happy we are so they dont seem sad at all. His grandmother grabbed my face and shook in with joy, speaking some german about her being happy to see me and that I'm her grand daughter inlaw and LOTS of kisses lol, it was a very nice day.

    Lightning Bliss would not have realized the coldness outside had departed while she slept. Snuggled up warm and protectively in her lover's scales, she didn't even notice the winds died down and the snow faded away. Only when the first rays of the sunlight entered the cave and poured onto her face did she finally stir from her long slumber. She blinked a little groggily at the light then suddenly remembered where she was. She darted left and right, then up and down to make sure her dragon prince was still holding on to her. To her relief he was not only still here, but sleeping tenderly with her rested safetly on his arm, shrouded by his wing in protective hold. She smiled at his head laying some distance away from her, on a makeshift pillow made of gold and diamond gems, every now and then grummbling a snore before smacking his lips and readjusting his head again from the annoying rays of the sun light. She chuckled at the fact he was not one to wake up so early it seemed, but quietly rose from her sleeping spot on him. She slid down the pile of gold bits where her sleeping spot, his arm, rested, and quietly walked towards the cave entrance to look out to the new day.
     
    The snow storm from the mountains had died down to her relief, but a cool breeze continued to blow throughout the peaks. If she hadn't known better, she would have mistaken it for winter rather then spring from the temps up there. She smelt the air, cool and fresh that it almost reminded her of the winter holidays, her favorite time of the year. Then out of curiosity she turned her focus to see if she could spot the town of Ponyville from the ledge. The three mountains she had to pass through the other night blocked most of the view of the town, but she could make out the main large buildings of the town. She recalled the adorable setup of it all, and the apple farm that made her think of how sweet life might be to live there. Her eagerness of wanting to see the town instinctivly made her wings want to spread out, but as they did the pain sprung into her back like a sword stabbed her in the middle of her spine. Oh...right, she remembered then trying to hold from whinning in pain, my wings...I'm grounded! Gah...She looked back at her sweet dragon, still snoozing away, then back to the town, then back at her wings again. I... I can't stay here forever...I gotta get help before my wings get any worse...but I, again she looked back on her dragon friend she comed so fast to care for, how could I leave him though? After everything he did to help me? And if he were to agree to come to Ponyville with me...he'd scare all the townsponys that live there...I can't be with him there...and I can't forever stay here where theres no food...
     
    He slowly opened his yes in the direction of his cave entrance and saw his sweet little pony sitting outside on the ledge, appearing to be enjoying the sunrise. He smiled to her and slowly got up and crawled to be beside her. His shadow loomed over her as he made himself comfortable next to her and opened his winged arms to bask. He watched as she turned to look up at him, and he could see her smiling, but also that she was crying as well. His eyes lowered to concern and he leaned down to get closer to her. She turned away as if ashamed for him to see her like this, but he purred at her to face him. It was amazing how they didn't have to communicate with words, but with sounds and body expressions. She turned to face him again now clearly upset, the smile gone from her face. He blinked at her, not sure what was causing her sorrows. He watched her a moment as she darted her head back to the horizon and then to him once more, he followed her attention towards the horizon and realized then what she was looking at. Ah, he thought to himself, she wants to go to the town of...Ponyville...to stay? His eyes lowered into a glare of dissapointment as he started at the town, while she merely watched him, waiting for his next move. She wants to go there, he continued to think, probably because...he stopped to look at her wings, remembering how badly damaged they were, yes...her injuries are servere, too much so for me to care for...the town would be able to help her better but...what if, she wanted to stay with her own kind...and...and not with me?
     
    Lightning Bliss could see the conflict in his eyes, but she didnt expect him to cry knowing what he was probably understanding from her. His eyes boggled at her in fear, fear that she would leave him if he took her to the outskirts of Ponyville. No...she thought as if he were reading her mind. She grabbed him firmly and hugged him passionalty, licking his cheek while doing so, I will never leave you...I promise...We could figure this out, I could still live with you but still visit the town to make friends and to get supplies for myself...You could stay here and guard our cave, this is our home, it could forever be our home were no one could bother us. He felt her hooves clentch tightly in loyalty to him, making his tears lessen. He sniffed the rest back and wrapped a claw around his white little bride, unable to deny the needs she had to have anymore. But not yet, he thought as if he knew she could read his mind as well, I need to show you something first...something to prove my honor to you... Without any protest she allowed him to pick her up and place her on his back. He stood on his back legs with ease and one at a time, spread his wings as far as they would go. With little efforts from his own ability, he leapt from the cave and allowed the cold wind to lift him into the air, gliding on the currents towards Ponyville.
     
    She couldn't help but admire the speed in which the dragon was able to fly with little efforts then from the mountain winds themselves. She could see the town approaching faster then she ever could have reached on her own wings, that would take nearly a week to reach by foot. But just as she was beginning to fear that he was going to land in the center of town where everyone would see him, he continued over the town, towards the hill valley beyond the town. She blinked at this manuver, not sure where he was taking her, but she didn't have long to guess before he made his slow and smooth decent towards a bald tall grass spot in the valley. She could tell the grass was covered with some white flowers of some sort, very pretty she couldn't help but smile at. But just as he landed on the ground, the flowers became alive! The were small white butterflies that had been disturbed from their rest. Lightning Bliss knew he had brought her here to this place to show her, and it was a magnificant sight to behold. So many white butterflies in one place that she couldnt help but be entranced by it all. She leaned against him as the white little insects flew around them, only to step back when rose himself up as if in preps to do something physically. In shock he inhauled deeply and bellowed out a burst of reddish blue fire from his mouth! Unable to do more then watch in horror knowing that the buttlerflies would be roasted instantly...he continued to spread his flames around them till the entire field was lit up.
     
    But the fire did not cause other fires within the grass nor did it leave burns on the ground. Instead...as his flames deminished, the butterflies colors changed into the colors of the rainbow. Millions of them in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet all flew around them like a rainbow tornado...an amazing display of colors that she couldn't resist in running into, froloicking in glee. He watched his precious little mare leap and gallop amongst the flutter of butterflies and waited for her to turn to him. He lowered his face down in anticipation and was immedialty embraced by her hooves and a deep passionate kiss.
     
    "Oh," Lightning Bliss finally spoke pulling away from her eagerness, "I'm so sorry...I never did get your name?" The wyvern chuckled at that being her first words to him, but admitted to himself that he had not considered giving his name either and happily obliged. "My name," his voice had a rummble, but soothing and brave tone, "is Night Lights...and you? My sweet living rainbow mare?" Lighting Bliss approached him and hugged his check firmly, not resisting in a giggle as she replied, "The name is Lighting Bliss...and I want to marry you." Night Lights smiled and wrapped his claws around her gently, "As do I wish to marry you too Lightning Bliss...I love you, with all the honor within me." "I love you too Night Lights...with all my heart." As the butterflies began to drift away in search of flowers, the two unique lovers held each other close, dreaming of their big day that awaited to arrive, where they would say 'I Do'.

    "LB!!!!!!!!!!!" Bellowed Fire Strength, "get back home RIGHT NOW young filly! You're late!"
    Lightning Bliss heard her angered father roar at her from a nearby cloud in the distance and didnt hesitate to flutter off towards him. She gave Ancient a quick tail wave before buzzing up to the cloud to meet her much bigger stallion father pegasus, a hard worker of the cloud thunder makers. She could clearly see his proud big stallion chest standing firm and straight with his head, white and glimming in the sunlight. His mane was short and curly that was attached to his beard and mustache, black and white in a salt n' pepper mix up. His tail he always kept short like a sheep tail fuzz.
    She came to a hover just a few feet in front of him, hesitent to land on the cloud with him just by looking at his stance. His wings were pointed up and out wide to make himself look even bigger, his cutie mark, a set of weights that were on fire, seemed to be burning with anger off his flanks.
    "Dad," Bliss answered quietly, "how am I late? We're not supposed to go home to mom for another hour I thought?"
    "Well if you haven't been wasting time with one of your little hobbies," her father's nostrils flared, "you would have noticed that hour came and left! Your little sister is waiting for you back at my cloud to fly her home and Celestia knows what your mother will nag at me next with blaming me for you two being late!"
    "Mom doesn't do that dad, you know that," Bliss said immediatly defending her mother, knowing once again the fact that they were divorced was gonna send another spew of turmoil her way, "I'll let her know it was my fault, ok?"
    "Pony feathers..." he snorted and turned to face where their home was and flew towards it, with Bliss following loyally behind.
    "So...Dad?" Bliss flew up to her father's side, "did you see me do it? The Rainboom?"
    "I did," he snorted again, "hope you knew what you were doing, because it appeared you were all over the place."
    "Heh yeah, I kinda was..."
    "You dont think things through Blissy," Fire Strength snorted again but his tone had mellowed some, "you need to learn to focus your ideas before you attempt to start one. Always rushing blindly into the idea before planning ahead. That's what foals do and you're not a foal anymore. You need to start acting like a proper mare and start focusing on what matters, like finding a job and completing your education in Flight School."
    "But Dad," she blinked in surprise, "I have always been doing good in my studies! I just haven't had any luck in finding a job in Cloudsdale yet... I have been looking though and..."
    "And what? Nothing that's what," he snorted again, "you still don't have a job. Your elder sister Soft Kite has a job in feather massage thearpy, your other sister Blooming Dale has a foal on the way and is married to a stallion with a job at least, and here you are still in flight school and no job at all...What does your mother teach you all day I wonder..."
    "Mom encourages me to do my best...I figured you would do the same," now it was Bliss's turn to snort, she was getting fed up with her father talking ill will of her mother.
    "She may encourage you to do your best but I'm trying to prep you for the real world, and the real world is gonna walk all over you if you dont get your feathers in gear and be ready to find a job!" At that Fire Strength snorted like a wild mustang and kicked his hindlegs next to the nearest puff of cloud they came across to push him onward faster, just in time as they were reaching their small home on a larger cloud that drifted with a few others just outside Cloudsdale.
    In the distance Bliss could see her younger baby filly sister Rose Lips sitting on a cloud outside their door waiting annoyingly for their arrival. She was a young teen filly who only just got her cutie mark 3yrs back. She had a light brown coat and golden shaggy mane and tail that was hip of the city at the time. Her face was all beautified with makeup that Bliss always thought she put too much on, but it certaintly signified her cutie mark in everyway. It was a pair of bright red lips paired with yellow roses to symoblize her love of makeup and creativity. Even though Bliss hated makeup she was still proud to know her sister had finally found her talent.

    So I'm a lover of 2D animation and of the animation of MLP FiM, that's a no brainer to anyone here I'd imagine.
     
    Well lately I have been doing my own little youtube shows here and there, I have my own youtube channel called e1d2k channel or the EDK channel where I have a Rat Cam show of my pet rats and my animation portfolios as well as a few episodes of my collections here and there.
     
    Well yesterday I've been watching MLP FiM anylisis shows or reviews from bronies and other pony fans to the point that I'm feeling the need to speak my own opinion on the shows themselves. I dont necissarly expect to be noticed since my channel is not noticed as much to begin with, prehaps maybe I just need to advertise it better. My point is, is that this is an opprotunity for me to have some fun, bring my pony character I'd like to use to be my host body more or less, to life, while I take the time to review the shows of the MLP FiM seasons.
     
    I'm already calculating how my reviews would be set up, a collection of images from the episodes, maybe small clips from the episode too but not too much to avoid copyright, while I'd animate my pony character to my voice recorded review. The animation my be simple more likely with the possibility of me improving it later on.
     
    I hope to get started on this idea soon as I get back from Germany and get back to my computer as a means to use my programs since I can't do it here. At this point though I'd welcome support or opinions on my show idea as a whole.

    What more can I say but feel relief that I'm finally here in the old country of Germany with my sweetie unicorn fiance! It's been quite the journey for the both of us and it is just getting started!
     
    So currently we are hanging out at his place but tomrrow we are leaving early in the morning to travel from North Germany down to the south to Frankfurt because on Thursday together we are doing our immigration meeting. We're confident and dont have doubts about the meeting going well but we are both nervous despite heh. But once we get word about getting his visa we are heading right back to my home state of TX USA.
     
    There will be so much to do once that comes but heck I cant even think about that, I have to focus on the meeting alongside him and what to do right after we get his visa, aka like planning for two tickets in flying back and of course packing his things. So I guess at this point for me, (hard as it is) I need to RELAX and try to enjoy the first time ever this year of having a vacation...Its hard for me though, I've worked at a daycare for over a year now, gone through so many family trials and dont get me started on finaciall strains, and suddenly... I have to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet with my loved one Ive not seen in 2yrs??? Its insane, a sudden change of my world.
     
    This is probably one of the reasons I like MLP FIM so much, there are constantly life changing events, situations or trials the characters have to go through, but they always find way to work it out or get through it with a positive attitude. MLP is so cool!

    (Sorry Folks for posting this twice, I posted it in the wrong area according to a pony admin so I decided to start my own blog as recommended!)
     
    So I'm realitivly new here, some might have seen me post on the Introduction boards of the MLPforums or seen me post about my pony RP along with what my future hubby pony would be even though he's not a pony but LOL yes I'm a pony who's getting married in Dec 14th!
     
    This might be my last post even though I just got started with this forum, I am hoping to continue once I'm in Germany. Why am I going to Germany some of you may be asking now?
     
    Because my fiance is German and I'm a Texan American lol! We met online through a PC game called Aliens vs. Predator 2 (AvP2 for short). I'm actually an admin in our founding clan called [DBH]. Anyways I recruited my fiance back about nearly 4-5yrs ago, and we had a connection, badda bing we are engaged! We're currently in the second phase of our immigration process which is me going with him to the US embassy in his country for an interview to get his visa. Once that process is done and a success, we'll be flying back to my country to get married! We're very excited and over joyed that finally all this waiting is coming to an end.
     
    I'm actually flying out of country Saturday morning and will be arriving Sunday morning for him! Meanwhile my pony family is running around like headless chickens trying to get our wedding preperations in order, but for me and him this is just our opprotunity to catch back up again from 2yrs of seperation... it's been so long.
     
    Anyways just happy to share this little piece of happiness with the MLP community!
     
    PS: I also plan to have images posted in this blog of my imaginary pony wedding too! Like these of my pony and what my fiance's pony would be hehe!
