It's not so much the training, but the living conditions that they have to endure. (saying that makes me feel like the biggest animal rights person, oh god. I normally scorn those people, too. Hm. This must be a sign.)

I remember for a time before I had cats that I would sometimes feel itchy after holding or petting one.  But now I have three and it doesn't bother me at all! 

Huh o-o maybe your body sorted it's shit out then xD

I'm lucky that pollen is the only allergy listed that bothers me.  But it sucks that you can't have a cat (if you'd want to have one otherwise that is). 

I actually have a cat 8D My allergies aren't severe with them, so having one around doesn't bother me. But, if there's like, a lot in a small area, then I'll start having problems xD
