    "... I'm not sure I've heard about any of those places. How about you Hidden Spark?" Dark Dawn grasps Sleepless Sketches hoove. "But I would love to hear all about them... I've only ever barely seen... oh, um, I mean... you would be willing to share wouldn't you?" Dark Dawn gulps... how am I supposed talk about anything... I've been living in this forest... and don't even know what happened. "So Hidden Spark... where did you learn your magic?"

    "Where did you come from? What do you want to explore? And thank you sir... I absolutely love magic. Ever since the day I say Luna lower the moon at dawn... " A pain suddenly bloomed in Dark Dawns head. " So... Equestria... explorers... that sounds like fun. How much have you seen? What is beyond Ponyville? You don't mind me asking do you?"

    "So... what brings everypony to Ponyville? I live... here... near here... somewhere... nevermind. What kind of tricks would like to see? I practice all the time, it's my favorite pass time." What spell could I use... I could... levitate? No, too easy... teleport? That one is tricky and my nerves might mess me up... I know, I could try an illusion. I'll change my color. Dark Dawn begins to focus and slowly changes his body to bright white, fades it to yellow, and in a shower of small stars back to normal. "Sorry... I'm a little bit of a show off... but when all you have is magic, it's easy to get too excited... I can... go...." A nervous smile spreads and Dark Dawn takes a tentative step back. ((I got a friend, but not really a love interest per say, but remember, Friendship is Magic!))

    "I'll be alright... it's... been awhile since I did anything with anypony..." Why am I so afraid, you were the best at the academy, you are the strongest unicorn... well, no... but you are strong. "Hidden Spark, that is a perfect name. That spell bloomed just like a spark, fast as ever and ready to grow." Dark Dawn turns to face this new pony. "Uhm... hey... I'm a unicorn. I love doing magic... I can... um... show you some if you want." An artist... when was the last time I saw any... "I would love to see some of your art... what's it like? How do you do it?" ((OOC: Not good at multi quoting... sorry about that. Meant to. Heh...))

    "It's alright, I mean, I've been avoiding ponies for a long time. I just decided that I should have a friend... it's been so long. Plus, paranoid is safe." Wow, my apology worked? I'm... I'm talking to somepony... "That spell though, it was good! I haven't seen such a good shield since the instructor at the academy tried to teach it to me! So, I didn't catch your name... I would love to know." For the first time in ages Dark Dawn felt himself bouncing with excitement. Stop it, you aren't a little pony anymore, have some dignity. His tail was still twitching even though all four hooves where solidly on the ground. A nervous smile broke across his face. I didn't sign up for more than one... I can do this... "HELLO UNICORNS!" veritably boomed in his ears. A spell started from reflex, and Dark Dawn struggled to squelch it out.

    @Blazing Hoof "I... I... I was trying to help..." Dark Dawn takes a few steps back. "That shield though, so fast! I'm... um... sorry?" The word felt strange on my tongue... what is wrong with me? I'm just an evil little pony with no friends... NO, shut up, you aren't. You are awesome. You CAN DO THIS! "I really am... I wasn't trying to be rude... I don't get out much."

    @Blazing Hoof There is pony coming, what do I do.... "Hi! What's your name?" she asked, obviously happy. "I'm Dark... Dark Dawn, are your glasses okay? I can help with that you know. I'm pretty good with fixing things, well, with magic. But I'm a cheater like that." This is my chance, a friend... a real friend. Magic engulfs his horn and a beam shoots to the classes. I hope that fixed them... I don't want to blow my chance.

    "Well, I can't be afraid all my life... plus I'm awesome... at magic. Maybe some tricks could help me. Plus, these books aren't helping me learn about the world." Dark Dawn stops walking. "This silly green fur isn't gonna cut it..." he says as he drops the spell. "If I can live in the Everfree forest... I can meet some ponies." His eyes glint, and little spark of memory came back that inspired confidence. "They all seem new, maybe I'll fit in." With much trepidation Dark Dawn stepped onto the path, and into sunlight for the first time he could remember.

    Dark Dawn awoke at his favorite time of day, but today seemed strange. Ponyville was gearing up for something special. Maybe this would be the day that he finally learned exactly why this world was so different than what he remembered. The glorious castle that once existed was in ruins, the forest was as free as ever, and that mysterious tension was gone. He slowly slunk through the forest, and ahead was the some sort of station. Powerful ponies pulled massive carriages... this was new. Dark Dawn cast an illusion to change his coat to a dappled green and hunkered down to watch the happenings. All these ponies are so strange. "I can't deal with this... all of them are so friendly... no way they could like a selfish pony like me..." He slowly walked off, a little distraught and followed the road, off in the bushes, toward his secret cave. "I think tomorrow will be the day I try to talk to someone."

    I can't wait. I'll get started on making a new OC for this! Plus.... it's a good excuse to watch it all, and read it all, AGAIN!

    Well... Luna is best pony... and she is reformed. Just saying. Anyway, I only recently gave it a shot, and got hooked myself. Even got a brony hating friend to at least try it. Anyway, I'm happy to meet anypony that is new! A lot goes on on these forums, and not all of it MLP related. Anyway, hope you have a fantastic day, and WELCOME! Pinkie's welcome song!

    It really is fantastic. I've been dreading posting any of my own work, because I also do pen(cil) and paper art. I did digital.... but new computer and tablet broke. Regardless, my style doesn't really work with drawing ponies, but I think I will. You were an inspiration. One more time, just in case my droning on about myself ruined it... IT'S AWESOME!

    Well, I have only made one so far... the character link is my my signature. If you want me to type it out here I'd be more than willing! Anyway... I'm a pretty new brony... and haven't done much creative writing in awhile. I'm also working on an image not generated through a pony maker... hence why the cutie mark is missing. Thank you for your time. Edit: Current image was made through one of the many makers there are out there.

    I make people bring my ponies to me! MWAHAHHAHAHHA! To be perfectly honest, I haven't gotten anything yet. I will be ordering some shirts though... we'll see if I ever go to a store. I've never been embarrassed about purchasing anything before, so I honestly haven't really thought about it. I suppose the first time will be a little strange.

    Well, not entirely... although it was good enough that I thought it was worth watching more. I started with the first episode... the second one sealed the "Yeah, this is alright" opinion. I can't say which one did it for (I don't think any one did, it was just the characters, lessons, and growth) me. Just over time I loved all of them.

    Nothing. Being an adult rocks right? Lol. I'm not worried about it, but I know what I'm giving this year. And giving gifts to my little sister is up there on things I like to do.

    Wow, you are so creative! I'm actually trying to learn how to do just this. Anyway, I do have a request... I would like one for my OC. I would prefer symphonic, but honestly, if you think of something that fits better feel free. You have obviously done a fantastic job on all accounts for previous posters. I just want to get across the feeling of overcoming weakness I suppose, or perhaps triumph? I personally mostly listen to metal... but like classical, industrial, darkwave, etc:... and believe that most artists make at least one good song. You've shown me 3. I trust you.

    I haven't really received many gifts in my life... so I've been happy almost with all of them. Although I may not have liked them, I always appreciated it. However, one does come to mind. My mother got my brothers and me a stereo that could play CD's. (They were still pretty new) So she got each of us a CD... I had tapes for Bob Marley, Megadeth, ACDC, and the like... She got me a Britney Spears CD... I'm sure she just didn't know... or thought it was funny... but at that time I wasn't amused. I guess we can laugh together now that I'm a brony... but at the time I had to really struggle to appreciate that one. The other CD's she chose to buy... The Backstreet Boys and Lou Bega... Oh well.

    It doesn't have to do with liking the show, or having a designation that ties one to it. His distinct lack of morality is what would trouble me. The rest of it is up to her. Personally, anypony that could be that rude, disrespectful, and expect his friends to be the same deserves to die alone. People change though, I guess. Anyway, it is up to her. I would say if you informed her of his hateful and disrespectful comment (or better, he tells her on his own), and she was interested, then why not. Let them figure it out.

    I have told my best friend of 13 years and his wife. They were alright with it. Although they thought I was joking at first, but I just went with it and next thing I know, he said he would reconsider and give the show a shot. After all, I'm a veteran, great at shooting, exercise, can drink like a champ, listen to metal, and all the rest of the super Alpha traits men are supposed to have. Well, I'm sure it'll be rough for a week or so after I sport my new shirts in my university, but hey, I'm already a hermit. After the military civilian interactions are kinda hard to deal with. (it hasn't been that long). Anyway, I've protected their right to hate what I like, so it's whatever. Lol.

    Everypony has a favorite, and want's them to have air time. I think the show is fine as is. The dynamic between all of them is what is important. I understand your point, but why fix something that works? As long as there are lessons to teach, I really don't care if my favorites get the air time they "deserve". Anyway, I'll think on it a little more, but I doubt my opinion will change much. Anyway... what would a cutie mark for arguing look like?

    I understand exactly how you feel. I'm an adult... male... and a veteran at that! Most of my friends are thousands of miles away, or moving. I joined because I had absolutely nobody to talk to about this, and I felt it was important. I'm also in the middle of nowhere. What a coincidence! Anyway, happy to see you here. I'm sure you'll have just as much fun as I have. There are a lot of fantastic ponies on this site. Wish you the best.

    I would like to apply. Information for my character is in my signature. I just recently joined, and thought I should get into the action. I don't really understand how to apply... I checked that thread... but it didn't really say. Sorry If I'm doing it wrong.
