Your OC, huh... hmm.. Looking at it kinda makes me complain that the colors sorta clash a bit. Try going darker (and please refrain from red colors, as they make very bad color combinations). Anyway, the second thing is that the look is a bit too generic. Try getting another person (or yourself) to draw your OC instead of using the OC Creator, as that might help a lot with the generic look.

Okay, thanks for the criticism, but I can't draw for the life of me, and I just made this guy yesterday, so there wasn't much time for anyone to draw him You're right though, the Pony Creator ponies do look generic, although there's not much I could do about that.

Now, the biggest complaint I see here from others is the colors. Honestly, I think the colors are great. Popular colors schemes are getting rather overused and it is nice to see a fresh pony that looks good.

ANYWAYS! I too have to give accolades on the backstory. The whole parents thing might be a little off... for some reason... I cant explain... which is fairly new to me since I am a writer that helps many people create back stories...

 

Yet I love the fact he is not into friends. Most ponies go the whole "super friendly" or "loves making friends". No. You are "loves being alone" and "fights depression". Great. Gives you plenty of room for character developement for, oh I dont know, a story if you so choose to write one.

 

Who knows? A pony from the weather department is noticing that storms seem to be disperssing a little too quickly. Sends a pony to look for a reason why. That pony has trouble making friends, but wants one. What's this? Somepony is collecting the storm clouds. BAM! Character developement oppertunity on making a friend against your will in exchange of your collection being a secret.

 

That was me rambling. Now to the things I think you could change. The spikey teeth and slit pupils. Trying for evil? The tail and hair show untidiness. If that is what you are shooting for, that is great. Just noticed he keeps a neat little collection that I assume he keeps tabs on. He doesn't have to be neat, but that was just a wonder of mine.

In regards to the parents thing, I think it fits the fact that he doesn't like company. He never had any parents, and because of that he was all alone growing up, that's the only way he knows how to live.

In my person opinion I quite like simple OC's, don't really like the color scheme, I think he would look cool with a darked colored body, just my opinion !

The thing is I wanted to symbolize his sort of relaxed-but-still-likes-to-play personallity, and going with something more dark would make him more fierce than he actually is in my eyes, so with that in mind, what do you think? Still change it?

It looks very similar to Rainbow Blitz in terms of his spikiness, and Shocker would imply colours like blues, yellows, and colours that go well with them.

That's what I thought, that he looks like Rainbow Blitz, which is why i went with the red/green/orange color scheme, I didn't want him to be the same as Rainbow Blitz Thanks for the feedback though!

So I decided to make an OC. I never made one before, and I can't draw very well, so I used pony creator. I want your opinions on how he looks and his persona.

Here are the images I have of him:

His name is Shocker, he is a pegasus who loves playing with lightning, mainly to play tricks on people, and his cutie mark is a storm cloud (though it doesn't appear in the pony creator images). Shocker grew up an orphan, he has never seen his parents, he doesn't know who they are. During his younger years he was in an orphanage, and he hated it, he wanted to live on his own to be independent, but he had no way to do so, as it is illegal to let a pony under the age of 18 to live on their own in Cloudsdale. He had very little friends, since he rejected most of other ponies' company. When he finally did turn 18, he decided to fly off and live his dream, be independent, so he left behind his past, and he came to live in Ponyville, where he resides to this day. He still does not have many friends, and he only communicates with the other pegasi who work at the weather facility. Right now he's just getting through life, trying his best not to sink into depression out of lack of interest in living his mundane activities. The only thing that keeps him going is his collection of storm clouds, kept at a secret location only he knows. The collection gives him passion, for now at least.

So, what do you think? Is it good enough to call my OC?

I think she looks cool with wings, and yeah it makes sense for the intro to change somewhat, due to her new situation, it was a given

One thing is for sure, you shouldn't be afraid of them, you like what you like and no matter what they think of you, you shouldn't have to change that. If you are scared of them making fun of you, just tell them you don't care, that petty mockings don't affect you. Even if those things do affect you, still pretend as if they don't that way they won't see any point in keeping on doing that.

And one last thing, you don't have to hide what you love, you don't have to shout it out either, just be cool with it, go with the flow, if they know, then so be it, it doesn't need to affect you.

He's kind of forgetting that it comes down to what the millions of consumers want, not the hundreds critics. I don't think people honestly care about weather or not the game spoon feeds you or sticks to a conventional style of game play it I'm certain that in the end no matter which way you look at it, it comes down to whether or not it's fun. Nothing else really matters.  

I think you missed the point a little bit, it's not about what people want or if the game is even enjoyable (objectively that is), it's about the devolution of this genre, how it went from an open-arena-find-enough-sources-to-keep-on-going game to point, shoot, advance. It's somewhat unfortunate that the sales of these games encourage developers to put as little effort as possible into making new games, and just because something is popular it doesn't mean it should automatically be accepted by everyone.

Obviously, if someone enjoys these games, that's fine, but it doesn't change the fact that the games have indeed chaged for the lacking.

I do like me a FPS. Mostly I only play Team Fortress 2. It's just fun to me. The stock weapons are normally the best. It is however the testing ground for Valve ;-) 

MOST first person shooters have gone backwards. They are being milked for profit and profit only,

I love TF2 as well, one of my favorites, in that game for example, you have a very unique balance between all the classes, and the game was treated very delicately to ensure every single class had it's advantages and disadvantages. That's the kind of thing that is missing in moderm military shooters, in those games you just blast everyone in sight and have magical regenarative powers, that's just poor game design. But I digress, this is about single player shooters, not multiplayer.

I personally agree with everything in the video, and I do believe that companies like Infinity Ward and Activision are just milking their IPs for money, adding little to no new content with each new installment. They are devoid of any and all creativity or variety in gameplay.

In reality, it's just for the show's convinence, the animators just say screw it and make them like hands. But in the MLP universe's respect, I think hooves have a bit of magic in them, helping any pony to pick things up.

No, probably not, my favorite pony is Sweetie Belle, and even though I seem to be a minority in that respect, I don't think anyone would discount me as not having a "best pony".

I would choose smell, I can definitely live without being able to smell, on the contrary, that might be a good thing, not getting nausiated at certain things could be cool. But I wouldn't be able to live without sight or hearing, that would be a nightmare to me.

I don't have any, I used to have 3, one Rottweiler, one Koala and one Great Blue Whale, but now I don't anymore. I wish I had a Sweetie Belle plushie, for obvious reasons

My dream house would be the penthouse in the highest building in my country, watching over all of Tel-Aviv. I would have a pool-balcony, a personal gym, a home movie theatre, a personal cook, and a room just for juggling. It would also have three bedrooms, one for each of my parents and me. I would live with my mom and dad, and let them relax all they want in the apartment.

I'm a Gemini and a Tiger. I don't really believe in this stuff, because I don't see how "the stars" can predict your horoscope. Horoscopes are written by people anyway, they could just be making it up.

As unhappy as I am with my current situation in life, I doubt starting over would change me, so it would be pointless. I might get to a different place with my life, but it would still be the same me, so it won't solve anything.

I would like to see a mastermind villian in the show, I love it when they big villians have a giant masterplan that comes together as time goes on with the episodes. And then in the season 4 finale it all comes to an end, with the main 6 finally having to put their efforts together and stop what has been going under their noses for the past whole season! That could be amazing.

I'm only 16, and literally every girl I ever asked out turned me down. They never said they wanted to be friends with me, they just flat-out refused my company. Which is fine, you can't force someone to be your friend or girlfriend, so really when it comes down to the friendzone, I just see it as "you're a great guy/girl, but I'm not interested in a relationship with you, so let's just be friends". Sometimes I wish I got firendzoned, that way I would at least have some female friends (which I don't have any)

The first and only time I ever experienced a thunderstorm was last year, we rarely get any big storms where I live. One lightning bolt actually hit my house and blew up my internet modem, the TV in the living room and took out the power for like a week But I'm not really scared of thunderstorms too much, after all it can't hit you directly while you're indoors.
