    Earlier this week, my Mom, my brother, and his girlfriend were in car accident, crashing into the front of a building and destroying the front of the vehicle, making it impossible to drive.
     
    Fortunately, nobody was hurt, though.
     
     
    The next morning, shockingly, there was another incident where my Mom grazed a deer with the only working car while driving my brother's girlfriend home and was of course more concerned about the animal than the potential damage to our only remaining vehicle, but neither of them were damaged to greatly.
     
    (The deer just ran off is what I heard)
     
     
    On...Thursday?
     
    Whatever the sixteenth was, I went in to have all four of my wisdom teeth removed along with a huge cyst covering the bottom right side of my gums.
     
    Even with painkillers, it's still excruciatingly painful-but, on the plus side I finally stopped spitting up blood and drifting in and out of consciousness.
     
    Instead of real food, since I can't chew-I'm mostly stuck with a liquid diet or things I can't chew; pudding, applesauce, yogurt, instant breakfast, soup for a few days.

    What I mean is;
     
    Out of fear of receiving a Cease and Desist order and a resulting lawsuit, I've been considering shutting down fan projects that I've been working on (all of which are non-profit) .
     
    My Timelord Rainbow Dash tumblr is (as the name implies) a combination Doctor Who/FiM ask blog and I am now beginning to question whether it technically falls under 'Fair Use' in copyright law or if I should quit while I'm ahead and delete the whole thing.
     
    Fan-art if it looks similar enough to the show (which is one of the reasons I've heard is a potential cause for the Cease and Desist order for Button Mash), then it would probably be best if I avoided creating art as well, despite being in traditional form the ponies (and Spike) can all easily be recognized as who they are intended to be.
     
    Fanfiction feels like its in the same area, especially since the site I write for doesn't take too kindly to song lyrics-partial or full-to be used since apparently it's still possible to get sued for works like that.
     
    So should I just quit?

    I'm not really a fan of Christmas because I'm always depressed when I see how happy other people are during this time of year and realize that there is something wrong with me for not being able to enjoy it.
     
    Maybe it's because there's something wrong with me, my depression always gets worse around the holidays (probably because they take place in the winter).
     
    I realize that I'm probably in the minority here, though.

    Optimism

    I find it odd that I'm the optimistic one for once.
     
    Every other person seems to have a gripe with Season 4 so far, but I'm enjoying the ride which is even stranger considering after the sloppy, rushed, Season 3 and irritatingly persistent musical numbers of 'Magical Mystery Cure' rather than plot and exposition the long wait has finally ended.
     
    We've got a full 26 episode roster, again!
     
    Which means there's still 22 left to air!
     
    And so far...
     
     
     
     
    We've got a Season-long story arc with a new mystery-so why do so many fans seem disgruntled?
     
    I mean-I'm not saying that they're wrong or about their opinions, but I'm curious as to why they feel this way about certain aspects this Season has offered so far.

    I started a topic, but accidentally tagged it with 'Lightning Dust', instead of 'Rainbow Dash' and I don't know how to edit the topic-let alone change the tags.
     
    I've checked the FAQ page, but couldn't find anything referring to this particular problem.

    I neither loved or hated the first film, I just thought it was rushed and overall pretty 'meh', but I'm willing to give this one a chance.
     
     
    With that said, there are a few things I'm hoping for in this sequel.
     
     
    Sunset Shimmer, while I realize that I'm in the vast minority of those that actually like her and enjoyed her appearance in the last film, I would like her to make an appearance or at least be mentioned if Twilight is coming back to the human world-since she was the driving force behind the Mane Six falling out in the first film and subsequently meeting Twilight-not to be mention the whole demonic entity/mind-control thing being simply forgotten would be weird.
     
     
    Vinyl Scratch having either an entirely silent role in the film, since it's HIGHLY unlikely that Hasbro will allow Nowhacking to voice her.
     
     
    Gilda, Lightning Dust, and/or Suri Polomare having a cameo or background appearance.
     
     
    An clarification or explanation on whether two years have actually passed for Twilight to return through the portal or a way for her to return without having to wait, like some sort of magic spell.
