  1. The Mass Effect series, Bioshock, Spec ops the Line, and Metro 2033 to name a few. Violent, but some of the most thought provoking games I've ever played. Do you really think that the world is better off without them? Anyway, Silent Hill because it has gone to shit since it moves to Americas hands and Mario, I'm just so done with that plumber.
  2. Got me to read and write more and got me massively more interesting in novels than I had been in the past.
  3. A few use to hang out with my group in High School and I'm just sort of "meh" to them, their really just another social group that likes darker colors and smoke a lot (atleast the ones I hung out with did.) Though the jocks always thought they were holding knives so they didn't bug us, which was nice.
  4. I've been a gamer since I was five and I just can't associate myself with gamers these days. Most seem to be either purchase games around graphics like you said, or just this general hype that comes out of one CGI trailer. But in all, I don't think we've lost it, we've just grown to such a large fanbase that now you have subsections, like Indie, Hardcore, Casual to name a few and each one is represented differently, though sadly, Mainstream seems to be the most profitable and what they want are graphics and pretty explosions and less originality. This is why I'm so happy that there is a very active Indie community and that there are still games begin released that support mods.
  5. I can't write anything about MLP without it being based around some type of disaster or in a post-apocalyptic settings. And one character always has to die. I also find a great deal of fascination in trying to find ways to incorporate modern tech into the universe in a way that makes sense. I've even gone so far as to actually writing a pre-war history with key details, corporation names, hell, even two competing cider companies.
  6. One guarantee about life; no matter what you like, someone out there probably hates you for it. People just seem to be drawn to the idea of hating something, it's like it's what keeps them going, or maybe they just use it to make themselves feel like their on top to make them less miserable in their mundane life as a Burger King employee. TLDR: People are assholes.
  7. I will be unstoppable. And none shall dare question me!
  8. Off key singing. Extremists People on cellphones acting like their at home. Frame-rate stutter, I'm looking at you Fallout 3. Fan languages. Dr. Who fanatics. Video game mods not working properly.
  9. First thing I'd say is give more details, maybe a bit more work on how Luna became so enraged over the moon, I know it's been done before but it helps since what you have at the moment is Luna pretty ticked by everyone not appreciating her work, to thinking blocking out the sun seems like the best idea ever. Maybe you could write more about her internal struggle being that she is forcing her work onto others until they appreciate it and what she has to sacrifice to do this, one thing could be her very sister. As for the battle, it's hard since it's basically a retelling of what happened in the show and I was loosing a bit of interest since I'd already seen this so maybe think of a few other ways of showing this part. The last thing I'd say is, maybe instead of her regretting her decision, maybe she instead became more enraged, and rather than just wallowing in loneliness, have her scream at Equestria until her throat is sore and she can no longer speak, have her damn her sister and all that and just have her become a beast fueled only by rage. Just my two cents.

    movies/tv Gravity Falls

Easily one of my favorite shows out right now. I can't get over all the little conspiracy theories you can piece together throughout the first season or all the little Easter eggs.
  11. 1. I'd wish that I could wish for more wishes, (HA!) 2. I wish for more wishes. 3. Cake And if that doesn't work 1. I wish that what was ever granting me the wishes forgot how many wishes it had granted me at the final wish, so that it would think it hadn't granted me any. 1. Cake
  12. AHhhh, THERE'S ROCKETS EVERYWHERE, WHY AM I CONSTANTLY EXPLODING, WHAT IS GOING ON, WHO'S TEAM IS THIS?!?!? AH AHHHH AHHHHHHH *you are dead* Hecktick :3
  13. Soldier is a great starter and medic can be good to, you can also try pyro, they do require a bit of skill but at the same time they are incredibly fun to play. Avoid the spy or demoman for now since they have an incredibly high learning curve. Sniper and engineer are good once you learn the layouts of the map and the general way players tend to move so you can take advantage of it, the rest are good to so once you get comfortable just give each one a try. I'd also say stick with smaller games since the larger ones can get incredibly hecktick at times, unless you enjoy that. And remember, everyone is a spy.
  14. 1. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas 2. Fight Club 3. Metro 2033 4. Ender's Game 5. Anything and everything from H.P Lovecraft 6. The Road
  15. Me and my girlfriend always say they're like drunk people. Depending on how young they are is directly proportional to how drunk some 30 year old is. Reddit is a cesspool that's flooding the internet with some of the worst meme's I've ever seen and in such a high frequency that they are just annoying rather then endearing, they destroy all the older meme's by doing the same mass production that the new ones get, idiotic and overblown obsessions over nostalgic games (mostly only Nintendo ones) and the /r/athiest is sometimes just as bad as the Christian groups they are going against.
  16. Formatting is my main issue, but my grammar isn't the best so any help there would be amazing. And just general "Does this sound right" or "Is there a better way I could phrase this." type questions.

    request Looking for a Editor

I'm looking for a few people interested in helping me edit a post-apocalyptic fanfic I just started working on. It is my first real project this size so I need a lot of advice in formatting this beast.
  18. Those are important, but not the first thing you should be worrying about when writing a fic since they can always be ironed out in editing. I'd say figure out character first, get their back-story before the events of the story take place and then think of a goal you want them to accomplish over the course of the story. Now how to get the hero to the goal varies depending of genre you pick. Also, don't get to bogged down in details in the beginning. Write a simple outline, a few sentence and then expand from there. I'd love to chat about this to since I'm also looking for advice on a fic I'm working on so send me a message if you'd like
  19. Overly modded Fallout New Vegas, I don't even know what's really in this game anymore.....
